It went very well. Adam and crew arrived on time, were very professional and friendly. They answered questions I had, explained everything and cleaned up when they left. DP Marlatt has done several jobs for us over the years and we continue to use them because of their professionalism, good work and timeliness. They are friendly, honest and hard working. I will use them again in the future.

Couldn't have asked for better service all around. They were honest and up front about what we actually needed and what it would cost. Best price estimate by far and the work was superior. So nice to know we have found a company we can trust and rely on.

It went great. I looked at three serious contenders for this job, Marlatt being among two recommended by multiple neighbors who were also pleased with their service. Dennis provided the best pricing, and while that was important, that alone wan't what tipped the balance. I researched the equipment, and they install the highest rated equipment in terms of repair record. Dennis also made very practical and excellent recommendations about the right balance between efficiency (e.g. SEER and AFUE ratings) based on our weather in this area, available rebates, knowing what was appropriate for my size house, and potential repair costs down the road. I had a number of follow-up questions before making my decision and Dennis gave me a call to answer every one to my satisfaction. The installation team led by Adam showed up on time, was courteous, clean (it rained and they were conscientious about not tracking mud in, put down drop cloths on the carpet), and knowledgeable. At the end of the job, Adam walked me around the installed equipment to make sure I understood how it worked, and that he answered any questions I had. They were very well organized in providing me all the paperwork and info I needed to register with the manufacturer and apply for rebates with PECO. Not only do I have good reliable A/C and heat again, but I'm confident that I made a great choice in who to do the work. One more thing about making your own choice for HVAC replacement. Of the other two vendors I talked with, the first I tossed out of the running based on an exorbitant price. But the second was a solid contender and also recommended by different and multiple neighbors. I mentioned this to Adam and his team and they were very professional and respectful in talking about the other local smallish company like themselves---kind of like the competitive camaraderie that exist between craft beer brewers. They want to compete based on the quality of their product and service and not the size of their advertising budget. That told me something good about the character of the people that Dennis Marlatt hires.

Excellent service. Highly recommend. Needed to have heating unit suspend. I was worried about noise and vibration in kitchen. He assured me that it would be fine and it is. I’ve been using him for 7years and have never had a problem. Love these guys!

Excellent. Dennis is straight forward and honest. He didn't try to oversell or recommend more than we needed for equipment. I got 3 other estimates and this was fair. Dennis answered my questions comparing estimates because not all of the contractors recommended the same size units. Adam and Dan showed up on time to install the units, was extremely polite and professional and answered all of our questions. They also left our home and yard clean. Adam left his number in case of any other questions.

Great experience! How often can you say that when you have a contractor do work for you? Dennis responded in a timely fashion in providing me with an estimate as well as answering all the questions that I had- and I had plenty. The job was completed on time, right when Dennis said it would be. They arrived on time each day and Adam, Dan and Jim were very professional, courteous and made sure they cleaned up every day. Adam kept me updated on what they were doing, the progress they were making, explaining things and making sure all my questions were answered. I am now enjoying my central air in the current heat wave and the system is working just fine. I would definitely use them again & would recommend them as well. The cost was very reasonable and I received 3 other estimates.

It went well. We had an emergency at home and they accommodated us by changing the time of their arrival. They were courteous, they cared about the cleanliness of our home and were patient with our dogs!

Dennis gave us a great price on installation of a Mitsubishi ductless mini-split air conditioner and installation was very good. Unit works very well and cools down a good portion of our first floor.

It went wonderful. DP Marlatt & Son have install new units in my old home and now my new home. They so a great job of explaining the work before they begin, during the process and again after. They are always open to answering questions I have as the process is going on. Job was done quickly and everything was cleaned up when they were done. System was fully tested before they left

Quick response from obtaining an estimate from Dennis and professional installation performed by Adam & team. They treated the installation as if they were installing it in their own homes, placing each component in the optimal location. Great attention to details, communication, and cleanliness. Concern and awareness was also extended to the pets in the home making sure they remained safe at all times.

DP Marlatt & Son were recommended to us by our neighbor. We are very happy that we hired them as well to install central air in our home. They are professional, friendly, hard working, and very good at what they do. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable with how the job is going and answer questions along the way. The team showed up on the planned date and time and installed both systems in the 2 days initially scheduled. The team is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They made sure I understood what they did and how the systems worked. And the cleaned up everything before they left. I have been using this company for many years now and will continue to do so when I need anything HVAC-related.

