Robbie was a life saver, as I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with the filing the two doors. He let me know the glass door didn't have a real lock but he could put one in to match my front door. He even suggested which glass door would be best (I have three.) He was very personable, friendly, helpful, and willing to do the extra job that suddenly came up without a fuss. He spent a few hours making sure he covered all the bases and that I was satisfied. He even phoned me cause he saw me lingering at the front door lock when he was pulling away to make sure everything was okay. (I was actually trying to take the combination key lock off the door which had nothing to do with the work he did.) You can imagine how exhausted my husband and I are with this big move, and to have someone come in and take something unexpected off our list with such attention to detail was just amazing! I will without a doubt recommend Harvey's services to anyone.

He did a very good job. I think his price is standard. It seems high to me but everything is expensive nowadays. It’s comparable with other industry of prices. He did put somebody else back in on the garage door which he could have left but he didn’t. He did bang those back in so he did a very good job. He made sure everything was done properly.

I arrived at Harvey's new shop in Milmont Park, PA which is very close to I-476 the Blue Route. The shop is clean and well-organized, with an assortment of doors, locks, and safes on display. A new key was cut, and programming was completed, in a very short time. Overall, I had a very positive experience, and highly recommend Harvey's for all of one's home and auto lock and door needs.

Great service. Completely punctual, pleasant and highly efficient. Fixed the horrible mess of a front door within minutes and followed through with other checks on the hinges etc. Immediately recognized the problems and underlying issues with the door and frame. Was able to have the door working with fixes within minutes. We will definitely be using this locksmith again and greatly appreciate this company's professionalism, knowledge and assistance.

I had an old steel door whose interior was falling apart at the locks. This created a condition where the screws were no longer catching and getting lose. this happen to the extent that it was no longer repairable on my end and the door got stuck. They came out on time got the door open and re-built a part of the door to re-install the locks. All working in less than an hour.

They did a great job. They are very professional. They promptly got back to me - even when I asked them to do something outside of their standard locksmith area. I would absolutely hire them again. I highly recommend them!

As we were finishing our final walkthrough with our realtor, we received a call from their employee that he was in the area ahead of schedule. Unfortunately we didn't own the home at that point and couldn't have the locks changed. While we did ultimately have to wait several hours after closing for the locks to be changed, they made sure they were changed, secure, and we had copies of our keys. No complaints, we would have been ahead of schedule if we'd owned the home when they first called. :D

I was in a hurry to fix lock because we were trying to sell my Mother's house. It worked fine. We were quite surprised by the cost and did not think it would cost soooo much.

Harvey's is the best. They showed up on time, did everything I needed and even gave me advice about keeping my house secure. The guy showed up on time, did what I asked and the price was reasonable.

What do you want from locksmith? Punctuality and good service. All of my new locks and keys work great.

The locksmith arrived as stated right away and replaced the lock swiftly. He gave my tenant two keys and she mailed one to me. My tenant was only an hour late for work. Dan knew I could not meet at the my building due to be incapacitated so he took the payment over the phone. I could not believe the service, the punctuality and ease it was to work with this company. Dan got me out of a big jam and all I had to do was make the call. Thank you!

Service, responsiveness and professionalism were all great - everyone I spoke to was helpful and great to work with and they performed the service within 48 hours of the request. "B" on price because the special I pirchased was the same price to re-key 2 locks vs 4 locks, and once we got to the house one of the locks couldn't be re-keyed so I paid $40 for a new deadbolt - overall cost was ~$200 to secure 2 doors which seems high in retrospect, but I was still satisfied to have the service completed quickly and on short notice

Like a knuckelhead, I lost my last master key for my 2000 Toyota Sienna. After talking to several locksmiths for duplicates of the valet key (all said that a valet can't be duplicated and one did cut a key but didn't think it would run the car so I was fearful to try) I went to Ardmore Toyota. They first said they'd need to reprogram the computer for $300; two new master keys would cost $50 each, an hour at most. When I arrived at Toyota the story changed and now they'd need to send the computer to Pittsburgh for reprogramming. This would take at least five days and the total cost was now $560 plus tax. I was originally told that even if they sent the computer out, the cost would still be $300 for reprogramming, $400 total with two keys. I don't think were being cagey with me, they just couldn't get the definitive answer for me the first time about getting me a new key. I took a chance with Harvey's Lock & Door after talking with him on the phone, brought him the car + valet key. He cut two keys; they both work like the original in that they open the doors and run the engine. Brilliant, that's just what I wanted and he did the job at the store in under 1/2 hour (though that could vary if he's real busy). Total cost, $180 including tax for two keys and he's a pleasure to work with. Bottom line for me is if you need help with an automobile key go to Dan at Harvey's Lock & Door first and save hours of frustration.
