Lang's Lawn Care Fertilizing & Seal Coating

We just completed our second full year of lawn service and couldn't be happier with Lang's service. The lawn looks better than it ever has in over 40 years.

They do a good job. I had a tough year last year but they have been reliable. I will continue to use them.

Very well. Andrew (crew lead) and Mike did a very good job. They did a careful and thorough job of sealcoating, being careful not to get any sealcoat onto the Belgian blocks. Also the Lang team did a great job with two driveway repairs (one requiring crack patch and one requiring cold patch asphalt). I had forgotten to tell them about these repairs until they were on their way over to the job - and they were still able to complete the repairs and they were very fair in the pricing for the repair. On top of all of this, both Andrew and Mike were pleasant, effective, efficient and professional. Andrew even left me some seal coat to put over the cold patch when it had cured.

We hired Lang's to sealcoat our driveway in June 2019, and even with a busy schedule, Jeff Lang scheduled us during a break in the rainy weather. His crew thoroughly filled in cracks and our Invisible Fence trough, and the sealcoating with very thorough and complete. Will be using Lang's for all our future driveway sealcoatings.

Lang's was truly a painless experience. What impressed me was how once you signed up things just worked. I never had to chase them, they came when they said they would, their crew was curteous and professional and the treatments did make a difference.

If you're a private homeowner DON'T use this service!! We have been customers for 10 years and every year they promise to treat our fruit trees with fungicide early enough to prevent reinfection. Every year I have to cajole them to get here on time (according to them, before bloom). Our trees are blooming, I called three days in a row with no response and now have been told that "since we didn't get there on time we'll just cancel the rest of the applications." Cancelled our contract and will contact BBB.

I opted to sign-up with Lang this year after several years with a large national service that was getting worse year-over-year in terms of value/results. I am very pleased with Lang so far (3 applications). They ensure to treat every sq foot of property, the yard looks great, I feel more comfortable with the products they are using, and their employees are professional.

Great! They are very professional and responsive.

They are good. It was good. The driveway looks better than the lawn. They do good seal coating. They come on time, they aren't scheduled, but they come. Tell us when we need to get it done, we pay an discount, and we're done. They follow up, if we aren't happy, they will follow up again. I have a thing the weed killer doesn't work, and they will come out and put another coat out, no charge. They have a discount if you buy all your lawn treatments at once. We forgot to pay for it, so we paid full price for the first treatment, and the other three we got a discount.

Our landscaper sub-contracts to Lang's for lawn fertilizing and we have had great results. I asked our landscaper if he had a recommendation for a quality driveway sealing company and he recommended Lang's without hesitation. We decided to go with them and were not disappointed. We asked if they could schedule the work when we were on vacation, which they were able to accomodate without question. When we returned from vacation, we found the job completed pristinely. It was clear that the work was done professionally and using quality materials. They took care to ensure clean edges and also gave special attention to some spots on the driveway that had deteriorated more significantly over the years. Great job by Lang's, and we would definitely use them again.

We buy a package where they do things from spring to the fall. The cost is $125 per treatment. We are never home when they come. They just come and stick a little flag on our lawn to let us know that it has been treated. We still have a lot of crab grass, clover, and stuff. Although, it is not like they make any guarantee that it will be 100% sure. We pay a lot of money for the service and our lawn is not looking good that we had hoped it would so that is really the reflection of the grade.

Jeff called a day before he wanted to sealcoat the driveway. His crew was in and out in less than 3 hours. He edged around the driveway before applying seal to limit any grass that was covering the driveway. It was very easy and they did an excellent job.

Seal coating was very reasonably priced and they did an excellent job. The lawn care services have included fertilization and reseeding. We had a huge brown patch of dead grass due to grubs. Jeff's team has been out several times and the patch is almost gone, a feat we would not have thought possible in just one year. We actually choose Lang's because they treat our neighbor's yard, and it's spectacular. Could not ask for a better company for your seal coating and lawn care needs.

Spoke with the owner to request an estimate to seal coat my driveway. The owner said it would take a few days until he could get out to my home to perform the estimate. I waited one week, but no response. Telephoned Lang's again to confirm that someone would be coming out to do the estimate. The owner rendered an excuse, but told me he would be out within the week to do the estimate. Well it has been nearly 3 weeks since I spoke to him. No estimate or a phone call. Have since called two other contractors for estimates. Received both in a timely manner. One of which never contacted me personally. Just showed up one morning and left their estimate under the door mat. Back to the matter at hand. My advice to this contractor: If you are not interested in taking on a particular job estimate, for whatever reason, just say so at the onset. Promising to show up and not following through only infuriates people.

Their service is very good. Two workers come out to do the work. He is a good guy and very responsive. He comes when he wants. I do not have to worry about that.

They sent out one person. He was there for over an hour or an hour-and-a-half. Overall, they were good. Everything was done really nice. They did a fair job on filling the cracks on the driveway before they did it and it seems to hold up okay. They left the area clean. They did not really get anything on any trees, walkways that sort of bat up to the garage, or any of the lawn or garden. Jeff Lang is the owner and he is very responsive. He handles their black topping or sealing part of the business. They said when they are coming out and they showed up on time and took care of everything.

I got them referred by a neighbor. They do similar thing like TruGreen and Scotts for fertilizing. I have used their lawn service for the last two years running like six times a year. They charge about $100 an application and I have about three-quarters of an acre. Their work is very good even if I have a couple of little weeds that come up. They come back out and reapply everything. There are no problems. They spot treated it and were very good. The staffs are very good. They are always friendly. They tell you exactly what they did, what it was for, and give you their name and number if you have any issue or questions. I am planning on using them this year.

We were shopping for a lawn maintenance service as our yard is getting overrun with weeds. We contacted 4 other local companies and Lang's was the only one to actually go to our house and answer my questions honestly. While it's too soon to see if their applications are working, their responsiveness and honesty has left us with a very confident feeling that their service will be an excellent one.

I have no complaints and will use their team again.

I called and requested a quote from Lang's after reviewing other Angie's List reviews. Jeff called me back and said he would come out for a quote. I called Jeff back saying I didn't see the quote he left. After receiving the quote of $85 I went ahead with the service. Jeff's team came out and edged the driveway, blew the driveway cleaned and applied a high quality sand mix coating. I am very happy with the professionalism and cleanliness of his crew. So much so I asked to get a quote for the lawncare and have dropped Tru Green for Lang's local professional service. My lawn is looking better already as well after one treatment.

very pleased with their service & finished product. I received 3 bids & lang's was the cheapest ($205 / $150) vs their $145 quote. They are pretty busy/schedule booked up so it took a bit longer than I thought to do the work but the result looks great. No mess was left behind and there was no sealant on my walkway, grass or mulched flower beds. Driveway looks great & hoping their work will not wear prematurely (as wasthecase from a previous company I used). thanks

They were fine. I was leaving here when he did the work. He came and did the driveway and that was that. He did a great job. He was very responsive and a nice guy. He was good.

It was very good. They did good work. they were reliable. I like that some of the dates we had fell through. they were very conscientious about calling me back to reschedule. They were very persistent in making sure that they did do the work. The price was reasonable.

They're doing well. It's $500 for six applications.
