Haller was referred by Home Depot for installing central air and heat & ductwork throughout my entire home. Haller salesman, Erich, came out to my home very quickly after the initial call. He did not pressure me at all into purchasing anything. He gave me an estimate for the job, which was very close to the actual cost. Took about 5 minutes to walk through my home. The job was very large, we needed ductwork ran, since we did not have any in the house. The ductwork was ran from the attic through the closets to the main floor. The installation began a week after the quote was signed. No money was put down before they began working. Erich as well as the store manager came to check on the job multiple times throughout the week. The 2 installers were extremely knoweledgable and friendly. They were very tidy with the work they did. A water heater was installed and the old oil furnace was removed from my home. Duct work was not able to be installed into an extension of my house, so a ductless unit was installed for that room. When the job was complete, Erich did not pressure us to pay right away. He stopped by my house at my convenience to pick up the check. The only issues I had were the conduit on the front of the house not matching the house color. They ordered new conduit and had it replaced with no hassles. The money for the job was not collected until this was all complete. Overall, this was a very pleasant install and the heat/AC work great. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone. I am currently in the process of working with the plumbing department on another job. I am expecting we will have the same experience.

went well, although it was sometimes difficult getting a hold of our service rep at times, and we did have a few bouts of mis-communication, but they were promptly resolved with persistance. The installation team was excellent! They worked very diligently, were very professional, and the end result was a very clean installation. Everything was explained to us in clear detail and they cleaned up everything when they left. They arrived on time and were very friendly. We have used Haller before for our HVAC and plumbing needs and we will continue going back. Competitive rates plus a high quality product WITHOUT cutting corners.

Haller performed the necessary checks on my HVAC unit and dispelled some anxiety created by Advanced Plumbing and heating who said I needed to repair potential leak and should check my warranty. Needless to say, Haller actually knew what they were doing and also found a couple of issues that Advanced didn't even notice. I would use them again!

I would say do not try to schedule your appointment through Angie's List because the provider did not respond. I called after almost 24 hours, and the customer service person did not provide an answer to my question as to "when they check messages from those submitted for scheduling through Angie's list." She simply took my information, and provided me with someone the next day. Therefore, I advise calling them! They did call, as promised, 1 hour before arrival time and before 5 pm because of other plans we had in the household. Jeremiah was the technician and when entering the house he always put on booties first. He performed diagnostics and resolved the problem and put the new part in the outside unit in like 10 minutes! He also checked the inside unit, and asked us some questions and things to watch for and reviewed what he did with us. He clearly explained everything and asked us if we had any questions. He offered the differences between the service package and non-service package as well without being pushy. Seriously, he did a fantastic job! I wish all my experiences with businesses were like this one. I don't mind paying a little extra for good customer service and no hassles. We returned to this business after having them service the heating unit last year for a part under warranty that broke, and found them through Angie's List. Although we did not have a coupon this time, I feel they are trustworthy and upfront.

Damian called before he arrived to let us know he was on the way. He also asked if we could leash our dog before his arrival. Damian came in and checked out the system inside and out. He did advise we needed to replace the air filter which he took care of as he had the part with him. I had a delightful visit with Damian as we chatted about our HVAC system and other products offered by Haller. Damian was extremely professional, wearing "booties" over his shoes even after I told him he didn't need to do so. He cautioned me about the need to install a CO2 alarm in the house which I have taken care of based on Damian's prompting. I am pleased with Haller as a company that takes care of its customers. The actual cost to me for the visit was $44 to cover the cost of the air filter as the check-up fee was waived.

Everything went Ok but I feel their fees are too high, even when getting a discount. The Company is returning to do unfinished work.

All work was done in an efficient and professional manner. My experience with Haller goes way beyond this job, however. They have been my provider of choice for all things HVAC-related over the years. They have maintained, repaired, and eventually replaced my heating and A/C system over the course of 18 years. Every Haller technician I have worked with over the years has been extremely competent and professional.

They were punctual. It took them an extra 3 or 5 days more than they had estimated to get the job done but they didn't change my price. They were very professional.

The service went very well. It took about 2 hours, which is the average time compared to other times I had the furnace cleaned.

I can highly recommend their services. They have prompt, reliable and knowledgeable service.

Installed a propane tank and ran lines to my whole house generator along with the required regulator.

