Mike arrived on time, introduced himself, and went to work. Following the inspection, he provided a clear assessment of his findings and patiently answered all of my questions. I was impressed with his expertise and personable demeanor. I will likely continue to work with this company.

It turned out great. They came and gave us an estimate and we went back and forth on the estimate. They had some creative ideas to fix our roof and we had done an addition and I don’t think the person that did that took into account the slope of the roof so when we have storms or heavy rains, it backs up and we have serious problems. The guy was helpful; he took a lot of pictures and showed us why we were getting the leaks. So they were very thorough. They came on Monday to start the work but we had a very bad storm but they brought all the equipment, got everything set up and they came back Tuesday and Wednesday and finished it. They cleaned everything up. They couldn’t have been nicer. They started out with four guys and ended up with two guys but they were really good. The original price was $8000 and then we got a couple of different estimates and when my husband spoke to the owner, they went back and forth a couple of times so I am not sure what they agreed up on. We had other roofers come and tell us that the job is too small, it is not all new and these guys at least came, saw, took pictures and did the job. We had rains this morning, there are no leaks, and previously we had leaks. They were here bright and early every morning between 6.30 and 7.00. I leave the house at 6.15 and I pass them coming up the road, so they were very punctual. They swept everything every night before they left and the roof looks good.

I thought they did a nice job. So far no more leaks in the roof. They also gave me a written estimate for the removal of my old roof and the installation of a new roof. I am completely pleased and satisfied.

This is the second time I've used this group and again, they did a fantastic job. I moved into a new home and the front steps didn't have a railing. I had the railing installed and it is absolutely gorgeous! They matched my columns perfectly and improved the look of the entrance. I also needed outlets in my kitchen. The kitchen came with 2 outlets for only 2 plugs. Well, one plug was taken by the stove's electric starter and the other one had one taken up by the refrigerator. I had those expanded to 4 each and then 2 outlets installed on the opposite wall by the kitchen island. Everything is perfect! The kitchen is now serviceable!

In my dealing so far, there is some expectations mismatch and communication problem. A follow up is scheduled for this week. I appreciate the owner reaching out to check on the issue and promised to correct the problem. I am pretty confident that the issue will be resolved. I will post the updated the review once the issue is resolved.

After several encounters with other roofers that either did not return calls, were unprofessional and only wanted to rip off the insurance company by claiming hail damage that we did not have or who gave an unreasonably high estimate, I finally turned to Angie's list and found Minnick. They returned my call initial call quickly, were professional and seemed like they knew what they were talking about. It did take a little prompting to get their estimate after several days, but we were very pleased with the proposal and they completed the work the next day after giving me their bid. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Punctual, efficient, thorough, communicated very well, organized, and friendly. Everything was first rate from the day the evaluation of the project was done, estimate was provided, contract was signed and through to the cleanup after the project was completed. Great Job!

I called Minnick at 8:00 am on 6-12-2013. Was told the person that I needed to speak with was out on a job and would be back in the office around 10:00 am. I received a return call at 10:00 am from Tom. We discussed what work I needed done. He quoted me a prce and said he had crews working in my area and would see if he could pull one of his guys off of that job to work on my house. 10 minutes later Tom called me back to tell me a crew was on its way. When Mike arrived, he asked where the problems were and went right to work. He did a thorough and professional job. From the first phone call to completion of the job was 3 hours. Fantastic service!! Mike and his helper were friendly, professional,and courteous. I can not say enough good things about Minnick Home Solutions. I would recommend them to anyone.

I left 3 messages to confirm and got no response . He never showed for the rescheduled appointment or called to follow up.

I purchased the roof maintenance package for $199 and contacted Tom and he came out. He repaired several bad spots on the roof. I told him about the leak in my bedroom. He looked at the ceiling that had fallen and then he looked at the roof. He then wanted to go to the attic and he looked at the window opening in the dormer. He said that he believed my leak was because of the dormer and it was his suggestion to either put a window in it or close it up. I chose closing it up. I asked him to give me an estimate. Within a week, he got the estimate to me and I approved that. Within a week of that, they were here and from the photo's they took, I could tell they did an excellent job. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Out of all the companies I called for an estimate, Minnick Home Solutions LLC was the only company to call me back, that were interested in doing a small job. He called me and we negotiated a price. I agreed to the price. He said he'd have someone here the next morning and his guys were here at 8:00 a.m. and within an hour, they were done.

I called for them to come give me an estimate on my roof. They came out took, pictures and said that they would email me an estimate. They never did. I called and was told that it would be done over the weekend. Still no estimate and it has now been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from Minnick Home Solutions

What can I say? It was smooth sailing start to finish. The job was completed per the contract.

