The locksmith arrived on time and was totally professional and helpful. He had everything he needed on the truck. I was very happy with this Big Deal and would definitely call them again if I need lock work. I don't recall the exact price--I may have paid something additional for the extra service. But if I did it was very reasonable.

Okay. I appreciate the service. He went out to his truck and rekeyed the locks. Worked for like 30 minutes or so on the door. Asked me how many keys I wanted.

The technician 'Robi Chin' arrived on time and I demonstrated my problem and he said it was minor problem and he set to work. He finished in about 15 minutes and he relined the tracks and lubricated both tracks & springs. The door ( Which is a large door 8'X10' and his work was flawless. It works better now then when new. I highly recommend this company and intend to have them install a power lift motor package shortly.

I communicated with several lock smiths through Angie's and decided on Harvey's due to the responsiveness and professionalism of my initial experience (using Angie's messaging system.) The technician was polite and worked hard.He made excellent suggestions and communicated about and resolved any problems that arose. The resulting price was very close to the estimate, despite the fact we made a few changes. I am very pleased with my experience.

What a relief! Harvey's was the 3rd locksmith I had actually come out to fix our door, which has a rather uncommon multipoint lock system not common on front doors. Not only was the office staff very helpful, but Phil came as promised the very next day and was able to exchange the 2 systems so that we didn't have to replace the entire door/lock. He went above and beyond when it came to figuring out how to get the cylinder out (we had to call the manufacturer!) and when he suggested that I replace the cylinder, he told me where and exactly how to order it. So impressed with Phil and Harvey's Lock and Door!

When I returned home from work one night, although my key would turn in the lock, the deadbolt didn't move. Nothing would work, either from the outside, or the inside of the house. I found Harvey's through the list and contacted them first thing the next morning. Although they originally scheduled me for 11:00 a.m., they called a few minutes later to say that they had had a cancellation and were at my house by 9:15 a.m. Bill, the repairman, was very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly--a broken mechanism in the deadbolt and told me that, although the deadbolt needed to be repaired, the lock was ok. He replaced the deadbolt. While there, Bill noticed that the key was hard to turn in the lock. He repaired something else in the lock and now the lock works perfectly--better than it has in the 20+ years I've owned the house.

They are great. They have a good follow up and they were on time. They seem to be trustworthy and professional. They did it very quickly.
