I have a garage door that was poorly installed by another company; the door didn't always close, and when it did, it was not flush with the ground on one side. Tom fixed the door - no problem! I was told by many people that the problem of the door not meeting the ground on one side could not be fixed without squaring-up the opening with new concrete. I can't say enough about happy I am that Tom was able to fix this problem.

They did an excellent job, replaced the opener and lubricated the existing door, tracks, springs etc.

The garage door went up then fell back down and jammed. We called Suburban and he came and diagnosed and attempted an emergency repair. The spring broke again. He had to order a pair of new ones. He installed them a day early when we were not home. Two other contractors had wanted 3k to replace the door and opener. The provider was expert, courteous and trustworthy.

Service person arrived quickly, completed work, explained what he did. I am very satisfied with the results.

The garage door spring broke (the large coil one above the door), causing the door to be stuck in the down position. My wife and I, along with our cars, were stuck on a morning we needed to get to work. We called Suburban and they arrived within an hour and a half of our call. The serviceman replaced the spring and lubricated all parts on the door. I was impressed with their prompt, professional service. I will definitely call them again in the future.

It went very well. We called the company and got a convenient appointment. The installer arrived on time and was prepared to install a new opener since we had established on the phone that this might be a possibility (our old garage door opener was about 20 years old and not reparable). Everything went well -- he made sure that we understood all of the features and controllers (it's more advanced than our old one). He cleaned up everything and took all the old machinery, etc. away with him.

The door is much quieter than before the repair so that was a pleasant surprise since I had no idea that it was noiser than normal. I wish more companies did business this way.

They came while we were out so I cannot vouch for their exact timeliness. We left check based on their excellent Angie's List rating. Job appears to be well executed. Old door gone and things left neat and clean. As a bonus, they changed a few small parts that must have been worn and did not ask for any more money. That is very impressive.

I could not be more pleased! This was my first foray with Angie's List, and it was all I was hoping for. I found Suburban Overhead Doors on the List, read the reviews, and it sounded like they could help with my problem. I called, and spoke with a really pleasant woman who set up an appointment for Monday. As it turned out, I was unexpectedly away due to a family emergency when Tom came (he was right on time), but we spoke on the phone, he independently handled the two garage door issues I had, and a bill arrived a couple of days later. Repeat customer of this vendor - another excellent job. Very quick call back when message left (within the hour), and someone came out the same day. It was a quick and easy fix, and good companies make such repairs seem quick and easy.

I had to wonder why my prior garage door repair company had given me such flimsy pulleys, because my 30 year old wooden door is a double-size, for a two car garage. Suburban explained that they liked to exceed the standard specifications. Now I won't be calling for a repair every 4 years, thank goodness.

They were so pleasant to work with and were very flexible. They were very accommodating and friendly to work with. They were fairly priced, honest, and straight forward.

I called on a Thursday and scheduled the appointment for Monday morning. The repair man was out Monday morning to fix the door. He recommended the work necessary and completed the repair in about an hour. He was friendly and professional. I asked how much it would be and he told me I would be billed by the office, but around $175. The bill came in at $225.

Returned call promptly and scheduled a visit that was convenient for us. Arrived promptly and did the required work. Our actual price ended up being $ 215 because we had a discount coupon for $35.

They returned my call by 9:30 am, and were at my house by early afternoon. They worked quickly, cleanly, and did an outstanding job.

My phone called was promptly returned and an appointment was made for two days later. The service technician arrived on time and the work was completed within two hours. The Liftmaster door opener works well. This company was prompt, professional, friendly, and I would use them again.
