I did not hire this company

I spoke with a gentleman from Minnick on 4/18 regarding a kitchen backsplash project. I was told that I would receive a call back during the week of 4/21 to schedule an estimate visit. During the week of 4/28 I received a voicemail from a woman stating that they were too busy to take on my project. Around 5/9 I received a call from a gentleman stating he was hired to help with the backlog of work at Minnick. I was promised a call the following week to schedule an onsite appointment for the estimate. As of 5/27, I still have not heard back from anyone at Minnick.

Vince and Dan were terrific. They were a pleasure to deal with and they were very professional and cleaned-up every day when they finished. They did a great job for me.

This is a very terrible experience. I purchased this deal back to 02/07/2014. After that, tried to contact the provider tons of times to get the job done, but either no response at all, or get very late response that they still not ready. It is really a nightmare. Finally I decided to give up and get my money back. I would not recommend this provider to anyone, if they don't take serious steps to correct their business operation. Dave

They came out on time and performed the inspection as specified in the deal, but I never received a report on the roof's condition as they had promised. What's more is that I contacted them a few times about the report and some additional work that I wanted to have done, but they never followed up on either of these issues.

When I bought the package, I specifically emailed the company and asked them to call me in advance of when they were coming out. I had a few roof shingles that needed nailed down as they were lifting from wind and wanted to be sure that I would be home to show where the shingles were that needed attention. I came home from work one day and learned that they had just showed up, called about 20 min before showing up to say they were on the way. I'm not sure what they did. Shingles were never addressed. I called to complain. Mgr said he would send out another guy to help with shingles. No one ever contacted me again after that and shingles were not fixed. I would not suggest using this company.

We called several times to set up an appointment, as we were never contacted. Were finally told there was a death in the family and schedules are very busy. We were told we would be called when they figured out their availability. We still are waiting and found someone else to complete the job.

I got a hold of them via email. He sent me one email back to schedule an appointment. I said that I would be available anytime. I told them to leave me a note when they wanted to come. I never ever heard from them again. I never got a quote from them. They weren't responsive. I would not use them again in the future.

It seems to be holding up okay. I haven’t had any issues. It was a special through Angie's List. It was a good price. They came the day when they said they would. It would have been nice if they did it in the evening. They did it in the day when I was at work. They were good over the phone.

This was a Angies Deal coupon deal. Initial appointment was missed due to original technician being on the far side of Westmoreland county and our house being in Mt. Lebanon. It was rescheduled for following week. The technician completed all work within the coupon value and for that I think it was a great deal despite the scheduling delay. Thank you.

Purchased the service offer from Angie's List website to get someone to look and repair a small leak around a roof vent. After two re-scheduled appointments due to Minnick scheduling issues, they finally came out to look at the roof - nearly two months after I had purchased the deal. I was not home during their visit - they told me they "temporarily" fixed the leak, we should be dry through the winter. It was clearly a temporary solution, as there was plastic sheeting sealed on the roof over the area of work. They told me they would provide a write-up of the work they did, along with an estimate to permanately fix the issue (about a 5x5 foot repair of the roof). After two weeks of not receiving any follow up information, I called and was told they were very busy, my information was in a pile of estmates waiting to be written, but I would hear from them soon. Months later, I still have not received any follow up information. Our roof did make it through the winter without issue, but I will be contacting another vendor to follow up on the temporary work that was provided.

Workers were prompt, professional and did good work. The contact person, however, was not responsive and communication was very difficult. My "professionalism" rating would have been an A for workers alone.

They gave me $349 off of what they did. It was okay because I had gone on to another contractor that charges $500 just to walk through the door. This is a building company so I knew it won’t just be $349. They said that Angie's List post some parameters on some of the stuff so they told me I have to choose from 5 sizes of tiles that were ridiculous because it was too big for my kitchen but they said it was the guideline of Angie's list set. To get the 5 tiles that I needed to back splash, there was enough charge to cut and custom it that took several hours to do. I am not complaining about it. Their price is comparable to everyone else. They did a great job and he was meticulous which I liked. They did respond to me but it just took a long time to get an answer.

He was unable to keep this appointment but did come about a week later. When he saw the bathroom he said there would be additional costs because of the wall tile. We discussed using vinyl tile instead of ceramic which was part of the deal because of the wall tile. He said to go to Home Depot or Lowes and pick out a vinyl tile. I did and e mailed him the sku# of the tile. This tile was much cheaper than the ceramic would have been. when he finally got back to me he added again more money to the deal. He was very polite but was slow in communicating and in my opinion misrepresented the deal.

It was good, their service is great. Everything was professional, they were great to deal with. They return calls, they were very professional and I would give them an A. We ended up going in with our neighbor because it was a straight gutter, I think it was a little bit more. Their price is fair.

Excelent service. They were able to work with my schedule and gave me honest answers on the problems I was having. I highly recommend them for their honesty, price and flexibility.

There were no issues with scheduling. There were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. It was fine. There were no problems with the service.

They handled things very thorough and they patched up spots. It was a great experience.

I'm just pleased with what they told me, and except that I needed a new roof which I wasn't surprised with that.

I've found a local provider who has given me a lower estimate on the same work, so I have requested a refund of the Big Deal from Angie's List.

The service providers were prompt, courteous, quick, and professional. Repaired our roof where it needed it; sealed areas and replaced shingles where required.

The service took a while to schedule because of weather which I don't hold the company responsible for. I purchased the two hour vs. the one hour service and the individual who performed the service only stayed for an hour and 15 minutes. I have not had any issues and the price was fine so it isn't a huge problem. I just wonder if I purchased the 1 hour service if the outcome would have been the same.

They showed up on time, my husband thought they did a thorough job. We didn't get a written report like we were expecting but we did get a verbal.

They fixed the main issue that I had, however scheduling the service was a nightmare, I understand that we had really bad weather however I called 3 times to schedule the service and they confirmed but never showed up until the last time when I was not at home and the service was not scheduled.
