Fantastic! Everyone loves the work they did. They painted, moved some things around and made shelving. We hired them for a project in our house and liked their work so much we hired them for a remodeling project at work (this is our 3rd total project) They always do beautiful high quality work! If you want a job done right...hire these guys!

I called the guy, gave my info and addy, he said he would be here in a day or so to evaluate the job and give price, well, he must be so busy he never made it AND never called back with an update. Would I hire again, that would be a big NO and I would NOT recommend to others. I like reliability...................

Dan and his son deliver outstanding service--they are competent, conscientious & reliable. Their carpentry work is precise & they clean up after their work. If they don't have the expertise, they will call someone else or advise you on who to call, since many home renovation projects require multiple skills. They have done large and small jobs & their prices are fair for high quality work. Dan even came to my mom's house one night at 11:30 PM when I discovered flooding in the basement, and he helped me salvage items & figure out the who to call. I cannot recommend The Carpenter's Sons highly enough. If they don't get back to you right away, there is an explanation (like an emergency) & apology.

Dan and Rob did a fantastic job. They are very meticulous and leave everything nice and clean when they are done. They ran into quite a few snags (none of them their fault) and still did everything top notch!

PRO's: - Dan seems very honest and straightforward about potential problems in the house. - Dan went above and beyond to give us advice about potential entry points of water that could be causing the water and mold in the basement beyond what we asked. - Dan spent a lot of time patiently explaining these things to us. - Dan squeezed us in to an already booked schedule because of time concerns. - Dan did a thorough job. - Dan did not charge us for things he did not do or unnecessary fixes. This is a big plus for me. CON's: - Dan did show up unannounced several times, however, I can't fault him too much for this because he was trying to fit in helping us on top of his already-packed schedule and he stopped by after working on our neighbor's house that was right nearby. - My wife felt the overall price could have been lower maybe through another provider. Overall, Dan's straightforward approach, trustworthiness and quality work stand out.

Called several times to try and finalize the work, and my phone calls were never returned. Obviously didn't want to do the job, but never informed me. Poor customer service.

Carpenter's Sons came over to see about fixing a leak into the kitchen and concluded that the problem could be inadequate flashing and insulation. They had done some work on the rubber roof under a deck about two years before but that did not fix the problem. As it turned out, neither did their work last fall. We finally asked someone else to look at the problem and they recommended a new rubber roof. That did the trick. On the other hand, Carpenter's Sons did an excellent job installing new wooden steps on an old stairway inside the house. As carpenters, then, I would say they are top rate. I would not recommend, however, as problem solvers for other issues. I rate them a C for price---not bad but not a great deal either.

My husband called first thing the next morning after we reviewed potential contractors on Angie's List. Our call was returned within 30 minutes and he came to our house that afternoon. Fans and heaters were brought in immediately to dry out the water damaged area which thankfully was not too bad. His plumber repaired the burst water faucet and work began as soon the carpeting was dry. The job was completed in just under two weeks and our basement looked as thought nothing had happened to it. At the time of the "accident" our home was just under two years of age and we were distraught by what had happened. We were assured that our basement was look as good as new, and it does! Carpenters Sons was highly professional and extremely courteous. We would use their services again and would recommend their work to family and friends.

These men were truly my angels. When I found this flood in the home which I was trying to prepare for sale, I was devastated. I thank God I had these very re-assuring, honest, and hard-working professionals to turn to. Anyone who faces an emergency as I did would be fortunate to hire them. I would also recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone contemplating remodeling or a room addition. Families thinking about home remodeling should also know that, with the Carpenter's Sons, you don't have concerns about workmen using inappropriate language in front of your children. These are truly polite, Christian gentlemen. My house was built in 1978, and was our family's home for 34 years. After the Carpenter's Sons cleaned up all the damage and thoroughly restored the entire home, it went on the market like a brand-new house and sold in 6 days!

Dan Miller came by to give me some helpful and informative tips to keep mold away from my upstairs bedrooms. He did not charge me for these services because this was technically a free estimate on work that I figured had to be done. Work did have to be done, but he gave me the tips with the idea that I could handle it myself. However, Carpenter's does offer a lot of other services too, so I will definitely keep their business in mind for any other services needed. You should too!!

My water heater on 1st floor living area was leaking over a period of a few months and got under all my flooring and created mold on multiple walls. Dan and his team at The Carpenter's Sons were there immediately and began explain and preparing a plan to remove all the damage. They walked us through every step of the process and even did the cleaning and dry out over Easter weekend while we were away. Dan's experience helped a great deal in dealing with our Home Owner's insurance which made that process extremely smooth. Everything about this company was fantastic and I highly recommend them for any type of contractor work you many need, especially water damage.

Went fine. Color not as close as it could have been so repair kind of sticks out. That's not too important, and otherwise was a good job, prompt and good quality.

I purchased a coupon through Angie's List for "Painter for a Day" and contacted Dan Miller. He was very personable and professional. We were in no hurry to have the work done and arranged for Dan to call us when he had a break in his schedule. He visited our home and assessed what had to be done (he also did some drywall repair work). We purchased the recommended paint and Dan and his employee arrived on 9/26 and completed the job the next day. We are very happy with the outcome and Dan is going to contact us after the holidays when he has a break in his schedule to paint our family room.

Professional, on time, overall outstanding job. I would highly refer Dan Miller and company as I have also seen the company do a total remodel of a home that most company's would not take on. The hours and dedication it took to remodel the home was outstanding. You would be very pleased with the outcome of their work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did an excellent job. They offered good suggestions and they seemed to desire to do a good job to my satisfaction and they did that. They were done by the week they told me they would be done. Their price compared to the other quotes I received. I am scheduled to use them again.

Their price was high but we had 2 Angie Deal coupons. But the painter only wanted to honor one of them So we received a refund from Angie's and went with another painter

He came to our home to give us an estimate on installing the 9x11 ceiling in our kitchen. He seemed very professional, asking and answering all the right questions. He told us that he would mail an estimate over that weekend. It has been over 3 weeks now, and no estimate. I was disappointed with his follow up, and I decided not to call him back. I feel that the ball was in his court, so to speak, and that he should be the one making contact with me.

The gentleman came out and measured every room to paint and i have not heard from him since. I called to follow up and was told the estimate would be sent within 48 hr. still nothing...business must be good these days for companies to blow off customers.

We had the bedroom cleared of all furniture and also had removed switch and outlet plates. We are having new carpet installed right away but they still used drop cloths and everying was done neat and clean.

The job went well. We were very pleased with the result. They were very helpful. He apparently contract out. He has people he works with that he trusts. So, he did not do any of the work himself. He just oversaw the contracting.