Excellent job. Quality products. They really fix the problem. They were very thorough. They've worked on the furnace, A/C, and water heater.

They are very clean. When they are done working, there is no mess. If they drill a hole somewhere they clean up all the dust and stuff that came out of it. It is amazing that all is cleaned up for me. They installed my air conditioning. They also did rewiring of my house and at any time did we ever feel that they did work; like we never knew that they did it. They work very quickly and are very friendly.

We called Haller after 7:00 pm and they came in about 30 minutes. Our flooring installer tried to install one of our toilets after installing flooring. While installing the toilet, he broke the pipe to the toilet causing water to flood through the bathroom floor which flowed through our kitchen ceiling. Haller fixed the pipe to the toilet so that we could get water turned back on for the house. Also, they installed two toilets. They were punctual and cleaned up afterwards. Also, they charge normal rates for the toilet installs, which they did not have to do. I would definitely use them again. They did quick and nice work.

The installers were very courteous and considerate of our home. Job was a two day event and they were on time or early both days. After the job was completed the area was cleaned up completely. They spent the time to demonstrate how the new thermostat operates. The job was done in a very professional manner and the system is working great.

It became necessary to buy a new system in 2008 for two reasons. First my Carrier air-conditioning system, which had served me well for nearly 30 years, with almost no maintenance cost, failed. Second, I had heated my home with fuel oil using an oil fired / hot water system with which I was very satisfied since I purchased the house in 1973. I had replaced the boiler in 1998 and the system was working very well; however, the cost of oil had literally quadrupled over a couple of years. It was obvious that I needed a new heating and cooling system. My initial investigations were in the area of geothermal. I identified an organization who was a regional leader in this area. Unfortunately when we attempted to drill the well, which is required for geothermal, we were unable to do so due to the fact that I lived adjacent to a floodplain. I then consulted with two experts in the field of heating and cooling. After considerable investigation their recommendation was that I install an HVAC system. The one expert felt that the most competent and reliable local supplier was Haller Enterprises. I called them and was contacted by one of their sales representatives. We went back-and-forth for a period of about three months and eventually reached agreement on what should be installed and where it should be installed. The installation occurred in the late third quarter and early fourth quarter of 2008. It is my practice to be in my house when people are performing major projects. As I work out of my house and am self-employed that is not a problem for me. Hence, I was on-site during the entire installation. I would later discover that I was not consulted regarding important decisions that ultimately affected my energy loss. Our experience with the system from the outset has not been positive. The consistency and quality of heating and cooling provided by the carrier air conditioner and the oil fired hot water heater far exceeded the new system. To be fair the very nature of an HVAC a system is such that it cannot perform nearly as well as oil fired hot water. From the start there have been hot spots and cold spots in Summer and Winter throughout the house. To Haller's credit they have attempted to work with us to improve the performance of the system. At one point they sent a team of people in to balance the system more effectively and to alter the configuration of the air ducts so as to save energy. They did this at their expense, which is laudable. However, the end result was no better than the original environment. As I write this I'm sitting in my office, which is in the basement of my house. The date is February 7, 2013. The heat at the thermostat in the upstairs hallway is 68° ( the same as the system setting). The heat in the adjacent master bedroom (5 feet away) is 72°, the temperature in my office is 52°. The outside temp is 34° and the temperature in the dining room which is on the floor below the bedroom level is 61°. Clearly in spite of everything that has been done, and I say again that Haller has attempted to help, the system is still completely unsatisfactory. One final note. In the 30 years that I owned the Carrier air-conditioning system it functioned above average for virtually all that time. Toward the end the performance was spotty. However, on balance, I had no complaints. In those 30 years I spent a total of about $500 including several cooling recharges toward the end of its life. It was a very reliable, durable and low-maintenance system. Several months after I installed the Haller system I received a phone call from them indicating that my annual maintenance checkup was due. I pointed out that I had not had the system for a year and the young lady from Haller pointed out that that was okay and that there was no charge. One of their technicians appeared at my house and I accompanied him during his entire visit as is my practice. He checked this and that and said it was okay. A year later Haller called me again and told me it was time for my annual checkup. I asked if there was a charge. The young lady on the phone advised me that it would be $150. I assured her that I had no need for annual checkup. One would expect that the technology 30 years later than my Carrier unit would be such that maintenance will be less required rather than more required.

