Description of Work: Came on time. Told me what they were going to do and look for on the roof. Fixed where ice was backing under the shingles near the gutter from the weather. Sealed around vents that needed it. Said roof was in good condition. Checked the roof over. I was satisfied with this purchase.

They were very professional and they workmen were polite and on time. I have received many compliments on the work. I was very pleased and satisfied.

Description of Work: Roof inspection. Checked various parts of roof , chimney and gutters. I was given a very complete report on my roof's condition and how long it may last before I need a new one.i was provided with their estimate for a new roof installation. Very pleased with all aspects of this provider .

Description of Work: MINNICK was hired to inspect my roof and provide me a status report, recommendations for repairs, etc. Getting them to come to my house was very difficult. I would call and ask when I can expect someone, the person on the phone would say let me check the schedules and call you back. A week would pass without any call back. After a week I would call them again and ask for an update, they then scheduled a date for the next week but said we will call to confirm a day before. A week or so went by, I heard nothing; no confirmation or anything that indicated that had come and done the work. Again I had to call to track them down and finally, after multiple phone calls and waiting someone came to my house. However, I did not know that they came because I was not home and did not get a phone call or email with any confirmation work was complete or the report that they were required to submit. Again, I had to ask via emails and phone calls for them to send me the report.

Description of Work: They had to delay doing the work for weeks because of the weather and that was ok with us since roof work in cold weather is not a good idea. The gentleman that came out was very nice and wielded the tall ladders by himself to get on the roofs. We had him do two houses on the same street, ours and a rental of ours. He walked all the roofs and said he caulked flashing but that the shingles were too brittle on both houses to do any patching and recommended that both houses be roofed this year. He spent less than an hour on each house. The offer mentioned more time than that. He made an assessment of condition on a short checklist of gutters, flashing and roofing most of which we already suspected. He said someone from the company would contact us about giving us pricing for new roof work. We received an e-mail months after the inspection to ask if we wanted any roof work done. We had hoped that the money we spent for the inspection and minor repairs would also have resulted in options and pricing for new roofing at the time of the inspections or soon after. This was supposed to be a discount for the inspection and minor repairs. We do not feel the discounted price was reasonable for the time spent with less work done due to the cold weather and/or roof condition and would have been even more upset if we had paid full price. This would have been an ideal opportunity to give us a bid and expected it especially since so little repairs could be done. The little work and short time spent would not have bothered us if we had been given prompt followup and better yet options for replacement and pricing. We went into this with every intention of giving this company a chance at our business for new roofs if they had followed through.

Description of Work: They inspected our roof, which is what the deal was for. They did a bit of caulking in a few places and gave us their opinion on when we will need to replace the roof. This was a deal for a roof inspection/troubleshooting. I was a bit disappointed because my main motivation was that we have periodic leaking of rain water into one room in our house. The problem is not the windows. So I had the serviceman take a look at the spot, and he felt it wouldn't leak this winter. But it did.
