We experienced a roof leak as a result of damage from a winter ice dam. After researching different roofing contractors, I found this company on Angie's List. I contacted Minnick Home Solutions to come to our home to inspect the roof, determine the problem and give us an estimate. Tom was wonderful to work with!!! He is extremely professional, polite and reliable. They came to our home and after determining the damage, corrected the problem for us on the spot. With all the rain we've had recently, it was very much appreciated!!! I would recommend this company to anyone in need of roofing repairs. We would definitely use them in the future!!!

Overall the experience went very well. Tom was very professional, and very knowledgeable, as well as very easy going and easy to talk to. Highly Recommended.

They gave me an estimate in December, but we decided to postpone the work for a time. When I got in touch a few months later to see if they were still willing to do the work, they responded immediately and were able to do the work later that week. Very professional.

It was excellent. Tom (the owner) was the first person to actually respond to my phone calls looking for a roofer, despite being at the tail end of his vacation for his 5-year anniversary. I explained the situation to him, and he graciously agreed to come out for an estimate on New Years Day. He showed up with one of his employees and quickly went about his work, and provided me an assessment of the roof. It was obvious I knew little about roofing, but his estimate explained the entire situation to me honestly and he provided me with what I felt was an incredibly reasonable price. I had 3 leaks in the house, and several shingles ripped off, and he repaired the missing shingles as well as caulked several nails and did some basic repairs to our chimney. All of this was done immediately, while he was still there, for only 400 dollars. I waited until the first very heavy snowfall (about 6 inches) and checked for more leaking, and found none. I was extremely satisfied with the service and will certainly use Minnick Home Solutions for any future home repair needs, whether they be roofing or not.

Our new house had a very old and badly leaking roof on the detached 2-car garage. We got 4 or 5 estimates for replacement. After sending an email through Angie's list, Tom Minnick contacted me promptly by phone to set up a date/time for the estimate. He said he would later like to set up a meeting to discuss their findings, their recommendation, and the price. During the meeting, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to, and professional. In addition to that, Minnick Home Solutions was by far the best price for the work and the materials they would be using. It was an easy decision to choose them. Originally before we hired them, they said they would not be able to do the work for another month to month and a half. The day we signed the contract, Tom Minnick said they had an opening and would like to come and do the work the next day. Due to weather, they dropped all materials off the next day and performed the work the following day instead. The replaced the roof while we were at work and were very pleased with the result when we got home. They cleaned up all the roof and shingle debris very very well (we were surprised at how well since the shingles literally shattered when you touched them they were so brittle). The quality and appearance of the roof was also great! We are very happy and will keep them in mind for when the house roof also needs to be replaced.

They were very proffesional and it was nice to talk to the people one of whom would be supervising the work (no sales man). Their quote for the roof replacement is very competitive. Their knowledge was very confidence building. I am still considering who will do my roof replacement, but I thought they were very good to work with on the patch and appreciate their efforts. They are the only people to provide a quote so far that actually went on the roof to inspect it to help determine the current condition and what is needed.