Contacted Minnick Home Solutions in April based on a neighbor hiring them to replace their roof. Tom Minnick returned our call the next day and stopped by a few days later. Tom was on time and professional. He e-mailed the quote to us a promised. After another meeting on work scope & price, we signed the contract. Tom indicted that he would not get here to mid June because of his work load and that start date was in contract. We e-mailed several times about shingle color and he created photos of our house with different shingles... very helpful. The dumpster showed up on the start day and the crew the next day. Very professional crew-- cleaned up every night. After the first day or so the crew size was reduced and roof replacement took a little over a week, slightly longer than expected. We had two separte issues which were fixed within two days of us notifying him. Now 3+ months later...very satsified.

overall I called on a Tuesday afterneen,talked to Tom and he said he would be out Wednesday in the morning at 9am to look at the job.He called about 8am on Wednesday and asked if he could be earlier. He came about 8:15am. He asked what needed done and I showed him the gutter and the vent. He had said he charged a minimum for a job like that but his minimum was more than I wanted to pay, we dickered on a price and agreed to it. He said he would be out Thursday or Friday to do the work. I received a call from him on Wednesday evening that he would have two guys at my place about 9am Thursday morning.His guys called Thursday at 7:30am and said they would be there by 8am. They showed up with a bill to explain what they would do , started the job immediately and were done in an hour . I checked out the job after they left and they broke no shingles , replaced the vent cover calked the whole job ,rehung the gutter with new hangers and sloped it to drain and resealed the gutter on both ends.I was very happey with the price and the results.

They did a wonderful job. He's very nice and polite. They did a very good, very conscientious job; what I didn't like they fixed right away. Everything turned out very well, I am happy with them.

We hired Minnick home solutions initially to repair a leak on the roof and were very pleased with their work. We hired them again to re-do our roof. They are professional and have an EXCELLENT work ethic. Our roof was in horrible condition (previous owners placed new roofing on old roofing) and had been causing us a lot of problems. We had a huge leak that went into our bedroom. They have scheduled 5 days to finish the job but it was in such a poor shape that it took them about 2 weeks. During the installation a window from a neighbor was damaged and they fixed it and it looked impeccable after they were done with it. The final bill was not far off from the initial estimate. Dealing with Tom , the owner, he always showed up on time, always returned our calls and always made arrangements to work within our schedule and addressing our needs. He is incredibly professional, courteous and prompt. We asked a few companies to look at our roof before hiring Minnick HS and all none of them followed through. Would hire them again without hesitation.

I called Minnick Home Solutions and left a message requesting a quote on the project. Tom Minnick returned my call the same day and set up an appointment to inspect the existing roof, discuss what I had in mind and offer some suggestions. Tom sent me a quote a few days later that included an itemized list of the cost of all the material and labor he estimated it would take to complete the project. After I contacted Tom to inform him that I accepted his bid he came by with a contract which spelled out the entire scope of the project including all of the materials to be used for every detail and a payment schedule to get the project completed. The crew arrived on the day specified to start the job. All plantings and shrubbery around the house were covered to minimize damage while the old roofing materials were being removed. The old roofing was cleaned up and hauled away in a timely manner. The job did take longer than anticipated but this was primarily due to inclement weather, several days of rain and thunderstorms. One problem did present itself during the time the old shingles were removed and the new ones were completely in place. During one of the thunderstorms a leak occurred which caused some minor cosmetic damage in the master bedroom. I called Tom during the storm when the leak was noticed and someone was there to assess the problem and correct it within thirty minutes of me making the call. Yes, he was on the roof during a major downpour to fix the leak and minimize the damage. This cosmetic damage was repaired, it was actually just a bit of spackle and painting that needed to be done. The paint matches perfectly and it is absolutely impossble to detect the repaired area. The rest of the project went smoothly. The crew conducted themselves in a consciensious and professional manner. Tom made certain that we were completely satisfied with the finished product before requesting the final payment. I received three bids on this project which were very competitive. I chose Minnick Home Solutions because they were highly rated on Angie's List and presented themselves as the most professional out of the three. One of the other bids was just an estimate done in about five minutes after the inital inspection was completed and written on a sheet from a note pad. The other was an e-mail with just the estimated overall cost. I liked the way Tom Minnick itemized everthing on the quotation. I also was impressed by the way Tom responded to any questions or concerns that came up during the project. I would highly recommend Minnick Home Solutions to anyone contemplating any type of home remodeling or repair. I would descibe them as craftsmen who take pride in their work and strive to make sure the customer is completely satisfied.

Contracted to repair leaking roof. After repairs, the roof still leaked in the same spot. After approx. 4 weeks after contacting contractor that roof still leaked, contractor came and repaired roof again. After a couple of big rains, roof was not leaking, sent contractor the balance of his pay. Contractor apologied for the delay in responding.

I contacted Minnick Home Solutions on 9/12/2011 about a ceiling repair. The person I spoke to on the phone (the owner, I believe) was very cordial and we made arrangements for people to come to my home early the following morning. I had to adjust my work schedule for this, but was glad to do so if it meant getting the repair accomplished. Nobody showed up the next morning and nobody called to offer an explanation. After waiting over an hour past the scheduled time, I called and left a message asking if anyone *would* be coming. I have yet to receive a response to that message.

We had a leak in our roof which was coming into our bedroom. It was quite dangerous considering there was a live wire being exposed to the leak. They answered our call within a few hours to set up a time to send someone out the next day to take a look. They arrived on time, took care of the leak promptly and were very pleasant and professional. We asked for them to do an estimate on fixing the entire roof, which they promptly did. We got an estimate int the mail which was very detailed and at a very reasonable price. We were very pleased with the company and the repair of our leak, their professionalism and promptness.

I contacted them because I liked the reviews on Angie’s List. The salesperson was very cordial and he seemed knowledgeable about what he was talking about.
