My three Crape Myrtles had grown beyond anything I could handle so I looked on Angie's List for a contractor and fortunately I found Lenk Tree Service. They came out and estimated the job, provided an estimate and arrived on site to perform the job on Oct 8th-13. They pruned all three trees, the largest being around twenty five feet tall, shaped all the tree to my satisfaction, cleaned up as they went , ground up the branches and cleaned the site. I highly recommend Lenk Tree Service, use the, you will like what they do.

These guys worked their butts off to do the great job that they did. Based on the job and estimate that Chris provided we began immediately recommending Lenk's to others. They used them and loved the price/quality that Lenk delivered. We are using them on a second job in the fall. We look forward to another great job. Our one comment - Better use of cell phones to keep us abreast of time changes would be a good idea.

The work when finally done was done well. Their scheduling and lack of communication is the reason I will not use them again. They don't return calls, they missed an appointment and when I finally got an estimate it was on the high side. Now I am not looking for the cheapest but I felt like I had to chase them to hire them.

Recieved quote in 2 days, arrived 3 days after signing and emailing the quote...arived when i was at work and cleaned up debris really well....stumps were ground the next day. They did a nice job for a fair price.

Mr. Lenk came out and provided us with an estimate that was straight forward and very simple to understand. We contacted his office to inquire about how quickly the service could be performed and asked to add on a few more stumps. They said it would be no problem, and explained to us that they did the tree removal on the first day and the stump removal on the second day. Due to some upcoming rain and a weekend, they said they would be in touch early the following week to schedule. Sure enough, they called right at the beginning of the week. I missed their call and when I called them back in the evening, someone actually answered the phone! They scheduled us for the very next day. When Lenk Tree Service showed up at the house, they pulled into the alley right beside our property and immediately got started. I have never seen anything like it! Clearly, this group of guys knows exactly what they are doing. In just about one hour, two trees were down, the yard was cleaned up and they had marked the stumps with spray paint for the man coming the next day. As promised, the man with the stump grinder came the next day and was gone in less than an hour as well. I relayed to him my husband's concern over going too deep with the grinder in one area due to an underground rain gutter. The man was very careful only to remove the surface of the stump in that area, and took care of all of the rest of the stumps. He cleaned up after his work and we are very pleased. Overall, we are extremely happy with the work performed by Lenk Tree Service. If I had any future need for tree or stump removal, I would absolutely call them without a doubt. The best part was the price! They came in hundreds of dollars less than all the other companies we had called, and the quality and service was worth every penny. We absolutely recommend!!!

Lenk provided a detailed, item by item, written proposal at the time the estimate was performed. The estimate was significantly lower in cost than the other two services that gave me estimates. The estimator came within a day after I called. Mrs. Lenk was prompt in returning phone calls I made to her. The day before the work was scheduled to begin, Mr. and Mrs. Lenk unexpectedly came by the house to review the work with me, which I found reassuring. They arrived on the scheduled day exactly at the time they said they would arrive. Mr. Don Lenk personally supervised the crew of two climbers and four groundmen. They went to work immediately and wasted no time during the day. They were very hardworking and efficient. Three of the trees were very large and grew directly over the house. They removed all the trees without causing any damage to the house or property. Although I was originally told it would take two days, they completed the job within the day. They did an acceptable job of cleaning up after the trees were down and removed. The stump grinding crew came, as scheduled, two days afterward and ground out the stumps and even some of larger roots nearby. They also did a nice job of cleaning up. All the workers were very polite, pleasant. respectful, and considerate. Everything was done exactly according to contract. Lenk Tree Service would be my first choice for future work.

We turned to Lenk after we became frustrated with another tree service provider who was very unresponsive - Lenk came out within just a few days and left an estimate at the same time (the estimate was extremely reasonable and well below the other provider). They scheduled and completed the work in short order and with no fuss. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

There is nothing that I dislike. They are fast, courteous and do an excellent job.

Tammy was responsive in getting me a price; then fitting me in so we could get some other work done. Timely, good service, and very reasonable price. I would use them again.

Lenk Tree Service did a good job. They are reasonable. We are really happy with them. We have used them 4 times now. They are hard to get in touch with sometimes, but when they say they will come, they will come.

We have used this company in the past, and never had a problem. However, we will never use them again. We needed 8 trees removed and called to make an appointment for an estimate. First, they didn't show up for the estimate. I had to call the office and for some reason they lost our appointment. So, I had to reschedule. They finally came out and gave us an estimate. I discussed it with my husband, and we accepted the offer, signed it and faxed it in. A MONTH WENT BY with no contact! I faxed it again. I didn't want to be a pest because I knew that they were probably busy with all of the hurricane damage in the area, but we didn't even get a call. Then, my husband called them and they said that they would get back to us in 2 days to make an appointment to come out and remove the trees... they never called, again. I guess they don't need our business.

`Lenk was one of three companies I called to do some major pruning and sgrub removal. They arrived as scheduled and gave me an extimate on the spot. After getting two other comparable estimates I decided to go with another service provider based on comments Lenk made about how he would perform the work.

Was told an indivdual would be out in the morning on a given date. Stayed home from work to be available. By noon no one arrived so I called. Was told possible arrival around 2PM. Nobody showed up all day. Not even a phone call to say they would not be able to make it. Called the next day to cancel having them come out. They said the storm damage was high and that is why they couldn't make it out. I can understand, but it takes no effort to make a call and inform the client they can't make it. That is all that would have kept me as a potential customer. Not very profesional communications.

They called prior to the appointment to confirm and showed up on the day scheduled. They did the job while I was at work and did a great job of cleaning up. My next door neighbor commented on how efficiently they took down the trees, even though the trees were in between two houses. I was very happy with the price and the quality of their work. If I ever need another tree removed or trimmed, I'll definitely be calling Lenk's.

Work crew of 5 arrived promptly at the promised 7:30 AM time. Got to work immediately. Tree overhung many power, telephone and cable lines. Entire tree was removed without interrupting any of the services. In addition, I requested that a Russian Olive tree be topped. It was done immediately to my specification for an additional $20. The efficiency and speed along with care and professionalism of this crew has to be seen to be appreciated. I downgraded the responsiveness item because the scheduled date occurred about 2 months after I accepted the estimate. I was under the impression it would be 1 month. The stumps noted above were another matter. The individual came without prior contact on a day when no one was home. Even though the work order specified the stumps were in the front of the house, three other stumps were ground on the side of the house. When this was reported to Mrs. Lenk, she said she would have the guy return and do the correct stumps. That happened two days later.

They came in the morning and brought good crew of guys. It was hot. They worked hard and carefully to remove the trees. Cleaned up everything and were gone just after noon. A few days later they sent a guy back to remove the stumps. We were not home when the stumps were removed but the guy who did it stopped back afew days later to see if we were satisfied. Very professional. Excellent job. No complaints.

Fantastic! Every aspect surpassed my expectations. They even blew any debris off of the street to the point that the area was cleaner than before they pulled up. His guys did not slow down. They were like a machine. Another neighbor came over and commented how fast they got the job done.
