Anybody can give good service when things go right. What separates excellent customer service is the provider who handles things the right way when things go wrong. Our furnace was out and we needed a new one. Dennis came quickly, on time and diagnosed the problem. When the new furnace arrived and didn't work, Dennis figured out the problem fast and fixed it. The issue was a malfunction with the unit from the manufacturer and he took care of it and got our new furnace working fast. He really cares and makes good service a priority.

Adam and his helper were professional in all matters related to our HVAC job. They provided us with an impeccable work ethic installing our system in the 2 full days they stated it would take. They treated our house as though it was their own from beginning to end and left it as clean as it was before they started. This business is amazing. From first meeting Dennis the owner to the final day the installation was complete. We were 100% satisfied with everything from start to finish. We live in an older Split Level that when it was build didn't have ducts and used Radiant Heated Ceiling. So we were stuck using window units to cool our home. After about 10 years doing this we had enough and decided to spring for the full cost to have Ducts installed, and a full AC/Heat Pump system as well. Boy are we glad we did. Dennis arrived and measured our home, made his "professional" suggestions and we moved forward. Quote was provided when he said it would be and the price was MORE than fair. Remember our home had NO ducts. They had to design and build them from scratch. Lots of labor and lots of days laying in an itchy insulated attic. Adam, the installer was amazing! He did just amazing things while installing our system. Made sure I was included during decision making along the entire process. He made sure they were installing everything to our liking and of course within reason of the system capabilities. Our main attic he made sure to leave a great deal of space for us to enable us to still utilize the attic space for storage. Trust me, I've seen systems that were installed in other homes that you could NOT move around the attic without stepping on duct or hoses, let alone the unit itself. Adam made sure to put the unit where it would function perfectly all while leaving us space we needed. Just awesome. The team is extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They kept their work area clean which was great since we have dogs. Just an all around great experience. We highly recommend DP Marlatt and Son and we'll recommend them whenever we can. Thanks D.P. Marlatt Team, you guys totally killed this project, well beyond our full expectation!

The installers were very knowledgeable, courteous and Covid 19 safe! They professionally installed the new HVAC unit and removed my old system. It was done on time and for the quoted price. Installing technician Adam and his helper started the job off right by being on time. Arriving at 8:00 a.m. on the first day. He and his helper were very professional and checked everything over before beginning the replacement of our furnace - heat pump / ac. The installation took 2 days as promised. At the end of the first day Adam made sure that we had heat before leaving. Adam and his helper again arrived on time (8:00 a.m.) on the 2nd day and finished the install of our furnace - heat pump/ ac. by mid afternoon. They were both very thorough and critical of their work to make sure everything they did was done correctly and neatly. A new thermostat was installed to finish off the install. When cleanup was done, it looked better than when they started. I am very particular with everything, so this was very important to me. When they had finished Adam the technician, went over everything with me from the install to the operation of the new thermostat, to the cleanup making sure I was happy with everything and understood everything they had done. Then we handled the final payment of the work that was done. The owner and staff were very polite and professional, from the estimate I requested, to the install, to the cleanup and finally explanation on how to use the new system and thermostat. I definitely recommend D.P. Marlatt Co. for your HVAC needs.

We selected them for their price and professionalism. They scheduled our installation and showed up as scheduled and on time. Adam stayed late to complete the project on time.

D.P. Marlatt was exceptional in all aspects of the process. They reviewed existing system and it's capacity, walking me through all the different factors. We discussed options and the pros and cons of each. Recommendation was a very cost effective solution that was close to what we already had. No overselling or pressure to put in the Cadillac of HVAC systems. Written quote and install time line was promptly provided. The installation took 2 days and the installation team was knowledgeable, friendly and very conscious of keeping the house clean. Drop cloths, always wore booties around the house. The work was done in very high quality, all wires and tubes/pipes, were bundled and run appropriately (nothing dangling or hanging loose). clean-up of the work areas was better than they started. Technician walked me through all the necessary details to maintain the system, where the filter is now, how the humidifier works (same as before) and made sure everything was covered.

DP Marlatt & Son converted our electric to gas throughout the upper level of our home. Dennis son Adam and his team were always professional and punctual, they always cleaned up after their day was done. Adam was always available to answer all our question.

I have to first express how impressed I was with their services. Mr.Marlatt knew exactly what to do when it came to installing the duct work in my older home. I understand that older homes were not built to have central air, but he knew exactly what to do!! They completed the work in the time they said they would and were very professional and pleasant to talk with! I give them 5 stars!!

Service was excellent... the owner's son and helper did the install and was running a little late due to traffic and called before or expected time to tell us so we didn't worry they wouldn't make it. The night before this team worked until close to midnight to make sure the didn't have to go back to finish the job and miss our install. The owner, Dennis Marlatt responded to e-mails when we had questions and personally stopped by to make sure the old AC was doing all it could until Marlatt could schedule the install and also came out exactly as he said to cut the power and disconnect the Freon lines so another contractor could lower the condenser pad. All work started and completed on time as specified in the contract. The three members of the installation crew were all very friendly and were respectful of the property. They were careful not to mar the walls or make dirt removing and replacing large HVAC components. Unforeseen installation issues were immediately discussed with the home owner and resolved satisfactorily. The job also required another contractor to perform roof modifications, but when that contractor failed to show up, the crew foreman (Adam) called one of his contacts and within a few hours the roof mod was completed (well done!). These guys did an excellent job and deserve the highest recommendation!

Besides great reviews, the reason I choose D P Marlatt & sons is because they provided me with an up front and honest information. I can honestly say, I’m glad they performed the install of a new heating and central air unit. The crew arrived early (seriously, I can’t remember the last time a contractor arrived early or on time). They explained what they did, answered any questions, clearly explained how to operate the new thermostat, what to expect with the new heating system (burn off smell) and made sure I knew how to open/close the dampers for the duct work. Overall, they were professional, knowledgeable, considerate, showed great attention to detail and were friendly – they offered pick up pizza for my son and I on their lunch break. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I was very pleased from the initial proposal process through the installation. Dennis provided solid information on the HVAC system he proposed and I was confident in his recommendation. Adam and Dan showed up promptly to do the installation and were very thorough. They cleaned up the job site well, provided filter recommendations, and explained the Aprilaire humidifier settings. Dennis promptly answered my post installation questions and explained the operating features of the new system. I would not hesitate to recommend D P Marlatt for your HVAC needs.

Wow. That was my first reaction for their amazing service. Not only did they do a fine job with what they were there for, they helped me catch & prevent a potentially messy, unrelated problem in my basement. Highly recommended!

From the sale to the finished product being installed everything was top notch. Dennis explains everything clearly. Dennis even talked me out of going with the higher price option and clearly explained that with the limited efficiency increase the increase in possible down the road maintenance costs were not worth the little extra savings in energy. Adam and his crew were nothing but the best. If you take the time to talk everything through with them before you start you will not be let down. They are professional, do great work and clean up after themselves. We are looking forward to lower heating and AC bills and are really enjoying the new bells and whistles that come with the new Honeywell controller. As I told Adam I will miss going inside the heater housing to replace my filter element, NOT!!
