They got the job done and they were very polite. The only downside is they forgot my first appointment, so I had to call back and make a second appointment and they were not cheap.

Overall I was more than satisfied to quickly get a nagging problem addressed in a professional and courteous manner.

Prompt Professionalism. Initial contact via phone... guy came out same day. Indicated it would be late in the afternoon; however, they had a cancellation and called to see if they could accommodate me sooner. I jumped at the opportunity. Technician installed the locks, (I purchased) and made sure I understood how to use the keyless entry as well as how to enter/change codes at will and the added bonus was his willingness to key both keys so I would not need to carry around a key for front and back entrances. KUDOS to Harveys Lock and Door Service Note: This was not an emergency and I am sure to recommend them to any of my neighbors, relatives should an emergency arise...they are Johnny on the Spot!

I called them for an appointment to fix my busted door & lock and the mechanic arrived on time took pictures of the work needed to be done sent the pics to his boss via of his smart phone who later joined him in the repair & they started & finished the work all in the same day making my door more secure than ever. These guys were courteous punctual and very professinal. They cleaned up after the work was done and followed up by sending me requested info via email. Their prices were very reasonable. I would call them back in a heartbeat.

Experience went well. Called the number, the person whom I spoke with was polite and I scheduled me for the next day. The serviceman was considerate, showed up on time and did good work. I would recommend Harvey's.

Robi was nice. Worked quickly and efficiently. Got the door open and that was it. I don't have the time to write a glowing review but this was quality service. I'll let the ratings I provided tell the story.

The repairman arrived on time. He greeted us professionally. We immediately physically reviewed and discussed the work to be performed. He proceeded to work industriously. was very respectful of our home and cleaned up after himself which we really appreciated. We've had several other repair people or contractors who have not done a good job of cleaning up their worksites. This gentleman was very conciencous and polite. He worked at a constant pace and did not waste time. Overall, very professinal and refreshing. The charges were slightly over estimate, but I attribute that to some items that were not definite, on our part, at time of estimate. Overall very impressed and would recommend to anyone.

I was very satisfied with their service. They were very efficient. I liked them very much and I would highly recommend them.

The first time we called they didn't get back to me. They told me they would come on Thursday, and never showed up. When I called them back, they apologized. When they came to change the locks, they changed 7 locks within three hours. The locks had a difficult mechanism, and they did an excellent job.

Harvey's was able to schedule my appointment the day I requested (2 days after I called). The installer showed up, was very friendly, but very expedient. He asked me to show him what was needed, and then set off straight to work. He rather quickly changed out two knob locks and installed two deadbolts, and keyed them all together. I was surprised how quickly he got this done, given I had had similar work done a few years ago, and it took over twice as long. Additionally, the installer figured out why a door wouldn't stay shut, and fixed that while he was at it. The only slight criticism I'd give was that the invoice was well over the phone estimate (by about $100). But I couldn't really complain, because A) He was so expedient, and was able to fix an annoying door in the process, and B) The bill was still $100 less than last time (when I hired the aforementioned slowpoke a few years ago). And perhaps the work was more complicated than what was explained over the phone. I just wish the estimate would've been closer to the invoice. I'd definitely hire Harvey's again. Very responsive, expedient, and just great to work with.

We contacted Harvey's Lock and Door Service because we needed our locks re-keyed and they came out the same day. We were happy with the service and the price seemed reasonable.

He did a quick job and his prices are reasonable. He came right out to fix my door. I would use his services again in the future.

I've used Harvey's Lock before so this is why I called him again. One tenant was moving out so I change the locks in between tenants. I set up the appointment with them and he showed up at the correct time. He changed all of the locks like I asked and made the amount of keys I needed. No drama. They're great!

Getting the lock on the back door fixed was one of those jobs that I figured I would get around to eventually. I had already researched Harvey's online and decided I would use them once I was ready to fix the lock. I was out and drove by their shop and decided to call right then. The gentleman on the phone was really patient with me. He told me that there was someone already working in my area and that they could come to my home after completion of that job. And this was about 3 in the afternoon. The gentleman came out within the hour (he actually got there before me - my son was able to let him in). He replaced the lock on the back door. I asked if I needed to make an new appointment to rekey the front door lock and he said no, he would take a look at it while he was here. He ended up replacing the lock on the front door as well. He also provided us with 6 keys for the two locks. ( While I am not sure of the exact date, I was around Thanksgiving and I was grateful that they were able to accomodate me so quickly)

The service person arrived on time as promised,removed the old lock, and installed the new lock. Upon completion, there was the appropriate cleanup.. He didn"t take long.

They were great. My house was robbed so I need help in a hurry. They came the next day and replaced my front door lock and measured and gave me a price on a new door. The size of my door was custom so it had to be ordered. As soon as it came in they scheduled the installation. They said it would take about a half a day and it did. They work quickly and efficiently and were very courteous and pleasant to deal with through the whole experience. I have recommended them to other people and would definitely use them again.

Many of our staff are -blind and have difficulty using traditional door keys to locks. (Among other things, how do you find which key inserts into which door? Harvey's helped us choose a simple 5-button combination lock for the front door of the business, and that solved the problem. (These are attractive push-button locks that are installed into the door itself). And they are super easy and super secure. We liked it so much we got combinations installed on the front and back doors of our house! Perfect security and no more lost or forgotten keys. Even when I go into the garden for a few minutes, I can turn the latch and lock the door. We also installed it on our rental garden cottage, which our tenants love. If they have a cleaning person who comes once a week, there is also a temporary combination they can put on for their sole use. And if a one-time repair person has to come when you aren't home, you can simply program in a one-time combination, then change it back at the end of the day. When our antique deadbolt on our massive 100-year old oak door broke--we didn't use it to lock the door, just to keep it shut, as it's a split "Dutch door,: Harvey's took the lock back to their shop and resolved the problem. They could not replace the lock as it was a huge beautiful brass inset and would have meant ruining or getting a new door! Same beautiful lock now, in the same beautiful door, with the combination lock inset above the old lock. I've relied on Harvey's Locks since I moved to the area 22 years ago. An oldie but a goodie.

I made copies of several sets of keys at my local hardware store, only to find that the copies were balky and virtually unusable. I had a set of french gdoors that were locked but there was no key, so I called Harvey's Lock Service (found them on Angie's List) and had them key the lock and make all the copies I needed. The copies seemed to work better than the originals! Fabulous in every respect -- from the promptness of the service to the congeniality of the locksmith. Very professional, and the quality of the work was superb.

They were really good in their services. They didn't talk us into buying the most expensive thing. He showed us a big variety of options and things like that. If we need copies, they're very good. They're also good with matching what we have already installed in the house.
