The circumstances were a bit odd because the contractor had a death in his family that caused an interruption in the work. Throughout he and his staff were professional and timely and did a good job.

Like other reviewers have noted, communication was spotty. The company was responsive eventually, but you never know when to expect a response.

He hasn't gotten here yet. He said he sent someone and that they sat outside for 45 minutes. My bell is currently broken, but I had a note on the door for them to knock and never heard anything. On top of that, the owner said as soon as he got back to the office he would call me, and I haven't heard from him since, which was over a week ago.

OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!! He was on time and my tub looks as though it's brand new. Very professional and did a thorough job of cleaning up afterwards. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing a new tub. Try Tub-N-Counter first. Not only will you be glad you did, you will not throw money down the drain (no pun intended) by buying a new one.

The service turned out well. There was an additional fee because they said the tub had refinished before. They also came back to paint some tiles for us. They were prompt and scheduling was very easy.

He was on time and very nice. Started doing the job right away. Was considerate concerning his equipment and my furnishings. Tub looks brand new.

This service was arranged through Angie's List. Tub n Counter sent me a message right away and we soon picked a good date. The installer arrived in the two hour window. He asked to see the space and then brought in his materials. The first 90 minutes were all prep - sanding, scraping and cleaning. Then he masked off the tub. Next he taped plastic sheeting on the surfaces. He placed a fan in the window and plugged in his compressor. He sprays the product on the tub and finally adds a slip resistant grit to the bottom. Then he removed all of the protection and caulked the tub. Tips: have a fan ready and put that in the window. The odor is strong at first. I suggest venting for two days. They say you can use the tub after 24 hours. I gave the tub a full 50 hours to cure. More time is always better.

This was a great expierience. He arrived on time, had the materials he needed, protected all surfaces around the tub including ceramic tile walls, fixtures, and floor. He even removed my towles so they wouldn't absorb the smell. He warned me about the smell and made a conscious effort to keep doors closed whenever possible. I work from home and he was working directly across from my office. I didn't even know he was there except for the few minutes when he was doing the actual painting of the tub surface. Now my bathroom, instead of looking sad and old with 62-year-old faded pink and black ceramic wall tiles and a white bathtub, looks retro. I couldn't be happier. The only down side was there was no communication after we made the appointment. Not even a call the day before to confirm. I sent an email via Angie's List on Thursday (the day before the appointment), but didn't hear anything until 7:15 Friday morning (the day they were coming). It would have been nice to have someone call to confirm they were coming, approximate time when they would arrive, and that they knew I had a special order black, and not the standard white.

It went good. They were on time, everything went smoothly and quickly. They were respectable.

Joe did a neat job and cleaned up. Tub looks like new. Old color was blue, but this bright, shiny white lit up the whole room. A good investment.

Contractor arrived as promised. After working on the tub he advised that it didn't need a complete refinish but a good clean, repair of some places that were chipped would be better. After the job was complete, I agree that this was the correct approach. He cleaned up everything as promised

Came out on time and set up so that a tube exhausted all fumes from the bathroom and out the window. Refinished the tub in a timely manner and did a stellar job. The tub looks brand new. The only change in price was an extra $50.00 for the color we chose since it was not white and I believe this is standard practice when choosing color. They were clean and very polite and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. There was a minor issue that needed to be attended to and Cameron came out right away and took care of it. I would definitely use them again and probably will.

Came in on time, very friendly, gave me tips for another problem he ran into, made me feel very comfortable. Proceed to complete job. Never asked for anything, never complained about anything.....very professional.

It went well. The bathtub looks brand new. I'm happy with that. They didn't charge more. They took an old ugly bathtub and they made it look nice. It was a good experience. They came when they said they were going to. They got the job done. They cleaned up well and everything went well. The only thing that we didn't know was that we can't use bleach on the tub. We didn't know that. There's something in the hardware store that I can use to clean the tub. Their price was excellent.

Was very helpful in scheduling and offering advice about removing a plate in the tub but thought he would not be able to put it back so he just taped it up. Cleaned up and was very professional.

After he started the work he informed me that he was going to have to charge me more for the job. I would have liked to have known this before he began. They did a good job.

Wonderful! Cameron squeezed my appointment quickly in since my project started earlier than expected. Joe glazed the tub. He was on time, friendly, professional. Everything was taped off well, covered before painting and he cleaned up before he left. It only took about two hours. The tub looks great and their warranty is wonderful!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it did not turn out as well as I had hoped. It was extremely hard to schedule with this person. My tub drips a little bit and when they were doing the enameling they seemed not capable of preventing the drips while they were doing the work so the enamel in the area around the drain did not adhere properly. I probably have to call them back on that. That's too bad, but the rest of the job was okay as far as the rest of the tub. Their price seemed to be comparable to other prices I saw. My advice to this company is to focus a little more on customer service and professionalism. I would recommend that they be prompt in their responses and to provide a little more information in their responses. They gave very short, curt answers so they could improve their email etiquette. I wrote them my phone number several times in my email and they still did not call me when I requested. They also showed up early and said they did not have the phone number to call me to let me know. They were early because their other job canceled. I suggest they pay a little bit more attention to communication and being responsive.

They were on time as scheduled. He refinished the tub with NO mess left behind which is a huge deal for me, the cost was just right. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

He made an appointment with me immediately. He was readily available. He was very communicative. We didn't really do anything because I decided to go in a different direction.

The work was a very professional job. The finish was durable and truly looked like new.
