I cannot comment on their service, but I bought a tub re-glazing offer from Angie's List. When I called to redeem it, I found that that there were a number of required add on costs to the original price, without which the job would not have been successful. Luckily Angie's list refunded my money, but seemed like a bait and switch to me.

The gentleman who reglazed my old bathtub was prompt, polite and professional. Work was competed. On time and cleanup was immaculate. Tub looks brand new. I would use their services again with no reservations.

It was great, the tub looks great. The communication was a little spotty, but the actually work was good.

Joe is a true artisan. Our 114 year old claw foot tub is flawless and gleaming and probably looks better than it did in 1899.

Everything went really well. They did a great job. They were on time, professional and even came out to inspect the work a few days after the job was finished.

The provider responded to my intial request promptly, arrived at my place puntually and did a fine job. I have no complaints.

Be sure to ask ahead of time that they bring the written instructions of what to use to clean the tub after it is refinished. We have followed the instructions and nothing has chipped or eroded. Great job. It still looks fantastic one year later. We recommend their work.

The serviceman, Joe, arrived on time and gave an estimate on how long the process would take. The process was completed within the given time frame and it LOOKS GREAT! Joe also made sure to cover the area around the tub as well as the carpet outside the bathroom. When he was finished, he cleaned everything up. The last time I had the tub refinished, about 10 years ago, the smell was awful. Joe put an exhaust fan in the window while spraying and the odor never surfaced. It's been 6 hours since he left and still no smell. I would definitely recommend Tub-N-Counter to anyone who needs a tub refinished. In fact, I gave his number to my neighbor right after she saw how great the tub looks.

We struggled a little bit with punctuality but when it was done, the work was done well. I was very happy with the experience. I bought one of those deals and we weren't communicating. I couldn't reach him and he wouldn't respond.

I was happy with the result and service was good, no complaints thus far.

It was smelly but that was expected. The worker did an excellent job and left the bathroom very clean. I was pleased and the owner even gave me a special price to do the surrounding tiles so they won't mildew again. My only complaint about this company is that they were adamant about using the correct cleaner, but the worker did not have the information on which cleaner to use. I had to call the owner twice to get the paper emailed to me. I have to wonder how hard would it be to print this out and give them to the workers to give to the customers when the work is done. Other than that, I was very pleased.

After initial difficulties due to phone problem's on their end, when I finally scheduled the service, it was performed beautifully. The bathtub looks like new. The worker arrived early performed the work well within the timeframe specified. He was friendly and professional and did not try to sell us more product than ordered. I would definately recommend Tub N Counter to anyone needing a bathtub facelift.

Company offered a promotion which I pre-purchased. When the person arrived he bumped the cost of my job by $100, saying it was a standard fee for tubs that had been glazed once before. This was the first time the possibility of any additional cost was ever mentioned, it should have been in at least the fine print!!! Quite annoying! At that point, I had paid, and needed the job done, so I reluctantly agreed. The company did not offer any color options other than white. The person who did the job was nice and courteous and did wait a bit when we had problems with a wrong key to my summer condo. Job looked very nice, upon completion, but I have some concerns about the longevity of it as I noticed a nick a couple of weeks after the job. They also did not leave any touch up paint, which would probably have been a good idea. I decided to wait to see how the job holds up over the winter, before paying balance. The company never once tried to contact me directly by phone to inquire about the $100 balance, but had the nerve to have one of my neighbors from the condo call to ask me about it. VERY unprofessional, as they should have called me directly or at least sent an email to inquire. A phone call would have gone a LONG way as I didn't even have the number handy to call them. I probably would have agreed to send the money IF they agreed to stand by the job. Even after telling my rude neighbor why I withheld payment, I never heard from them. Finally, after checking out the tub, I saw additional nicks. I looked up the info of the company and emailed them regarding their policy. Suddenly, I am told the $100 was for a guarantee NOT because the tub was once glazed before as originally told. NOW he says he will repair the nicks as courtesy IF I buy the guarantee, BUT nicks are NOT included in the guarantee because it is considered negligent damage... HA!!! I wrote back and told him this was not what he said before. It has now been a couple of weeks and I've not heard from him. Frankly I probably would have paid to have the nicks fixed IF he had answered me, but now I am done. It is a shame, because the job did look great, but I do not think that nicks that happen just by using the tub, should be considered neglect. The change in story really left bad taste in my mouth. Bottom line, the experience could have been much better with better communication both in the pricing of extra fees which were not disclosed upfront and then in a personal follow-up call.

It turned out ok. However, they never called me back from my follow up call after the work was done.

I paid an extra $100 over the Big Deal. When the guy arrived he said that it would be extra for an tub that had been resurfaced previously. He told me that it was stated in the Big Deal but I don't remember him telling me about it. Either way, I would have paid to have it done but it would have been nice to know. Overall, I was very pleased with the results and I would recommend them to others. I was pleased with the results. He did a good job, kept everything neat and was in and out very quickly. I thought the work itself was done well and it's held up well. We are very pleased with it. Even with the extra charge the price was still very competitive.

I tried to make the work go a little easier by taking down the shower curtains and the shampoo holders that were in the tub area. The man that did the work (Joe) was very pleasant and mannerly. He did a very professional job and cleaned up everything. The whole job took about two hours. I couldn't be more satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Joe, who did the service, did a great job. I have not yet used the tub so that is why I quality a B. The issue I had with this vendor, is that I scheduled this service 3 times due to the vendor not being able to show for the first two appointments. Each time, Cameron called me at the time he was to be showing up at my door to say he had scheduling issues and was not able to make it. For the price, I rated this a "c" since the job took with set up/clean up and the job itself less than 3 1/2 hours. $350 for that amount of time I believe is a little excessive.

Initally, the contractor thought they could reglaze without removing my heavy glass shower doors. After the glaze dried, neither the business owner or I was happy with the result. He returned and took off the doors and re-did the process. When the glaze had set, they returned to the house to re-install the glass doors. Now, the tub and shower tiles look clean and shiny, and I am pleased with the end result

The refinishing was done at the time arranged. Quickly and cleanly. All fixtures were protected. The tub looks great, very much improved. I was told that I would receive specific instructions on how to clean the tub, to keep the surfaces nice. This literature has not yet arrived. Therefore, the new surface is not yet tested, and I don't know how it will hold up.

Contractor showed up when scheduled and completed the work in a professional and timely manner.

Absolutely terrible. Firstly, I called the vendor three separate times over the following six weeks to get my $40 refund for finding this service through Angie's List and each time, the vendor promised to send me a check "immediately." I never received it despite requesting this refund on three separate occasions. I gave them every chance to send me this money but after three phone calls, I know the vendor has no intention of sending me a refund. Secondly, the person performing the work left my plumbing completely disconnected so I had to hire a plumber to hook everything back up. Thirdly, the refinishing job was poorly performed, e.g., there is hair and dust entrained in the enamel, which now looks so cheap and second-rate that I'm going to have it redone. Additionally, the vendor was nearly an hour late getting here (and now I wish they had not come at all). My recommendation is to avoid this vendor entirely and find someone that arrives on-time, is qualified and checks their work, and doesn't lie to you repeatedly on the phone about sending you the refund that they promised you.

They did a nice job, but never came back to do a small touch up and never sent the care instructions. It looks very nice and we are happy overall.

This company was terrific. I had another individual living in the house at the time who was supposed to provide access and forgot. Unfortunately the workers showed up and couldn't get in. The owner was very pleasant and came back to do the job with no problem. There was an issue applying the new surface onto the claw tub so he contacted me and we discussed it in order to remedy the problem. This company is fantastic!
