We had them over to do an estimate on a bunch of work throughout the house (thousands of dollars) and they never gave us the estimate and never called us back.  Left us hanging for 2 weeks.  I called and they said they were busy and lost a staff member and were falling behind, but have not heard from them again.  Disappointing.

The repair was completed within 2 days of the estimate.  The work is excellent and I will use this company for all my general contracting needs.  I recommend them to anyone who has a large or small job.

Their responsiveness and professionalism were good. I would say they are eager and they provided a good, written estimate. I thought the estimate was a little bit skewed in terms of the cost of wall paper removal versus the cost of the painting. I would have expected the paper removal being the more expensive part of the job but it was the reverse with them and I questioned that. Their overall cost was the highest I received of three bids. I've just decided to hold off on the project until next summer.

I asked him to come out and have a look, and within another several days, had an appraisal and estimate. I originally contacted The Carpenter's Son to do the interior painting of my daughter's townhouse, as the company was listed under Interior Painting. However, when I met with Dan, I discovered he was a general contractor who has extensive experience in home repair and remodeling. Since I live in another state than my daughter, it was a real blessing to me to find Dan. He was able to do everything I needed done to update/remodel the townhouse and get it on the market to sell in just a few short weeks.. I was really worried about how I was going to get everything done on the house and coordinate it all, not knowing the area and service providers. But Dan and his wonderful crew just stepped in and took that burden right off my shoulders and went to work. Dan is a very well trained contractor with years of experience who is able to do anything you ask of him. When he ran into problems in the remodel, he offered various suggestions on how we could correct the problems and as inexpensively as possible. There were also a few things Dan did at no additional cost to me, which was a big help financially. Dan and his crew were always on time and let me know what their plans were for that day and the next. Dan is an extremely nice man and very easy to work with. He is very knowledgeable in his field and can make various suggestions on ways to tackle getting the job done, from bare bones to higher end fixes. Every aspect of the job went very well. They started when they said they would and always showed up on time. The work was done exceptionally well. I could not be happier.
