Dan fixed the problem in 40 minutes. He took before and after photos to show the problem and the fix. He also pointed out some issues that would need attention in the near future. I would use Minnicks again.

We purchased a Big Deal for a roof inspection in September of 2013, which was to include a roof inspection, minor repairs, photos, and a "professional plan of action" if warranted. They left a message for us on our Angie's List account, but before I had a chance to follow-up on that, they showed up at our house, and we received a frantic call from our child care provider that we they were there (un-announced!), while we were at our son's school birthday party. When we called the number they left later that day, they seemed annoyed that we hadn't been conveniently there (per the message we hadn't responded to yet). They said they would call the next week, which they did not. I follow-up again, to no avail. As the weather got worse, I gave it some time, thinking that might be an issue. Still no contact. I followed up in February, suggesting they needed to make contact or issue a refund. They responded with a message saying they would call and this time they did. They said the person who was handling scheduling in the fall, was no longer responsible for that. They seemed to understand the error of their ways, were polite and apologetic, so I tried to start afresh. They came for the inspection (finally), told us there were no minor repairs needed (convenient), but that there were some longer term things we should think about taking care of (okay...). So, did they email us the written professional plan and estimate like they told us they would, and is specified in the deal? No, of course not. We waited. It's July. It's not coming. The sad thing is we saw another Big Deal come in shortly after this for work we really wanted done, but it was by this company, and we thought "no way!"

Inspected and sealed a few places that needed sealing. And also gave me suggestions on diverting the water from a low spot on the roof.

They were very courteous and explained everything. They were on time. We would use them again.

As far as I can judge went really well.

I think the gutter repairman perhaps grabbed the wrong file on the wrong day. They actually came out to my house a day early and started to do work on my gutters that we had never discussed. I wasn't home when they came out. I tried to call and straighten everything out several times, but they were unresponsive and I eventually gave up.

I was very pleased with Minnick Home Solutions. The employee who called to schedule the appointment was very prompt and courteous. She was able to work with my schedule. The inspector, Dan, and his colleague, showed up roughly 20 minutes early and were able to start slightly before the scheduled time since I was outside to greet them. The guys moved quickly during their inspection. Dan explained to me the work he did and we had brief discussion of some other items which interested me. He gave me a receipt which covered the inspection results. All of the employees I dealt with were down-to-earth, knowledgeable and willing to answer questions forthrightly. They were not looking to up-sell me in any way. I would use this provider again, and I recommend them to others.

First off we were charged an additional $100.00 because our roof was over-sized. after the inspection, it took 3 weeks and 4 emails tp get copies of the report and the photos. Dn't think i will use them again

service was timely and courteous. I bought a $300 package for $150. Had to pay an extra $100 because of 3 story house. Problem =Gutters were overflowing in heavy rain. After 15 min on roof, was told we need to have flashing fixed and an extra down spout installed. So Im not sure how I feel about paying $250 out-of-pocket to be told I still need to have more work done, when i informed them of the problem from the get go. I will be receiving an estimate for the additional work. Bottom line=friendly and professional, but not sure what I really got for my money? The new estimate will tell!!!!!!!

They were the only people to show up the day I called. They did an inspection and found the leak. They did a temporary fix for me. Waiting for the estimate to get the job done.

He was prompt, finished the work in a timely way. Left roof inspection report with me. He was kind and professional. He took pictures with his iPhone before he did the work. After, he showed me what he had done.

Things went good. They were good. They were very nice and prompt. I cannot get up the roof and see what they did with the overlay, but they probably did okay. There was no problem. They showed up on time. I have not had any leaking that I had notice. We had some bad rains so I think it is good.

Purchased Big Deal to have roof maintenance done. They got in touch with me to schedule an appointment the following day and scheduled the work within a week. Although no work was done during first visit, Tom was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining what he found out, took pictures, and gave me options. He and his crew have definitely earned my business and I would highly recommend to others.

The work was performed within an acceptable time frame pursuant to the weather. I would recommend this company and actually have already.

My experience was okay. They came out quickly to look at the roof. The technician was pleasant.

They did a great job and it was perfectly acceptable work. Scheduling an appointment was good.

It went very well. The installer of the tile was very skilled. He did a nice job. The price was more than the offer but they charged for materials. The job was excellent! The installer did an excellent job. I thought it was a good company.

The crew of 3 men showed up on time. Justin was the lead and the other two gentleman followed his instructions and worked quickly and quietly. Very professional, and very considerate. I would use Minnick again for other home services.

It was ok. The gutter had fallen and he put it back and took out the plants that were growing in there. One person came out. The price was high.

This contractor seems like a personable guy, unfortunately though it was a less than satisfying experience for me. Although he did try to make amends, (a $50 Get-Go card) to make up for blowing off 2 appointments, his employees were unable to find the source of the roof leak. They showed me pictures of, what they thought could be the source of the problem: my neighbors roof. The neighbor fixed his leak and pointed out that the scenario they suggested was unlikely. He said it was probably due to some of my shingles that were aligned. I'm not a roofer, what do I know. Well... needless to say, I still had a leak. I just paid $250 to have someone else go up and remedy the problem. The workers were polite and nice. If the leaks were fixed my review would be positive- even with the missed appointments, as the owner did try to make amends. I haven't written a review until I could afford to have someone else give me their opinion.$450 later, and after the last storm, I just hope my new ceiling stays dry. And yeah, the gutter still leaks.

The contractor walked my roof and took pictures. He also made minor repairs - like sealing. I was given an estimate on roof replacement, which was high. The service was performed well. But, I'm going with a local Angie's List roofer - to replace my roof - that also has an A rating.

Everything went as expected.

I purchased a deal from this provider in October 2013 but they didn't come to do the job until December 2013, I didn't like how they wanted the payment right away and took so long to finally come install the gutters, it looked like they didn't have enough people to work with so many customers that also purchased the deal so they should think that better in the future ... By the time they were here, we already had the bad weather and the snow was a problem which apparently affected the installation because they are all bent now and there are all kind of small sticks and leaves underneath. The guards don't look even or well installed. I'm going to have to call them to fix it.
