Pella Windows and Doors

Description of Work: Install new Windows in many rooms.

Description of Work: They installed 5 fiberglass Windows, and did interior trim and finish work for 3 of them. The Windows are beautiful and very efficient, and the installation was professional and timely. When one of the frames was scraped during installation, they replaced it without question.

Description of Work: Replaced two exterior doors and an interior fire rated door. Installation went smoothly, no issues; very pleased with the results.

Description of Work: I bought 5 new windows from Pella. I wasn’t sure a company that large would want to do such a small order, but they seemed happy to help! The guy who came out was very informative, educational, and did not push me at all. He was one of the reasons I chose this company. The installers were clean and everything was immaculate.

Description of Work: We purchased 8 replacement windows. From start to finish they were very professional and answered any questions we had. They weren't the cheapest company but in our opinion had the best product in that price range. We inherited windows from another window company when we bought the house and we prefer the Pella windows over the others. We would definitely buy Pella windows again in the future if needed.

Nothing for me to do or to worry about. |Expensive but gorgeous and ready to go. Most people did not realize we had replaced our old windows with new because Pella was able to match things so well.

Description of Work: I had windows installed through out my house. The windows are a casement design. I have only one complainant, I hate the window screens. They use a push pin/spring to install them. Half of the window screens push pins were broken, The company did replace all the window screens for me at no charge. I feel this is a design error in order to save money. I am afraid to install these screens for fear the push pins will break off. Look at this feature closely before you make your decision. If I had known this, I would not have ordered this particular window. Other than that, I have no complaint with the windows or the company.

The Pella window are excellent and the service and professionalism is top notch. Dave Hannon, the sales person, is extremely professional and accommodating.

Description of Work: I had Pella Windows installed on 2 separate instances, February 2012 and May 2012. All double-hung Impervia line, 13 in total. I loved the windows, but within months after being installed I noticed water marks around the windows. I contacted the original installer twice, which was a certified Pella installer, but a sub-contractor. He came to my house and re-caulked around the windows and told me that the J-Channel was installed incorrectly which was why they were leaking. The leaks continued. I attempted to contact the local Pella dealer and the line was disconnected. I finally contacted the home office in Iowa and only after that did someone from my area contact me. The issues started in 2012 and finally in July 2014 did I get someone's attention. They sent 2 different people, one of which was a supervisor to look at the issue. In August 2014 they sent 2 very nice men to pull a window out and look to see what the issue was. Low and behold, the initial installer that told me the J-Channel was installed improperly, cut thru the J-Channel when he installed the new windows causing them to leak. Pella had to pull out 8 of the 13 windows installed, the remaining 5 were under a porch roof, replace all the J-Channel, re-insulate, re-install and re-trim 8 windows. The 2nd installers were very nice and did a great job, but it took me 2 years to convince someone that there was an issue. Pella might carry a great product, but many of their installers are sub-contractors that are substandard. A certified installer needs to install in order for the warranty to be valid, but quality is just not there. I now have an issue with one of the newly installed windows, it has come loose in the frame and I just hate the thought that I need to start this process again.

Description of Work: Replaced exterior entrance door to garage.They are alittle more expensive but quality is what we are looking for. We've purchased other pella products in the past and like the products and service pella provides.
