Jamie is great, and the workers he brought with him were wonderful as well. After a nightmare experience with another contractor whom we knew had done wrong by us and left us with problems, Jamie came in and saved the day, he took on many, many extra little projects as we uncovered many more problems along the way, all with a smile on his face along the way. He never price gouged us or took advantage of our situation. He was honest, fair, professional and after the wave of bad contractors we have been dealing with he was a breath of fresh air to work with. Jamie showed us areas where the former contractor literally had left wiring exposed that had already literally charred some of the electrical boxes installed and could have potentially burned down our home resulting in loss of our home, our possessions, our memories and all of our lives. Thank you Jamie for saving us and all that is dear to us, and thank you for your honesty and for doing the job right the first time. My front outdoor lights suddenly stopped working. I didn't think to check the bulbs because I thought it would be strange that they both went out at the same time - but that's what it was. Just the bulbs. I did have a weak switch that was on it's last leg that they replaced so that they could actually do something for me. They also looked at a leak for me - not their area - but did it to be helpful. I appreciated their prompt response, professionalism and kindness. I am sad that they charge $100 - no matter what; but I probably should have asked him about service fees before he came. I will likely use them again in the event that I have a REAL problem and/or require electrical work. Very nice guys!

Good. Outside of leaving empty boxes and electrical supply pieces in my wheelbarrow (which I think his assistants did), Jamey is great. The lights are perfect and they were securely mounted to the trees. We have great lighting in our fire pit area and on the open drain field to have parties now and a wedding in September! He ran the electrical in and around tree roots, but left the dirt out of the holes. We had to hire someone to finish it off. No big deal, I'd still hire Jamey over any other electrical contractor because he knows what he is doing, and does a thorough, safe, job. He is also very easy going and understanding about money. The verbal estimate was much lower than what I ended up paying, and honestly I was shocked, but I understand the terrain they had to work with and they deserved every penny. One small incident, happened our freezer was unplugged during the time they were working here. We lost about $400 worth of meats. We were very upset and no one ever took ownership of it. That was disappointing. I think Jamey should just work alone, and not have the assistants he had with him on my most recent job, because I think they don't care about their work environment. Jamey cares, but he needs to dump his crew. From now on, he can work here but only alone, or with his cousin.

Everything went well with the job from start to finish. Jim is very knowledgable & experienced in his trade. He takes time to explain things and goes out of his way to resolve any problems . His helper is a good worker also. We will have him do more work for us in the future. Thanks Again !

ames checked my panel box to see if that was the real problem. He also went step by step and answered all my questions.he then tighten all the loose wires that might of gotten loose over time.He also changed the breaker, He then went upstairs to my living room and checked all outlets and switches and changed the ones that need to be changed. He also checked my hall light that was wasnt working either he found out that the ground was not grounded properly .He didnt push for any extras. Which was refreshing. I asked him if i need to rewire the house .and he said no that it was suffient for our needs. Just that he said that was a relief to my ears. I will have in over to put a exhust fan in my bathroom. James is such a nice guy very friendly and smart he puts you at easy and doesn't make you feel like a fool I would highly recommend him for future projects in my home. .. And my dogs loved him and that is saying alot

James did an excellent job, he is professional and pleasant. He helped me empty out the storage area where the work was to be done, which is in an unheated shed off of the house. We had him replace the original breaker box installed in 1976 when our home was built. He made sure I knew that the power would be off for an hour or two and that I was comfortable with that while it was 18 degrees outside. The work done and area was left neat and tidy, much better than what he started with. He explained everything he did, tested and labeled all the new breakers. We plan on hiring him to install additional outdoor outlets in the near future.

He found an issue that my previous electrician didn't find and fixed it. He was very thorough, checked other outlets for me and fixed the problem and prevented a few others. I'ev been through several disappointing electricians over the last 10 years. I plan to continue using him for all my electrical needs.

