Purchase a deal for inspection and maintenance. They called and came out right away. Mike was very nice and helpful. Fixed a few areas that I was concerned with. I needed extra work that I knew would be outside of the scope of the package deal that I bought. Very happy with the quality of the work. TJ was the second person to come out and he was very nice, professional and took his time to assess the problem and fix and area of excessive runoff, diverted water away from the foundation by adjusting and repairing a gutter. I am waiting for an estimate for a chimney cap and fully expect to use them for that project as well. Very happy with them and would recommend.

The young man who came out to look over the roof was very thorough, but found nothing significant on the exterior,just a few minor things. Since I had been having some leak problems in a ceiling inside, I explained the problem and he noted it, and went into the crawl space to see what evidence he could find. He reported a couple of things to me and, based on those, I contacted the company to give me an estimate on what it would take to fix the problem, as their rep reported it to them. They gave me a price, but it didn't cover everything that another company had recommended. After I asked a few questions about what the repairs covered, he gave me a revised estimate with a higher price. I then asked more questions about that bid, and the owner came out and went over the roof while I filled him in on the history of the problem. This resulted in an even higher bid. I've yet to make a decision; and am waiting for another company that I had bid on the problem last year to come out and reassess the situation, and give me an updated bid. Unfortunately, that person has difficulty getting back to people on a timely basis so I may have to look for a third bid. NOTE: I am not really sure if I will use this company, based on the fact that they gave me three different, and increasingly higher, bids on roof work. Therefore, I have marked a "no" by the that question.

When I called I described the work I need to have performed and was told to give my name and number and Mike would call me the next day.. The next day Mike called me and we set a date for him to make the repairs. He told me that their minimum was $169 and that would be the charge for a small repair job such as mine. On the day he was supposed to come to the house, he called to let me know he was on his way. As it was raining I asked if he'd rather wait for dry weather. He said that, in spite of the rain, he was still willing to come out and do the work. I told him I didn't want him or anyone in danger on wet roor. We set a new date and time. Again he called to let me know he was on his way and arrived when he said he would. He was very polite and pleasent. He was done in about 20 minutes, left no debris and, from what I could see from the ground did nice work. The cost was just what he'd said it would be. It's very difficult to get somone to do small repair jobs, no matter what the trade, so I was very happy with not only the work done, but also Mike's responsiveness. A very professional experience.

Went very well. The problem was identified and addressed quickly. A subsequent heavy shower confirmed the success of the repair work. Plan to use this service again to install a new skylight.

They were on the job when they said they would be. They listened to my description of problems. They were fast and efficient. The price was a little high, but not bad.

Everything went as planned. The appointment was scheduled within a week, work was performed, a leak from the flashing around an exhaust fan was repaired. It was a very professional job.

He came on time and date as stated. Did an evaluation of the roof and determined repairs needed. Also showed me pictures of areas with damage on his iPad. Took care of the problem very efficiently. We had a hard rain the next day and there were no leaks! I would call this company again as I discovered they do other work on houses. Very pleased with their work!

I had a couple of asphalt shingles that had blown off from my two-story home that needed replaced. I decided to go ahead and buy the big deal roof maintenance package and get the shingles replaced as well as other general upkeep (caulking nail heads, checking flashing, etc) I was promptly contacted and he showed up on time for the scheduled appointment. He was very courteous and told me what he would do. He went up on the roof and inspected everything and took pictures with his tablet of the problem areas. He showed me the pictures then went back up and performed the caulking, etc. He also applied some weatherproof liner where the shingles were missing. He needed to then buy some replacement shingles and told me he would be back to replace the missing shingles asap. Since he was coming from the opposite side of Pittsburgh, he said it might take a couple days before he could be back but that I didn't have to be present when he finished the work. A couple days later, he called me and told me that he had been to my house and was going to replace the shingles but when he got up there he saw that the ones he had bought were not a perfect match -- the tablet photo color was off apparently. So he let me know that he was going to go back and get a better color match and then he would finish the job. Two days later he came out again and put the two cap shingles and one regular shingle up. He only asked for another $40 over the big deal price for all that extra driving around he did to get it right, including the cost of the new shingles. I am impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that I observed.

