LENK TREE SERVICE

These guys are the worst tree service company in Central PA! They quoted me a year ago and said I would, “get locked in at that price.“ Now here it is a year later and they still haven’t taken my tree down despite me calling them on four separate occasions. They don’t even answer the phone! They are very dishonest and lie. I would never ever use these guys!

The crew arrived on the date promised. Familiar faces from work done 10 to 15 years ago. They asked for ongoing input from us regarding branches to be cut. Very cooperative, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient Nice clean up Excellent job We used Lenk in the past and we'll use them in the future if needed Only caution is that they are very busy, backlog of weeks or more

The crew did a great job. They took down the tree quickly clean up went great I would definitely recommend them for any trees you need removed

This was the first time I had contacted Lenk Tree Service for work needing done. The guys came out on the scheduled day around 11:30am to start the job. They had originally told me that they would be here around mid-day so they were very prompt with the estimated time. About 6-8 guy came and cut up the tree, chipped the branches, ground the stumps, and cleaned up the area in about 1.5 hours. I was very happy that there equipment did not damage my yard too badly considering that the yard still was soft from a wet spring. All in all I was very happy with their work and would call on them again in the future.

It was done very professionally, on time, the price was quite reasonable.

The ash tree, about 40 feet tall, was dead due to ash borer beetles. The maple, about 25 feet tall, was dying from something. Ash was about 10 feet from the house and maple was right at the back deck. Lenk came in right on time, 7:30 AM as promised, and had both trees down and cut up within two hours. Nothing fell where it wasn't supposed to. Smaller branches were all sent through a chipper, larger stuff was cut into manageable sections and left for firewood (my request), Entire yard was raked to get rid of any twigs. He was short handed that morning and didn't have a stump grinder with him but got one to the house and had both stumps ground to below grade before the end of the day. Would definitely recommend them.

Very well and they cleaned up everything!

Had a large white pine removed between our house and neighbors...tight space. They came early, very nice! Here about an hour and totally cleaned up and done. Very professional and friendly. Amazing how quickly they were able to take the large tree down and totally clean up.

Teamwork was impressively coordinated. They worked quickly & efficiently. Especially notable was their ability to remove the tree branches that had extended over the roof without ever touching the house. Price was very reasonable.

The Company gave me a fast estimate, their price was far more reasonable than the competition, and less than a week after I accepted the offer, the stump was gone. Everything looked nice and neat where the stump was removed. Overall, I'd say they did a fantastic job for the reasonable fee.

They arrived at 7:15am and we're cutting by 7:30 am Both trees were down stumps ground up n cleaned up by 4pm.

The crew arrived when we expected them. There were plenty of helpers, and the job went very smoothly. They used safety lines when climbing the trees, and looked like they were very experienced in their line of work. Everything in the back yard was cleaned up and carted away. They even blew the street clean from using the chipper. We would definitely recommend Lenk Tree Service and use them again.

Team of seven (7) tree removal experts showed up to get the job done, including the company owner. They were very careful not to damage the neighbors fence. They had the right equipment and skills to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They worked very well as a team, each knowing what to do and knowing what was going on around them. They had the tree cut down and cut up and the roots ground up within 2 hours. They did an excellent job in cleaning up. It was truly an amazing show watching them work. I would definitely recommend LenK Tree Service to anyone needing a tree removed from their property. The company manager and scheduler was also very nice to work with. I had a heath issue after I accepted Lenk to cut down my tree, and we also needed a few dry days before the tree could be cut down in order to avoid putting ruts in my neighbor's lawn (access point for their equipment) and my lawn. The company manager worked with me in selecting the right time for the job to be done.

The overall experience was great. We had a large maple tree that was too close to the house and needed to go. Due to the location of the tree it had to be climbed. (another company would only do the job if I let them drive their truck around my house through the back yard.) Lenk's crew showed up as scheduled, even with a chance of rain in the forecast. With two guys climbing the tree and another five on the ground, the crew worked very efficiently together. They had no issue safely removing the higher limbs that stretched over the neighboring houses. As requested they left all the wood in a pile, cut to fireplace lengths. Lenk was recommended to us by a neighbor and we will certainly recommend them to others. Thanks for a job well done!

