Leaf Floor Covering

It went well. They arrived late but worked quickly. They did everything I needed, especially responding quickly on very short notice. The crew was polite and professional.

Went to Leaf for a quote after going to Home Depot and having a quote in hand from there. We arrived just before 1pm and a sales person happend to find me as I was looking for help. As I explained what I was looking for, she was not very friendly. She seemed to do the minimun required of her, as I think I interupted her lunch sitting on the front desk. She immediately grabbed a sample, didn't explain anything about it, and gave me a price quote of more than 2x the price of HD. She then called the manager and came down on the price, still almost twice HD. I told her what the price was for HD and she said that they could not get anywhere near that with anything they had. So, I left. I still do not know what kind of carpet Leaf has nor why they are priced so high. She did not explain anything or try to sell anything. I was not impressed. I am sure there installation service is probably great, but I will take my chances with HD. I have had several things installed by HD and they have been supportive in fixing any problems that may arise.

Wok was done promptly as scheduled by their own staff Installation appears to have been done expertly and installers were very nice.

We really enjoyed the process at Leaf. We also went to Home Depot and Lowes, Leaf was the best of them all. We let them know what we were looking to do and they made it simple for us. We found an amazing carpet and the pricing was easy to understand. The measurement and installation process was simple and professional. They were responsive, helpful, and honest. Leaf sends their own workers to install your carpet....this is a huge plus compared to other companies that send sub-contractors. We will be back next Spring to complete our next project!

I checked them out of Angie's List and he had wonderful reviews. The guy incharge of the project was outstanding. The crew did a fabulous job. The ladies in the office were able to answer all my questions. The job was done in one day and they cleaned everything up. I would highly recommend.

We had our entire upstairs carpeted. This included 4 bedrooms, the hallway and the main staircase. The carpet and padding were high quality and the installation went seamlessly. The turn around time from quote, choosing carpet and then installation was very quick and the Lead staff were very punctual and professional. Leaf even restretched carpet in our finished basement that had developed a few humps over the last 4 years. Very pleased with them.

The material was defective and had to be replaced. Eddie R dealt with the manufacturer and replaced the flooring even before the manufacturer found fault with their product.

They could have sold me a new carpet but they recommended that I just straighten the carpet for now. To say the least I was very impressed and will use them in the future when I need to buy a carpet. In addition they installed a new carpet pad which has worked out extremely well compared to the cheaper carpet pad put in before.

I called them because they were highly rated on Angie's List. I called Leaf to get a home visit and an estimate for carpet installation and was told that they will not come out to my home until I have selected the carpet in their store. Unfortunately, they did not seem interested in ordering the carpet I need to match the rest of my house, only selling me what they carried in their store. The carpet I need can easily be ordered from the manufacturer, I just needed a quality installer. Oh well....Maybe Leaf should only be listed under Carpet Sales and not installation?

The carpet was stretched and the technicians cleaned up after themselves. Took less than 45 minutes to do the work. Very pleased with the job htey did.

Went to store & selected candidate materials. Company came out within two days to measure and recommend installation approach. Received estime shortly thereafter. After making final decision, work was scheduled and completed on-time. Workmanship was excellent. Only complaint was that new quarter round molding could have used another coat of stain for more uniform color.

Leaf flooring made a superoir bid for the work that included our entire bedroom wing. Unlike another offer that required us to contract a floor demoltion contractor then a floor installer. Leaf flooring was and is professional, from owner, material delivery people, to the installers. Everthing was done and delivered as promised. The owner himself worked a few hours on our job. The job was scheduled for 4 days. Thier workmenship was excellent, not only did they finsh a day early but they did a outstanding job. We highly recommend this company to anyone and we can't think of anyone else to do floor work for us. All sub floor squeaks are gone!

Did OK jon overall and were professional but transition area near carpet and floor was gousged and uneven like they ran floor sander too long in spots. Just so-so work for the price.