My furnace was catching fire. I had to turn it off and they came out the next day to replace it. I purchased the highest rated furnace that they had. They gave me an 8 year guarantee. I have a service contract with them. They check my heating and A/C twice a year for only $79.00. The furnace and air conditioning have worked very well.

I can highly recommend them and they gave professional service. They removed the old stuff, installed the new, and cleaned up afterward. They did a really good job. They were always very careful with personal property. They did a high quality installation. They were probably more expensive than most.

Excellent. From estimate to the completion of the install, the job went very smoothly. Mike Minney was our consultant (out of the Lilitz office, PA) and he handled everything wonderfully. Whenever we had a question or concern, all of our questions were answered in record time. He even took a phone call from us on his day off! Mike made the entire process from install to completion very smooth. The install technicians were also awesome. Both of them kept their professionalism throughout the entire process. Since it was such a large job, they were here five days and they were ALWAYS on time and friendly. They performed a very clean install and gladly answered any questions that we had. Not once did they make us feel as though they had to rush through the installation of our system to get to another one. They made sure that everything was right. (Our installers were Ty and Kevin).

We had an issue with an other company and called Haller for a second opinion. From the word "Go" we felt very comfortable w/ the concern, compassion and desire to do what they needed to do to make sure the problem was resolved and we would be very satisfied with the results. When the gentleman came to the house to investigate the issue he performed a VERY extensive evaluation of the problem and only then made a recommendation as to what needed repaired. Using a plumbers camera he showed my wife exactly where the problem was, and then proceeded to lay out a plan for correction which included a cost far less than the other company. This was a straight forward price ...NO HIDDEN FEES... HONEST !! She called me at work and explained the cost. I was concerned about timing getting this done as we were already out of our house for 2 days and I had made alterations to my work schedule to have the work done on Tues. April 16,2013, Haller representative informed my wife that they would check and call us back later on Monday to let us know if it could be done on Tues. We received a confirmation call late Monday evening and the plumber showed on time on Tuesday morning. I have done some plumbing in the house but I know my limitations and I would leave this procedure to the experts!! Eric, was the plumber's name who came to do the work. This man was extremely professional, knowledgeable, skillful and courteous. As the worked proceeded, my wife and I had posed several questions which were answered with great detail and comfort, reassuring us even more that we would be very happy when the job was completed. My wife and I discussed that when the job was done we would proceed to power wash the driveway adjacent to where they were digging and we would give a general raking to the area which had to be dug up. When done with the plumbing and back fill he proceeded to do a cleaning of the area that was nothing less than fantastic. Super work ! Continue this quality work and represent your company. Bottom line so far.... all is flowing well :) ... and I do hope both of this man is recognized for a job WELL DONE !! OUR sincere THANK YOU to all involved in resolving our issue. GREAT PEOPLE MAKE A GREAT COMPANY... These are Great People !!

The workers were professional and courteous, and our fan works fine. I do have one complaint though. When they initially cut the hole in our ceiling for the vent, they discovered a beam or something, so they had to move the hole. The result of this is that, though the fan is installed now, you can see a bit of hole beyond the edge of the fan. I'm disappointed by this. It seems to me that they should either have gone into the attic to check on beams/ etc BEFORE cutting the hole or they should have (at least) caulked the hole so that it doesn't show so much. I've had very positive experiences with Haller in the past, but I am a bit disappointed. UPDATE: Haller sent another worker out after seeing this review, and he caulked the hole, so we're happy. I'm glad to continue giving our business to a company that cares about customer service.

Initially when we were looking for someone to do the air conditioning when we bought this house fourteen years ago, there were five companies and seven systems that we went through. We got screwed on something else for our first day remodel issue so we were really determined especially something serious and needed to be right, we wanted to make sure that it's going to be right and so we did spreadsheets on all the systems, what was good and what was bad, what was pricey and what was not, and everything. We made a decision that it's a combination of price and the system and they've got a contract. They're great, they're always very friendly, very professional, they answered my questions, they let me stand over their shoulders and learn what they're doing. I asked questions and I was present. I told them when it comes to these stuff, I become very on top of things and I'm taking pictures all the time and I was just there to check the progress. They were all very patient with me, they were great. They sent someone on call when we had water heater issues.