It went well. The guy was very nice and prompt though he did arrive about an hour early. Otherwise all was good. I would use them again.

It was difficult to get communication from the company after I purchased the $199 deal from Angie's List on 9/17/13. The communications were to have been made on the message tab on Angie's List. When the first service day was rained out, I was notified of a second service day, 9/26/13, with no indication of approximate time. I happened to be home when the service provider came. He apologized that he tried to contact me, but in actuality he did not even have my phone numbers on the service sheet. That would be the fault of the Minnick office, most likely, but I didn't appreciate the implication that it was somehow my fault that he couldn't contact me. As far as I know, he performed the small repairs he said he did. He did give some advice about how to deal with possible leaking in the brick and mortar of an old chimney we have.

They were great. They responded right away to our initial request. They came out within a week. Justin was punctual and used his time wisely. He was here about 30 minutes, but was up and down multiple times. We had a few questions, so he would go check it out then come down to let us know. Then we'd send him back up with more questions. They have also given us a very reasonable quote for some chimney caps which we are going to go with.

was quick to deliver the services offered in the deal. kind of slow in getting the formal report, but when it was received it was more than expected - concise, specific details of findings and (fortunately) no additional repairs needed at this time.

They responded quickly and came out right away to do a roof inspection and patch a leak. They were very professional and knowledgeable on the phone. We received an estimate for a more permanent repair.

They let us know our roof was fine. They are going to send us a check for a refund as they had two Big Deals going at the same time and the other deal was less expensive. They let us know our roof was in good condition and it had at least another 10 years left on it, this of course made us very happy. They got with us right away after we purchased the Big Deal.

It took a few weeks to get it scheduled but we were not in a hurry and a bit out of their normal service area, so no complaints there. The repairman was actually early (which we liked) and got right to work. He examined our rubber roof and then made minor repairs as needed. He also found our chimney cap to be unsealed and took care of that. We are very pleased with the work. Even though we used an Angie's List coupon this time we would definitely call them again.

Went well. I was able to get a same day appointment. Communication was good. Good follow up by owner after his employee was at our house with suggestions and estimates. If we decide to get any work done on our roof that was suggested we will contact the team at Minnick Home Solutions.

I've called them multiple times and haven't heard back from them.

Nothing was ever done. After I spoke with him, he was supposed to come by and look at the roof on Monday, September 9th. I never saw him come out, and after a couple days went by I decided to contact him and ask why I hadn't seen him. He claimed that he had already come by and that he had a report that he was going to send me. After about a week or so went by, I still hadn't heard anything. I called him back, and he eventually gave me a generic estimate for a full roof replacement. There is no indication or evidence of him ever showing up in the first place. I even emailed him yesterday voicing my complaint that he never showed up. It is now 4:30 PM and I still haven't heard back from him.

He called and was very early, which was a plus for me. He surveyed the situation, and discovered the solution to the ptoblem. He got equipment from his truck and came back and fixed the problem (I think he did; the next long rain will tell the tale). He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. He was clean and neat. I will ask for him again if I ever need a roofer.

Well done? Called to confirm appointment next day; called to re-schedule due to truck breakdown. Arrived when scheduled; got no answer at door, and called just in case somebody was at home instead of leaving. Asked if there were any specific problems, and I pointed out the source of a recently discovered couple of leaks. Justin was unobtrusive, quiet and quickly did what he was called for. After he put the ladder on the truck, I remembered the loose shutter screws; he retrieved the ladder and secured the loose screws in about 10 minutes or less. The whole service call took less than an hour as I recall.

. OK. The guy inspected my roof. When he was finished he said he caulked a few nail holes and nailed down a few loose shingles. He said someone would contact me with further details. Almost 2 months later I am still waiting for for those details. I called, left a message and never got a return call.

Guys were on time, fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. Still waiting for report and estimate, but job was done just last Friday.