Ed from Leaf Floor Covering was prompt to respond to my request for an estimate. We were finally getting around to replacing our basement flooring after a flood caused by Hurricane Irene. Ed was very professional as was the person who answered the phone at Leaf Floor Covering's office. Leaf's estimate was very competitive and after speaking with several installers, I just had a good feeling about the company. I felt they cared about me as a customer and I didn't have to wait on line to be helped like when I visited a larger carpet retail/installaton company. Our installation went very well. The crew was professional, prompt, efficient, courteous and their work was outstanding. I can't say enough about this company. When I have flooring needs in the future, they will get my business. I got an Angie's List discount too. Our basement looks great. Hire them!

I needed carpet repaired in two different places in my house. The company sent someone out right away and they were able to fix the carpet in less than an hour. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I would definately recommend using this company!

overall a very good experience, the installers were professional and did professional work. the price was a bit high, and the sales people held back more affordable options from the sales floor; so definitely ask if there are any more affordable options you can consider. but they were polite and professional thru the experience. Probably costs a bit more than going the a big box store i think (only got half way thru the bid process with them, but was unimpressed with estimators and sales guys at lowes and home depot), but probably not that much more and the extra service was worth it to me.

Tile installation not level in numerous locations in the kitchen; gaps between tiles uneven; grout in breaking up and falling out in several locations in kitchen; returned several times to try to correct; in one case the replaced grout was different color and it looked worse than before the attempted correction. Of four thresholds, two incorrectly and sloppily installed; edges on trim not neatly cut and painted;grout has become very dirty -use of grout boost at extra cost seems to be ineffective and a waste of money; general sloppiness of kitchen installation. Powder room seems to be a better job for whatever reason. Have used this company for rugs and floor refinishing with satisfactory results but will never use again especially for any type of tile installation.

We had gone to Leaf Flooring because of all the positive reports on Angie's List. They turned out to every bit as professional as we expected. During the estimating and selection process we changed carpeting styles, colors and fabrics several times. The personnel there, particularly Rebecca and Ed R. were always courteous and helpful. Their crew arrived right at the time they said they would and completed the project in two days, which was their promise. They moved and reset all our furniture, with care, including a cherished Baby Grand Piano. We are extremely pleased with our new carpets and with Leaf Flooring.

The floors turned out fine. The technicians were very nice to deal with, and the work was very good!

The work was done in December. They were very friendly and helpful, moving furniture as needed, and left the area perfectly clean. The carpet looks great. We have already ordered more carpet from Leaf to replace the rest of the old worn material.

The people at leaf flooring are excellant. They provide the knowledge about flooring that prevents you from making mistakes. We had an unusual site, where the previous flooring was not a good choice. They told us what wood flooring would work. The installation was flawless and the floor looks great.

We had an area of carpet in my husband's closet where the dog had dug at the seam and shredded the carpet in that area. We had pieces of carpet in the basement which could be used to replace the old rug in the closet. The technician showed up exactly on time and showed me that, although I had large pieces of carpet to use, only some of them would work because he had to run the carpet in line with the "nap" of the existing carpet. He seamed some pieces together and the reinstalled the new piece. Even tho I know there are seams in the carpet I cannot see them at all. He did a fantastic job and I would hire them again. I wish they had installed the carpet in our house originally!

They did a good job installing a hardwood floor in my kitchen. They worked around an issue I had with installing the floor around my dishwasher. They were very creative, timely and cleaned up after themselves. Also, they were affordable and I would recommend them to others.

Leaf does these jobs as filler, so they couldn't tell me an exact date and time when they would be able to service my home, but this was fine with me. The person in the store took my number and said someone would call me when they had a break in their schedule. I heard nothing for a couple weeks (again, fine with me) until one day they called with availability that day (literally 30 min from the time of call). Fortunately, I was able to break away from work and let them into my home. They were courteous and got right to it...the 3 rooms were done within 45 minutes. They did break a picture frame while moving a shelf. However, it wasn't an issue as it was not valuable. Note: Move anything breakable and of true value yourself, as they may have to move some furniture around.