We called DP Marlatt for a quote to replace our old HVAC system. Dennis came and unlike other HVAC people, he didn't spent 2 hours trying to sell us stuff & services we didn't need. His price was very competitive, but we ended up going with a different company who offered financing - little did we know that DP Marlatt offers financing as well! A couple of weeks later we called Dennis to check an AC unit in our rental place. Dennis called on the way and he actually came early. He added Freon, checked the furnace and all was reasonably priced. When it's time to replace the HVAC in our rental, I'm not spending hours researching HVAC companies. DP Marlatt is going to be my ONLY call.

It went wonderful! They informed us on our first contact of our needs and about the most efficient unit for us. Then 2 weeks later arrived to install. They placed protection on all floors, vacuumed when they were done, and did an awesome job. I never even knew they were in my home when I arrived home from work, except for the upstairs being so cool and comfortable. If you want quality and honesty this is the company to hire.

I just want to say that the whole experience was A-Plus from estimate to job completion. When I called Dennis he was responsive and set an appointment date/ time within a few days. Come that day Dennis was on time, determined what was needed and sent me an estimate later that day. I called Dennis and he was very knowledgeable putting me at ease right from the start. My father was a Contractor so I know a lot about HVAC systems, along with the internet I had done all the research and was ready to ask the tough questions. Dennis fielded each question with ease and was able to give me additional information that I did not know. In the end we both agreed on an American Standard furnace and AC system. I went with a high efficiency furnace and a 16 sere AC system and I couldn’t be happier! The price quote was great fro the equipment I was getting. Dennis and I set a date 2 weeks from the estimate and when that date came I texted Dennis, we wer all systems go with no delays. I had taken a day off from work to oversee the installation. Adam (Dennis’s son) and Jim showed up exactly on time. Adam was a pleasure to work with and what a GREAT personality , he put us to ease instantly. Jim the perfect compliment to Adam as he was personable but fast to work and keep things moving forward. I did take the time to get to know both Adam and Jim on their breaks and they were both very knowledgeable and hard working. I couldn’t of asked for a better team. Adam and Jim were also tasked with my answering the questions my 3 year old daughter had , and both passed with flying colors. I was very impressed with the care Jim put into creating a custom plenum for the new furnace and Adam also took care to create an exghaust line to my preference. Both Adam and Jim are local guys that kept hard at work, but took the time to explain what they were doing to myself and my family. They completed the job without a hitch by 4 PM and took the time to instruct me on how to use my new digital thermostat , Adam helping me download ny cell phone App to remotely access my thermostat from anywhere (a really nice feature). Contractor at fall heater service advised that signs of aging were present,but, that it would "probably"be OK for this heating system. At 14 years of service we decided to pay homage to MURPHY and replace rather than rely on "probably". We got a quote within two days that was within HOME ADVISORS range and gave the go ahead and agreed on a date. The contractor arrived on time and completed the work on time. Contractor left the environs spotless, explained the break in process and explained the differences from the old system that we might experience. All in all, a five(5) star experience.

Had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment, but well worth it. Returned calls. On time (actually early). Clearly answered any questions I had. Explained what they did. Cleaned up when they were done. Price was lower than I had expected.

The compressor motor shorted out on my old Home A/C so I entered the market for a new system. (I elected to replace both the furnace and A/C.) After getting four bids from different companies I settled on D. P. Marlatt & Son. I now know I made the right choice and here is why. They keep their promises. When Dennis (one of the owners) and I agreed on a date and time for him to come over to get info for an estimate he came right on time. He said he would email me his quote in two days and he did. He didn't try any hard sales tactics like some others did, i.e., "We have a special sale going but it is only good if you sign up to buy within the next week". Also when we agreed on a date and time to install the new system Dennis and his crew actually arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. (He had allowed extra time just in case he ran into heavy traffic on route 422.) Dennis also has great professional installation team (Adam and Jim). They have a great relationship and work very well together given that they have been doing it for many years. They always made the effort to put on booties when they entered our home and before they started their work, they laid down drop clothes from the basement entrance to the furnace location. They certainly put in a long day without any breaks that I noticed insuring that the furnace would be up and running before our home got too cold. I was also amazed that the two of them were able to wrestle out my old AC compressor and then wrestle in the (big) new one without damaging the bushes that were planted around the old unit. Also both interacted great with my wife and me. When they left the basement was cleaner then when they started. In short, found D. P. Marlatt (a family owned business) to be a very professional, dependable outfit on top of the fact that their price was very reasonable.

It went perfect. They were right on time, very respectful, clean put their shoe covers on before entering the house, in fact insisted on it. Laid down drop cloths, etc to protect flooring and carpeting. They explained everything, also checked some other things for me while they were here. The estimated time for completion was right on track. The initial proposal was prompts and schedule for the service was offered just one day after the initial request. Even their trucks were emmacualte, really demonstrates the quality and passion they have for doing a great job and they surely demonstrated great customer focus all throughout the experience.
