Nelson was prompt with their estimate, scheduled the work and performed it as planned, and did an overall excellent job. It rained hard the night the gutters were installed, and the ground around the house remained dry (as did the basement). I had immediate proof that their diagnosis was correct and that the problem had indeed been fixed. They were professional, polite, neat, and easy to work with.

They were responsive, they came quickly. We have moisture in our attic and have been trying to figure out what to do. The guy got up on the roof and tried to do some things around our chimney, but I don’t think it solved the problem. I was going to get someone else to come out and look at it. I think they just wanted to try and do something quick. The pricing was fair. They are a company I would call again. They have a good reputation. If I needed a new roof, they would definitely be someone to get an estimate from.

We have worked with Dale Nelson before, his company did our siding several years ago, and that was a positive experience. Prior to the replacement of the roof in 2011, we had a leak with this roof, due to storm damage, about 3 years ago. We received 3 bids for the small repair job. The bids ranged from being told we had to have a new roof immediately, to $3000, to Dale'sbid of $150. We appreciated this fair assessment, and when it was time for replacement, there was no hesitation to go with Nelson. It was a very positive experience: they began the work when they told us it would start, the workmen were polite and focused (there was not a lot of shouting and radio-playing heard with other companies' jobs in the neighborhood), the job was completed on time, the clean-up was complete. Highly recommend this company for all roofing and siding jobs.

They did the roofs on these condominiums 25 years ago and we have worked with them on and off since then, We were very happy with the way they worked as well as their responsiveness. They had knowledgeable suggestions about what we should do and they are just a very professional outfit. I will use them again in the future.

Everything went great. The job was done on time and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint is that it took several weeks for them to get to me. It wasn't an emergency so I understand.

The first experience was OK, but I had to pester them for feedback about the state of the roof underlayment. The second experience was very disappointing, with no feedback when they must have decided not to give us an estimate.

Nelson was contracted to completely replace the roof of our home, which had been leaking for some time, and revealed signs of roof rot when I attempted to walk on it. Roof replacement required removal of two existing layers of shingles and replacement of aged roofing. Nelson estimated the cost of labor and new shingles, and a per-square-foot cost for replacing roof plywood, the magnitude of which could not be estimated until after the old shingles were removed. His team arrived on the approximate agreed-upon starting date and performed the planned activities precisely as anticipated. When the old shingles were removed, it became clear that a very large proportion of plywood roofing was severely rotted and had to be replaced. The Nelson team completed the task in reasonable time, despite delays forced by several consecutive days of rain. They were careful to leave at the end of each day with any exposed roof covered by canvas or tar paper, and meticulously cleaned up the area at the end of each day's work to minimize any inconvenience to us. When the job was complete, Pat Nelson voluntarily reduced the cost of plywood replacement by 15 cents per square foot, simply because the amount of replacement plywood required was larger than either of us had anticipated -- thus lowering the overall cost by several hundred dollars. Nelson's team took special care to carefully finish the interior of the skylight that was replaced with custom-fitted aluminum, which was moisture sealed. As a final note: When the dumpster was removed from our driveway at the end of the job, I noticed that a square foot of damage had been caused to the pavement. I casually called attention to it, and within two hours, a new team was back with the necessary equipment and fresh asphalt to repair it -- at no additional cost to me.

Upon completion, all of the work was done well and I'm very satisfied. On the outset, Dale was very responsive in generating a quote and at the end of the whole process, we paid *exactly* what he quoted us for. Each job was done well and in about the amount of time it was quoted (6 days for chimney, 1 each for gutters and deck), however the whole process took three weeks, because it turned out 3 different teams of people came out to do each job and the whole process did not seem very well coordinated.

Rick arrived promptly to give us a free estimate. He spent about an hour going over the proposal and answering questions we had. Once we accepted the proposal the work was scheduled shortly after. The day of the job we did not need to be home since it was a roofing job. We gave instructions on where to place the dumpster since we have reserved parking in our complex. We drove by at lunch and saw that the dumpster was placed exactly where we had asked. When we returned that evening there was no sign of dirt or debris anywhere. They did a great job cleaning up. We received estimates from other roofers and this was the least expensive and the work was great! The total cost of the job was only $3,550.
