Requested a list of potential repair services. In theory we were supposed to be given three services to consider/choose from. We were given ONE. And that one (Niyalu Repair Service)? We were *unable* to contact them -- their voicemail box was completely full when we called them; we had to scramble to find a different company (NOT through Angie's List, BTW!) -- that *other* repair service came when we needed them, and the part the fridge needs is on order.

David, the technician for Niyalu Repair Service, was friendly, professional, and efficient. I would hire Niyalu and David again for sure.

During holiday season New Year's eve our washer was dead water everywhere. Kids home from college needing to clean and pack. Very prompt and professional service. Seemed pricey but worth it. Would recommend and use again.

David arrive in the provided window, identified the problem quickly. Work was done neatly and when he cleaned he cleaned out beneath the fridge.

Such a silly thing but nobody I called would come out until I called Niyalu Repair Service. They not only came out but they came out right away. And they installed the filter I dropped behind the stove into the range hood I'd dropped it from. And they were very nice. I highly recommend.

NRS was reasonably priced and trustworthy. Another provider wanted to replace parts, charge ridiculous price and couldn't fix for 2 weeks. NRS did great job and i had my frig working same day!!

The technician arrived quickly and was very nice. My wife explained that the start button had been getting bad -- sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. Unfortunately, he gave a quick check of the button, found that it seemed to click (which we already knew) then went on to test two electronic boards on the machine. His tests showed no power to either board so he recommended we spend $400 to replace one board, possibly $600 for both boards. That was nearly the price of the machine so we decided to think about it some more. In the meanwhile, my wife kept trying to get the start button to work so she could get some clothes dried. Eventually, the machine came back on. When it did, everything worked fine. Repeated drying attempts are as before -- sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. We still need to get that button replaced. It seems to us that had our description of the problem been listened to at the start the bad part would have been identified. Instead tests were done that suggested a problem with electronic boards that work fine when the start button works. The $100 visit fee is standard, but we don't think the advice we got for that amount of money was worth it.

They returned my call promptly and told me that someone would be here later in day and they called me and told me an hour and they were promptly here and fixed it and left,. They were a little pricey as it was about $180 to come out but they were prompt and fixed it in a short time and no one else answered my calls

Everything went fine. The repairman came in the day after I called, identified the problem, and fixed it in the span of about an hour. (For the record, the problem was that a fan had broken, screwing up the airflow, causing the refrigerator to stop cooling properly and ice to build up in the back of the freezer.) The fridge works perfectly fine now, and I have no complaints.

it was much less expensive to replace the dishwasher than to fix it.

It went really smooth and efficient. My washer is working again and no more leaking. He did a wonderful job!

Very good work. Called them on Friday morning and they were out that afternoon and the repair was done before 430. It’s working great now! I would definitely use them again. We needed a fan motor replaced which was making a lot of noise.

Great! Called company at 12:45, technician was here by 1:15. Told me the problem with my washer and fixed it in a timely manner.. Will call again if needed.

David arrived the same day I called and exactly when he said he would. Although he tried to get the washer to work, it was beyond all repair. His fee was the service call and was most reasonable for theservice provided. He is professional, honest, and a pleasure to have in my home. I would definitely use this service again.

So far repairs are holding *UPDATE 10/15/18* Update to original review. Repairs lasted less than one month. Upon researching the work the technician performed, it was learned that the work performed was unnecessary and would have never solved our repair issue long term. In fact, some of stated that the work performed and advisement of the work to be performed could be considered fraudulent. Specifically, that recharging a closed Freon system is something that should never be performed.

Got helpful advice about how to run the machine differently to see if that would resolve the problem and avoid a repair.

He cleaned the coils. It was low on coolant so he said it could be leaking. Not worth putting more in. Said to look for a new fridge