In all about five to eight guys came including owner. They worked very steadly and were done in about one hour which included cleaning up yard of sticks etc. on day they cut down the trees. The next day the pa. one people came to make sure there were no pipes or wires underground that could get damaged. Lenk paid for this service and took care of calling and arranging that for us. Another company we had considered going with charged extra for that as well as wanting more than Lenk to do the whole job. The next day Lenk came back and removed the stumps and roots. The job was done in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone. They are very professional and we were impressed with all their trucks and equipment they used.

They came out several weeks ago and gave us an estimate that was one of the lower ones for the job. They were up front and advised that it would take a couple of weeks before they could get to the job, and we didn't mind. I appreciated that they were up front about it. I then received a call the week before giving me the day they would be out. On the day in question, I went to work and there were two large annoying trees in the font of my house. When I came home, they were gone. Other than some residual tree shredding that anyone who has used a stump grinder would recognize, it was if the trees were never there. The best part was that I didn't have to climb on anything, wear myself out with anything, or do anything for that matter. They did a nice job at a fair price. I even asked them to leave the wood (I have a co-worker who wanted it), and they left two nice piles, all cut into 18" pieces.

They were very fast and reasonably priced considering what others were charging. All-in-all good service and they did exactly what I asked and wanted. If I had another tree I wanted cut down, I'd call them again.

Lenk's arrived early morning on the day scheduled. They brought six guys and several trucks and pieces of equipment, including a large bucket truck that they used to trim the Bradford pear. The crew knows what they're doing. Within a few minutes of their arrival, the lower oak tree limbs were falling, and within 15 minutes the first oak tree was laying in the street. They worked very efficiently, and each guy knew his job. They were here and gone--three trees down, three others trimmed, and everything cleaned up--within just over two hours. The man who trimmed the Bradford pear did a beautiful job. Took the tree back all around by about 4 to 6 feet, and left it with a really nice shape. I'm sure when it leafs out in the spring it'll be perfect. One of the spruces they trimmed was next to our new Azek deck. They had to go up on the deck and also the roof, and they were very careful when moving the patio furniture and placing their ladder. The crew cleaned everything up very well, raking up all the leaves and small branches that fell. They also raked and rough graded out the areas where the trees were removed and stumps ground. The only things I had to clean up later were small branches that fell out of the Bradford pear after a spell of wind the next day, and some wood chips in the grass where they had ground stumps. The only thing I'd do differently is to ask them not to try to grind out as big an area around the stumps, which they did to try to get the surface roots. I'd have been happy with just the a few feet on either side of the stump. Two of these areas are between our sidewalk and curb, and I'll probably be reseeding, or sodding, that entire strip in the spring anyway, so no big deal, but it's something to consider if you're having this work done. I originally had three companies bid this job about a year ago, and the other two companies' bids were considerably higher than Lenk. When I decided to do the work this year, I called Lenk to confirm their bid and it was pretty much the same.

We had a situation with a tree that had split and was in danger of falling on to our neighbor's home. We called another highly rated tree service, but they were unable to schedule an estimate until the following week. Our second choice was Lenk Tree Service and they came out the same day as the phone call to provide an estimate. The next day, they removed the tree and the stump while we were at work.

It went very well. They were here less than 2 hours and had everything done and cleaned up. The crew was well organized and everyone seemed to know their job and kept right on moving. No wasted time or effort.

The job went smoothly even with less than desirable weather. The crew worked well together and had great comradery. The project progressed orderly and quickly. They were very considerate of my neighbors and cleaned the area up nicely. I would highly recommend them to others and my neighbors are actually using them soon for some of their work. Nicely done thanks!!!

They did a satisfactory job, were courteous and professional. My only other comment is that it is necessary to watch everything that they do and make sure they follow your directions. Otherwise, they will do what they think needs to be done in their opinion. We have used them in the past for other jobs and will not use them to prune any trees of shrubs. They are good for cutting down trees, removing stumps etc., but did not follow instructions when we had them prune a tree. As a result we had a monstrosity of a tree until it grew back the limbs that were pruned to much. Their prices are competitive with other companies in the area.

These guys were awesome and they were cordial. They're in the process of giving me a call back to take a look at another tree.

They responded in a timely manner to my need. They came when they said they would come. They did the work in a very timely manner (less than one day), and the clean up was excellent. I am so glad they were recommended to me, and I would not hesitate to call them again with any tree needs that I may have.

The job went very well. Everything was completed as discussed. Very happy.
