Recently upgraded our HVAC system which was a construction grade system about 22 years old. I contacted Haller Enterprises and received a very thorough and complete quote (Mike M. was my contact). He explained the proposal very thoroughly and and explained why everything was included. My furnace and AC were installed this week (by Kelly and Austin) and everything went smoothly. The installers were very capable and courteous. I would recommend Haller Enterprise to anyone needing help with their HVAC system!

I’ve built and worked with many companies in my life. If any issues ask for Chad from Harrisburg. I was lucky he was sent to me. This man is company material. Very valuable asset to any company he chooses. Something that was small to me was pretty big deal to him. That’s pride in your work. My doors are open any time for Chad. Without a doubt where Chad goes most likely these five stars will follow!

I used to love this company. My dad and I have spent thousands of dollars between our houses with HVAC and plumbing throughout the years, with little issues. Now it's time for me to get a whole new cooling system which came to $4200. The system died in 4 hours. The one call gentleman comes out at 11pm to tell me it can't be fixed that evening and he would call between 10-11am the next day. Meanwhile, we are roasting in the house with an internal temp of 86 degrees and 80% humidity. My children were not happy! Today, no calls for service. I called the service center and no one will pick up. I finally call the service man (since he called me from my cell phone the prior evening). He tells me he has no idea when he's coming today. Wouldn't I take precedent considering they still haven't finished their job? Furthermore, I hired them for another system on an addition in a month for another bill of 5k, which I'll probably try to get out of. I'm a loyal customer and within 2 months is willing to pay over 10k on service and they can't get their crap together. I'm beyond disappointed and hope Haller can rectify this situation. Still without airconditioning and sweaty! 5/31/20- I've had HVAC come to fix the unit 2 more times since my last post. My system still isn't working. A manager has called me and said they will take care of it on Monday. That will make it 3 days since the initial install to get answers to when and where things will get fixed. Again, spent over $4,000 on this project and it's still not completed. Furthermore, a tear was found in the furnace that could lead to a carbon monoxide leak. Apparently, my original installers did not see this issue or overlooked it. So now I need the furnace replaced, too. What a nightmare. 06/03/2020 - Finally Haller has rectified the situation. I've learned through all this there are some competent individuals and some that probably need more training at this company. It's a very large corporation and there are so many layers to navigate. Shout outs to Brian Suchy, Kristie Walter, Vito Rodaligo, and Chad Texter for having my back and getting things done correctly. I have decided to continue with this company on my next big project, but will be requesting a particular installer to avoid headaches. Hopefully they honor the request and things are completed without hiccups.

They have been excellent. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again.

Haller was professional, punctual and easy to do business with. Only did two quotes but were the less expensive of the two. Installer was thorough and clean. We will call them again.

The cost is the yearly amount. They put the unit in the house and they were familiar with it.

They are knowledgeable. When they installed the system there was a slight gas leak but they came back and fixed it. My ac unit did leak coolant and they did find it after two attempts.

I have used them every year now for ten years. They did all of the installation on the house that I bought. The technicians are very knowledgeable and very professional. They check everything. They do comprehension checks that goes beyond their checklist. If they see something, they deal with it.

The installers were professional and more than courteous. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't home when they arrived. But they waited patiently and were as polite as ever when I finally got there. They were careful and the installation looks great. They removed all the moldy vents, as well. They'll be back in 2 weeks to clean the ducts. I couldn't have been happier with Sam or the installers.

The technician immediately diagnosed the problem - a small part that needed to be replaced. He had one on the truck and within a half hour or so, had it corrected.

responded to boiler not firing. haller came out the day I called and repaired the boiler. They service 2 boilers and a water heater annually. Very prompt and courtious. I highly recommend them

I have used Haller on literally dozens of projects, both for my personal home and commercially for rental properties and for both HVAC and plumbing, from $150 service to $100,000 project, and feel qualified to review their services. POSITIVE: Very large company. Efficient, well run. Known as a good company to work for, so the employees are for the most part friendly, respectful, clean, on time. NEGATIVE: Lots of overhead, so the prices are almost always highest. Because the company is so large, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle, and harder to get satisfaction if problems arise. EXAMPLE #1: I had a Trane air handler and heat pump replaced in my house. The air handler did not work well. It was installed in the basement to cool and heat the third floor. Incredible amount of air escaped from the airhandler into the basement rather than the 3rd floor where it was intended to go. We complained for weeks and there was a lot of finger pointing that it was a "new Trane product" that did not work well, rather than a problem with the installation. It took 4-5 trips back and forth with technicians until the problem was somewhat improved. One year later we had a 2nd zone replaced by another HVAC contractor (also a Trane Unit, also in the basement) with no problems whatsoever. EXAMPLE #2. I had air handlers installed in the attic of a century old house. Haller placed long drain lines from the airhandler to the exterior. Haller did not explain to me that the drain lines could back up if not blown out twice a year, and they did not tell me there is a product that "alarms" by prohibiting the HVAC from working if the drain line backs up and overflows at the air handler. Consequently, drain lines backed up on air handler water drained onto the ceiling/floors below, and caused me $12,000 of damage to ceilings and expensive hardwood floors. Haller refused to pay for the damage or even to fix the problem, and I contracted with another HVAC contractor that installed the devices to prevent occurrence for a few hundred dollars. I have had many other, more simple tasks that Haller came and performed on time and in a competent manner, with qualified staff, but I have found other HVAC contractors in Lancaster that do a better job at a lower price.

Wonderful, honest, clean, responsive, professional, courteous, sensitive to my needs. Well integrated staff from sales to installers and follow up calls. I do not know of any company more complete that communicates such pride in their work. Well done

It went well. It took only three days to install and we, my wife and I, are very pleased with the results.

Good group to do business with, the price was fair, the instillation when well, and the work was done, on time, to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

We called them to let them know the part was not working. They didn't look at the downstairs part of the unit or do any research. They wanted to change the part and charge $79 for the visit. They didn't end up changing the part because we found it did not need replacement.

We had a good experience with them. They are really good.

Careless mistake in that grounding screw of electric panel was not installed. Six months later three circuit boards shorted out and a fan and thermostat were replace.I believe. They covered the costs of replacement and labor. My confidence was shaken. They had been strongly opposed to having an automatic cross over to oil heat when the temperature went below 35 degrees. I understand there are reasons for not doing this but they are at the risk of having the heat pump heating the home when the temperature drops to the inefficient level below 32. The electric bills last year were out of sight. Recently the thermostat has been giving incorrect outside readings - sometimes-. I no longer use Haller but the new repairman relocated the outside thermostat. Since then things have been fine.

IT WENT WELL FROM THE BEGINNING. EVEN THOUGH OUR AC SYSTEM WAS COMPLEX THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL IN DETERMINING IF OUR ORIGINAL DUCTWORK WOULD WORK WITH THE ADD-ON OF A NATURAL GAS FIRED HEATER. IT DID WITH AN ADDITION OF A RETURN IN THE RIGHT LOCATION WITHIN OUR HOME. GREAT TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION ON BOTH THE HVAC AND GAS PLUMBING SIDES OF THEIR ORGANIZATION. ALSO, THEY WORKED WITH MY SCHEDULE SO THAT I COULD REMOVE THE OLD FIBERGLASS INSULATION AND HAVE A HIGHER EFFICIENCY INSULATION INSTALLED IN THE SPACE WHERE THE OLD AC COILS AND AIR HANDLER UNIT WERE REMOVED.

I was very pleased with the job they did. I would definitely use them again.

They put it in originally, had a great warranty and stood by it. There was no problem. I did not pay anything for the last service call because they stood by their work.
