Mike started job but couldn't do correctly, Tom sent Bobby (a Brit) who was simply outstanding. Bobby's knowledge and skill of 46 years proved that he knew what he was doing. Outstanding job!

They came out right away, did their inspection, fixed the shingles and caulked a few areas. Quick, easy, good service. This Big Deal was a great deal for us. I'm sure I'd call Minnick first next time I need any roofing work.

They are unreliable, and have poor workmanship. I purchased the deal on February 7th and it took them two weeks to contact me. He priced the job and then never heard from them. I had to call them to get this set up. Their follow up has been horrible. They made a mess of my house and the project.

Contractors were on time and were very knowledgeable. The problem was that I needed smaller tile -- not the size that was listed in your ad (8x8 or 12x12). I needed 4x4 or smaller. That would have involved more labor. After I received their estimate for job, I could not afford the extra money needed to do the job. I did not use the services of the vendor. I don't know the coupon code or order number.

Everything went well. Crew made sure to bring landscaping back into shape. This winter I noticed leaking from elbow joints connecting gutters to downspouts. Also, as snow melted seems on gutters leaked. I will need to seal all those seams and joints this spring.

They told that they don't fix any existing issues with the roof as it is a maintenance package and I have to pay extra for 2 missing shingles and caulking and 1 ft down spell and charged me $250 ($149) I would have done the same for less with some contractor. Above was a type, I corrected it, but to replace 2 missing singles 250 good, not sure what was included with roof maintenance package. Also I was told that they are going to leave the left material, that was purchased with the amount I was billed, they didn't e even leave that material that I paid for and also I asked for a chimney cap before scheduling that inspection that was also not taken care. This was a bad choice I made.

I had a good experience with Minnick. I bought a roof inspection and maintenance package through Angie's List. When I called to schedule, Vince was courteous and professional. He and was able to put me on the schedule for the day of the week I requested. I had seen in several other reviews, that some customers were upset to find the roofers had come and gone without their knowing so I requested that the roofers call me before they arrived. They were happy to do that and called me when they were about 15 minutes away. A team of two roofers arrived, Justin introduced himself, listened to my concerns and told me what they would be doing. After the work was completed, he gave me a report of the maintenance done, general condition of the roof and a couple of potential problem spots to watch - as well as advice on what to do if problems did arise.

I was very pleased with the overall experience with this company. Both the office people and the on site workers were very professional and responsive in their dealings with me. They did a great job. The floor looks great and the backsplash makes the bathroom look much better. No problem with the toilet installation either. The guys that came to the house were friendly, competent and professional and they worked well together. They also cleaned everything up before they left. We had one problem with a tile that was not set properly on the first day and they took it out the next day and reset it without an issue (it had to do with an unseen defect in the underfloor). Everything else went according to the plan that they mapped out prior to arriving on day one. I had no experience with this company before I saw the deal on Angie's list but am very glad that I purchased it. Overall I give this company high marks and would use them again in the future. Highly recommend.

The overall treatment that I got from the owner of Minnick Home Solutions LLC really stood out. He's not only the owner, but he's the job foreman and so forth. I had very little or no communications problems with him. He'll get you the answer to your questions or problems within eight hours. They were very professional when they came out, they were very professional and friendly. I had no qualms about anything that they have done, especially when it comes to any changes I might need for roofing. Because I have a low-pitched roof, it was getting close to the point where shingles might be out of the question and that a roll-type of flat roof was better. He was very upfront and discussed it with me, to give me options. I sent him an email, telling him I saw water marks on the ceiling and asked him if the roof could be leaking. Within a day, he had someone sent out here to look at it and they were able to check that the stain was old and not due to the roof or anything else leaking. So he is very quick to respond to your needs. They definitely rate an "A" with me.

The provider sent two men who repaired the fallen gutter for the price that was agreed plus $100 to replace some damaged wood behind the gutter. The gutter has held through this hard winter so I would say the work was successful.

Provider was late, although he did inform me he was going to be late. I thought the discount was fake because one hour of his time should not have cost me $162 at the discounted price. The regular price at $ 350 was too much for a one hour job, especially in the Pittsburgh area. Overall, he did a good job because I have not had any leaks so far. Touch wood!

Job was performed in a day & a half. The new tile floor was beautifully done. Clean up was very good. The workers as well as the salesman (Vince) very polite.

The contractor himself was very nice and quite honest. It did seem like there were a lot of hidden costs. The company also does mainly roofs but was looking for a way to keep the guys busy during the cold months. We are not interested in being a part of the learning process. Vince was also unable to provide any references because they hadn't done any tiling jobs yet. We like references.

They only had 8 in. tiles for the backsplash installation. They rescheduled 3 different times. The first time he didn't realize he was late, the second time he had missed something else and was not able to make his appointment, and the third time he called at 6pm and informed me he would not be able to make the appointment until 7pm, and at 7:25 he called and said he could meet now, but we already had other plans.

The service turned out good. The site was very clean afterwards and they were nice folks to work with.

I met with installer and he said he could do my job without a problem and gave me a card to go see a dealer to pick out tile. I did that the same day I met with him and e-mailed him the details. He also said I could have extra charges added on if I wanted "extras" done. I told him I understood - I purchased a big deal on Angie's List for a bathroom contractor and he gave me an allowance for all my fixtures. When I went above the allowance, I paid the difference. Thought I could work the same way here, but no. He proceeded to "update" my estimate which more than triple the original cost! He said it was because I picked out a small mosaic tile and not the size tile listed on the big deal. I told him I understood, but I wanted a breakdown of exactly what I was paying for. He did not split out the labor and material charges and added on extra for cleanup and some other miscellaneous items. Before the extras, he listed over $1,000.00 just for tile/installation. The Big Deal said it was to cover the installation that is why I wanted a breakdown for the "extra" charge he referred to. He also told me he hadn't got a price from the tile business with the price of the tile, but the day I was there, the salesman told me it was $10/sqr foot. I wanted him to sit down with me and breakdown all the charges including the square footage. I had the area remeasured and was told I only have 24 - 25 square foot for the backsplash, but Minnick says 28. I thought the deal was for up to 40 square foot so I should have saved a little there. He kept telling me that Angie's List sets the parameters for these deals and he goes along with it and adds as necessary. He sure does! I contacted him via e-mail 3 days ago at his personal e-mail; he said he didn't like going thru Angie's List for the e-mail because it took too long. To date - no response. He made sure to toot his own horn while at my house - said he will be very responsive to all customers to make sure everyone is satisfied. I was more than willing to sit down with him and go over things to see if we can work it out, but he has not replied. I don't trust him at this point, and my husband feels as though he has padded the estimate. When I checked his past history on Angie's List - I saw that his lack of response was a reason many people would not hire him back. The cost of this "big deal" has already been deducted from my checking account. I trusted this as a "big deal" because it was on Angie's List. VERY DISAPPOINTED. THIS CONTRACTOR DOES NOT BELONG ON ANGIE'S LIST.

We received a notice detailing that the service was performed, but didn't receive the details until a month later. I had to email them and ask for the report on the health of our roof. The service seemed thorough, but the finished report seems to be the only hiccup.

Our experience with them went well. I had a positive experience with the people I came in contact with.

It was fine. They expected the roof and they were on time.
