Lang's Lawn Care Fertilizing & Seal Coating

I have been very happy with them. They are very prompt in calling if I have any concerns. I have been pleased with the service. We had all kinds of weeds with the company we had before. They have done a really good job. Our yard looks great. It is a fair price. We don't have to call them and they come and do their job. I would highly recommend them. They know when they are supposed to come based on the time of the year and what they are doing. They don't bother me. This is my 3rd or 4th year using them and I have been very pleased.

I am spending about $600 on that service and so far it has all turned out fine. I have no complaints about their work and I would consider it a good job. They don’t knock on the door every time they come and I usually get a note, but they have been faithful coming on schedule. I feel that they do their job and they do it well. I think that their pricing is competitive.

I hired Jeff Lang to sealcoat the driveway at my previous house. He did a great job there so I had him give me an estimate for the driveway at my new townhouse. Jeff left an estimate in writing in my mailbox within a day or two ($70). He called me approximately a week later and scheduled a time and day to complete the service. The work was completed on-time and I was very satisfied with the quality. Unlike many other companies, this one doesn't spray the driveway, but actually spread it by brush, which I prefer. I was very satisfied overall, and would hire Jeff and his company in the future.

When I requested an estimate via email over a weekend, I received a phone call back on Monday. The estimate was promptly delivered and left in my mailbox. I sent an email stating I'd like to schedule the work and I learned I'd be added to the list. No specific date could be provided at that time. Almost a month passed before my driveway was done, but I think the delay was primarily due to all the rain we had in October. The whole job took less than an hour. The driveway was blown clean, edging was done, and then the sealcoat was neatly applied.

They do exactly what they say they will and our interaction with them has been excellent. We are very pleased with them and we would recommend them without qualification.

Nice people to work with - very accommodating. I like to talk with the workers prior to getting any service done, to get a feel of what type of job I will get. They were very professional and answered every question I had. My lawn is a lush green and the weeds are going away! I went years without any fertilizer or weed control, so my lawn(2 acres) was full of dandelions and crab grass - Langs addressed all my concerns. Can't wait until spring to see how full my lawn will look.

They did a good job. They seemed to know alot about the diseases that could hurt my lawn then most companies. They had good recommendations on how to improve my lawn look.

Everything was fine until this year. I had no contact from them in the spring. When I wrote them to ask if they still planned to do my lawn, they were pretty rude and said that I did not communicate with them. When I contacted the owner, things got worse. I decided to fire them and look elsewhere. Overall, not a good experience.

I gave Lang's Lawncare & Sealcoating my highest recommendation. Jeff Lang was responsive, thorough and professional during the project-estimate phase. He called the day before seal coating was to occur, as promised, and the work was absolutely first-rate. The price is fair given the quality and attention to detail. It's the best seal coating job I've had in the last fifteen years. Highly recommended.

They have done a great job at maintaining the health of our front lawn, and they have really helped revive the back. Excessive shade is an issue for our rear lawn, and they recommended a tree trimmer to help thin out the trees to bring in more light (we have not yet done this). We're very happy with the service, however you pay a premium for it. One other nice thing is that they give you instructions on how to maintain it. For example, cut your lawn to a 3.0-3.5-inch height (most people scalp it to 2.0 inches, in which case the grass is not long enough to produce sufficient shade to keep the soil cool and full of moisture...the lawn overheats, dries out, and turns brown). These tips they provided helped us maintain our beautiful lawn, and we don't even water it!

We've used them for two years and they are excellent. They reply when we email and return phone calls promptly. Our lawn has never looked better. It looks much better than it did with our previous company.

I contacted Lang's and received a call back same day and an estimate within 2 days. Mr Lang was amenable to providing an additional discount if I could get 5 neighbors to also get their driveways sealed. A two man team showed up promptly at 8 am and did an excellent job edging the driveways and then applying the sealcoating by hand. I was very pleased with the finished job and was relieved when my neighbors also gave positive feedback on the work. I would definitely use them again. Professional and pleasant to deal with.

I'm in a new (4 years old) townhouse development. Our driveways were asphalted but never sealed. I wanted my driveway to be sealed but decided to check with owner Jeff Lang to see if we could negotiate a better price if my neighbors would join with me. Jeff worked very hard to answer all our questions and accomodate our needs. He gave us a discounted rate due to all the houses that decided to participate (though it was not 100% of the residences). As a matter of fact - when word got out that a possible sealant job may be done in our neighborhood one of Jeff's competitors tried to (unsucessfully) underprice his quote! Jeff scheduled us as soon as the weather would cooperate (this summer - 2009 - has been very rainy). His guys Jeremy and Casey showed up exactly on time and immediately got to work. They made sure the driveways were clean before applying the sealant and were extremely neat (no splashes or errors). They didn't take any breaks and went from house-to-house - it was a big job on a hot day. The results? EXCELLENT! I have heard nothing but praise and excitement over the way our driveways look. Everyone (including me) is thrilled! It has really enhanced the look of our neighborhood. The houses that decided to not participate do not look as nice as the others. I have a feeling that when we invite Jeff's crew to come back out in 2-3 years ALL the houses will want to be included. I can't say anymore - it turned out even better than I was hoping!

Mr Lang was professional and forthcoming about the work to be done. By fortunate coincidence we were going away overnight on the day Lang wanted to do the job. When we returned the next afternoon the work was completed and I could no fault. I had procrastinated for years because of the bad reputation (in my mind, at least) of this industry. Angie helped me find the right guy easily. My yearly subscription has paid for itself already.

It went very well. I called Lang's Seal coating on Friday, 10/3 and received a return call from Jeff Lang that same day. He came out on Monday, 10/6 and gave a free estimate plus a lawn evaluation. He said our drive has too many cracks for repair but he could use the sealant on it. I discussed it with my husband that evening and called Jeff to say we would use his service. On Thursday, 10/9 Jeff telephoned to say we were on his list, weather permitting. He called again on Friday, 10/10 to confirm an appointment for Saturday morning. Since my husband had to have time to first remove some blocks lining one side of the drive, Jeff was accommodating and pushed the appointment to around noon. The two man crew arrived promptly and set to work. They were very careful not to make a mess or get sealant on the surrounding areas. When finished, they put yellow caution tape across the bottom and left the statement in the mailbox.

Excellent from the "word go." Mr. Lang responded to my call the same day, gave me a price over the phone, told me when they would arrive (a few days... gladly, much earlier than I thought) ... did the job, and left the bill at our house. We didn't even have to be there when they did the work. All he asked is that we mail a check. This was as close to doing business on a handshake as it gets! The bill was the exact amount as the estimate. I wish all transactions could be done like this ... but, unfortunately, this is not a perfect world. But this experience has taught me that THERE ARE some cases that reach the highest level of honesty and trust.

My experience with them was great overall because the guy came out first and looked over the lawn and gave me a professional rundown on my situation. The price was reasonable, and the service was great.

Had a good experience from the moment I contacted Jeff Lang with his quick return call to the scheduling of the work. Not only was the work done very professionally and on time, but Jeff personally repaired several cracks in the driveway with a cold patch at no extra cost.

No surprises or disappointments w/ this company. I plan to use their lawn service, as well.

Gary from Lang's came to give us an initial assessment and tell us what he could do to bring our lawn back. Once he gave us his price, we immediately started on the treatments to repair the lawn. We saw an improvement right away. There were 4 or 5 applications about 3 months apart, with the option to continue into the next year. We can't thank Gary enough for bringing our lawn back to life. It looks better then it ever did!
