They recaulked and regrouted a shower and bathroom floors, they shaved a door that stuck when opening and closing, they prepped and painted a laundry room and cleaned out the dryer vent. Work was professional and well done. I would definitely use them again.

 + 2 moreVladamir did an excellent job of finding the problems, obtaining needed materials and fixing the plumbing, then installing and testing the plumbing and disposal setup. He then moved to the electrical, making modification needed to the inside of the new fixture so that it could be used with the existing connections. He added to the strength of the installation. We could not be happier
Description of Work: replaced garbage disposal, including replacing the rusted under-sink drain pipes. Installed a new kitchen light with changes needed for a modern designer light to replace a small "prehistoric" fluorescent fixture

 + 1 moreWhat impressed me the most was how prompt and polite the owner was with the first phone call. He was able to get a technician out quickly and accommodated my schedule well. The technician was friendly and did a good job. The price seemed very high, so I am not sure I would ever hire them for larger projects. For smaller projects, I would definitely hire them again.

Vladimir clearly has a strong construction background and was able to problem solve our issues quickly and effectively. I have already referred him highly to neighbors and friends. If you want it done right the first time, he's the one to call!
Description of Work: Cleaned grout and recaulked entire master bath, cleaned and corrected gutters, fixed kitchen and bath cabinets, fixed screen doors and interior door, hung large pictures, hung draperies, checked fire detectors, etc.

Two months ago he did beautiful work rescuing cabinets through refinishing--this time he did painting and a significant amount of wall repair. It was very reassuring to have such a skilled and reputable person to do the work. He did an excellent, professional painting job, made good recommendations, and cleaned up nicely. We have already discussed additional work to be scheduled. I highly recommend Vladimir at Mr. Handyman.

 + -1 moreEverything was set up long before I ordered the toilets from Amazon. Plumber arrived on time and worked diligently and efficiently. Labor charges were exactly as estimated. Bill of $350.00 was substantially lower than quotations from Amazon of $500. Toilets work perfectly. I had used this firm twice previously for installation of fauces with the same satisfactory result.

 + -1 moreI am an older woman that my husband just had open heart surgery. Then our basement flooded and everything needed to be redone. I had people come in to do the replacement work but they didn't do any general move things from here to there and re-locate appliances. I contacted Mr. Handyman. They were able to come out quickly. They took care of everything I needed to get done - move things from the basement to the garage, relocate appliances in the basement, carry things to the curb. There is no way I could have gotten these things accomplished without their help. Mr. Handyman is that company that you turn to when you need something done and you aren't sure who does that kind of work. I highly recommend them and the job they do.
Description of Work: I would highly recommend this company. They can do everything. They are so friendly and professional. They come anytime you need them. They seem to be able to repair anything you need. I've had them do minor plumbing and electrical work. They've moved furniture and appliances for me. I could go on and on.... But you won't be disappointed if you contact them.

Description of Work: Over the weekend the lower half of our banister was broken which was a saftey hazarad. I called Mr Handyman early Monday morning and they we at my house by 11:30am. The banister wa fixed in under 2 hours and probably better than the orginal. Vladimir did an excellant job was very professional and cleaned up afterward.

 + 1 moreThey came when they said they were going to. They did what they said they were going to do. The only problem that we had with them was that they underestimated the job in a way. I think it might have been my husband’s fault. They had to come back twice in order to fix things and they did it. They definitely were interested in making sure that everything was right.

 + 0 moreOverall, it is difficult to give a company a fair rating when their office does such an excellent job setting up appointments with their customers and employees. Their office was a total pleasure to deal with and at no time did I feel they wouldn't stand behind the quality of work they had completed. In addition, both employee's were quite pleasant and polite. The first employee just wasn't skilled in all the areas he was represented as having skills in. The second employee just took a little longer than it should have taken to get the job finished correctly. With this being said, I would still call Mr. Handyman in the future. I would just carefully pick and choose the projects I would realistically want to have accomplished.
Description of Work: When I called Mr. Handyman for services, I mentioned multiple items I was interested in having completed to the person I spoke to in the office. I needed wallpaper removed from the kitchen, small foyer and family room walls; I needed the floor in my laundry room replaced with linoleum; along with the jobs I did have finished by Mr. Handyman's employee. When mentioning the wallpaper removal, I quickly realized the employee was not really skilled or interested in this particular job. So, it would have taken him two to three times the amount of time compared to a person who was a painter and wallpaper professional. When I mentioned I wanted the laundy room linoleum floor removed and replaced with linoleum, he wasn't interested in this type of project either. He said he hasn't done much work replacing linoleum. Again, the job would have been done by someone not especially skilled in this area. Mr. Handyman lists their employees as having skills in the two areas I mentioned above and both jobs were mentioned to the employee I spoke with before their employee came to my house. Mr. Handyman's employee did finish three of the four jobs I asked him to do quite well. I needed my concrete patio powerwashed. He did this job quite well. I needed the faucet on my jacuzzi fixed as the water wouldn't come out of the faucet any longer. Their employee was able to diagnose the problem quickly as a loose screw which he screwed tightly to the facuet. He completed this task quite well. Also, I had a ceramic towel bar which had broken away from the wall in the master bedroom. The ceramic towel bar needed to be reglued to the wall in order for me to hang towels from the bar again. He did this task quite well. In addition, I had a front-door screen which was looking old, and I wanted the screen replaced. Their employee replaced the screen on my front door as requested. However, the screen was loose and wavy to the touch when he replaced it, and quickly came apart on two different edges as it wasn't tightened enough on the edges to hold it in place. I called Mr. Handyman to report the loose screen, and they quickly sent their employee out to redo the job. Their employee took the screen out the door, worked on the screen, and replaced the screen. Within two days, the screen was loose again on the edges, and I once again called Mr. Handyman to report the problem. At this time, I mentioned I wanted another employee to complete the job. So, they sent out another employee to correct the unfinished job. This employee took the screen out of the door, worked on the screen and replaced the screen in the door. When I ran my hand over the screen to see if it was tight, the screen was wavy and loose to the touch. The employee took the screen out of the door again, worked on the screen and replaced. It has been two days now and the screen is still in place. I have never had this type of a problem replacing a screen on my front door.

Description of Work: The handyman removed a metal awning that had partially collapsed over the winter. Once removed, he caulked all of the cracks and holes that were revealed, and then neatly stacked the removed material where it was easy for me to move on trash day.

 + 0 morePerry was prompt and super nice. This was the 2nd time he'd been to our home and we were just as pleased the 2nd time. We were having the repair done but it was covered by our home warranty. Perry was very helpful in speaking directly to the home warranty company to confirm the nature of the problem and that replacing the opener with a new one was the proper thing to do. Once we had the ok from the warranty company, Perry got right to work. When he was finished, he was very thorough in his clean up. We will absolutely have him back the next time we have repairs we can't get to/do ourselves.