He did an excellent, excellent job. He came out right away and did the job; relative in a short period of time after we have spoke with him. We had no problems at all. We would definitely use him again. There was nothing that was bad. It was all positive. he came when he said he was going to. He responded very quickly. We called him and left a message and he called us back the same day. He came out within a few days afterward and did the work. He was very reasonable and he did a very good job. He was clean and I can't say anything bad.

I found JL Electric on Angies list and was impressed by their work and professionalism. I wish I would have found them sooner! They did everything I needed and wanted in a very timely manner. The response by Jamey is always quick and courteous. I will use them for many jobs to come in the future and would recommend them to everyone I know. Their price is fair and their work is excellent.

Jamie was super! I was under time pressure to get the new service installed so I would have space in my panel to add air conditioning. Jamie squeezed my job in just a couple of days after I contacted him. He and his crew were friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Jim was responsive to my initial call (came out within a day to take a look and make an estimate). He then scheduled the work within a couple of days. He arrived with an employee within a few minutes of the scheduled time. They were both congenial and professional, and got the job done well, and much faster than I would have imagined. From my experience I would definitely recommend JL Electric.

He took a disaster area and made it a showcase. Arrived on time, left on schedule, cleaned up. I feel he went the extra mile to do the job right.

Jamie and his crew did an incredible job. They were professional, tidy, and mindful of my home and keeping it clean. They worked tirelessly to get the generator setup and worked in unison with the propane company to get the unit online. They did amazing work, and were very courteous as well. They price was lower than anyone that I received quotes from and Jamie is a great business man. My estimate was line itemed out, which never happens anymore, and he was very fair. He has a great crew that works with him, and they too were very professional. He will be doing more work around my home in the future, and I'll tell everyone I know how wonderful an electrician he is!

Had a problem with breakers continually tripping. Called the previous electricians I've dealt with but they were unavailable that day. Contacted JL electric through Angies List. He came the same day, checked all connections with the breakers- outlets etc. Was very efficient, prompt-showed up at 6 pm as it was an "emergency" on my end- as was very easy to work with. In the ens he came back at 7AM a couple of days later- accommodating my schedule- to replace defective breakers. Price was good, timing was great, and would highly recommend

When Jamie was at our place for the circuit breaker, he found one of out prongs outside was really hot and coated. He ground it down and told us it may last for awhile or may go soon. Of course it went on a Sunday. I called Jamie and he was at out house in a couple hours. If there was something he thought we should see, he had me come outside and show what needed to be replaced. We now have a safer house.

Jamey is truly a professional. He spent the entire day at my house doing all of the things I described above. He completed every task and explained everything to me along the way. He had the safety of my family at the top of his priority list, which I greatly appreciated. Because of Jamey's professionalism, high quality of work and fair price, I believe he far exceeds his competitors and I will absolutely recommend him and use him for future electrical work. Jamey takes the time to understand your needs, make you feel comfortable and produces exceptional work, give him a call!

He did a great job. I wanted the lights on the fans to operate from a wall switch and the fans to be controlled by remote controls. This was not as easy as it sounds. He was able to figure the correct way to do the wiring to accomplish this task.

Jamie described the scope of work in detail when providing the estimate and then completed the work on the scheduled date in a very thorough and professional manner

Very happy with the work, price, and service. Would (and did) recommend James to a friend. He was neat, prompt, courteous, and responsive. His price was excellent. I called James on Thursday afternoon during the extended power outage (I lost power for 5 days). He came out within about 2 hours and provided an estimate. He did the work the next day in the evening from 4 to 9 PM which worked out very well with my work schedule. After he finished working at my home he provided an estimate for a friend and was willing to do the work the next day (Saturday).

JL was very prompt, professional and timely. The remodel was off schedule due to the contractor and JL made up for lost time due to his prompt service. He is knowledgeable about the codes and wiring obstacles and worked a few issues out in a short period of time. He recommended LED under cabinet lights that turned out to be beautiful. He is very good at letting you know what he is doing and why and how much it will cost. All in all- a great experience.
