Just a tripped breaker. Very honest review I will have them back for normal maintaince

During the hottest days of the summer, my house was a hotbox because my AC stopped working. Because I had been away for a couple of days, I didn't know when it quit, but my thermostat read 90 degrees when I got home. Because it was a Saturday (and the July 4th holiday weekend), I was concerned that I was going to have to live like that until the following week. I found D.P. Marlatt & Son on superpages.com and because they had so many positive reviews I called and left a message with their answering service (and I am glad I did!). The owner (Dennis) called me back within minutes, and Adam arrived at my home within 20 minutes. He first checked to make sure it wasn't just a small part, to save me money, but he determined the whole motor needed replacement. In fact, Adam even figured out that a part was wired incorrectly on the initial installation and he corrected that (his company did not do the initial install). Adam was courteous, professional and knowledgeable, and my AC is working great! I will definitely use this company for my heating and air-conditioning needs, and I even plan to purchase a service contract from them.

He returned my call the same day offered to come out the next day to give me an estiamte for work. He was 30 minutes early for the appt. He is very knowledgable and takes time to explain how AC and heat furnance work in your home. He quickly determined the problem and how to fix. He estimate was $525. I hired him on the spot. (Another company estimate for the same work was $3300). Denise called the next day to schedule the work. He was here on time with his nephew. Both were professional, The work was done in 2 hours. They left the house cleaner than it was when they got here. After he was done he explained how all the vents in the house should be for AC and heat for maximum efficieny and less cost. In 20 minutes my upstairs was so much cooler. I will ALWAYS use this company and refer anoyone I can.

Dennis came highly recommended and we realized why after our initial meeting. He is very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He patiently answered all of our questions and was always quick to respond to our phone calls. As a bonus, his pricing was less than half of the other estimates we had gotten, for a higher efficiency unit. We purchased a home and were converting from oil to gas. Dennis worked with the gas company and was on site for the running of the gas line and meter hook up. He and his team installed the new high efficiency gas unit & hot water heater. We could not be more satisfied with their work, have used them since and will continue to rely on and recommend to others. The pride they take in their work shows in the finished product. We had Dennis install our new heater and were so pleased with his work we hired his team again to get our new house move in ready. The list of what we needed kept growing. To save us money, Adam & Tom pushed themselves to get all of the work done in one day. They: *ran gas line for stove (we converted from oil to gas, no prior existing line) & installed stove *installed over the stove microwave *ran water line for ice maker (no line previously existed) & installed filtration system *ran water line for dishwasher (no line previously existed) & installed dishwasher *ran new water hook up for washer (moved location) & installed washer *ran new gas line and duct work for gas dryer While here, we asked about the toilet that was constantly running - so they fixed that too. Also offered practical advice on some of our other issues, advised us on things we could save money on by addressing ourselves and provided other money saving tips (ie insulating pipes in basement). The guys wore protective booties, cleaned up after themselves, arrived on time. Very fair, honest and trustworthy- a pleasure to work with. Look forward to working with again.

Awesome experience. Of 5 contractors I had quotes from, Dennis was the most professional and most reasonably priced. He explained everything completely even after I asked him a million questions. Dennis was also the only one who sized the system correctly and was even able to get a higher SEER rated A/C unit that we spoke of without raising the price. The techs, Adam and Tom, did the installation and took only a day. They had tarps everywhere to keep the house clean and cleaned up when they were done. Not to mention the stellar work thei did on everything. I'd recommend Dennis and his crew to anyone.

They are always on time-work quickly & thoroughly. Clean up after work is complete. Prices are the best around.

I wrote above. My close neighbors except for the one who shared the people who did the work are not too friendly because I have a farm and they think it is theirs...want to shoot, fish remove my fences, etc. Sorry about the print.

The service turned out great. They did a very good job.

The service was fantastic. They kept coming out to troubleshoot the problems. They replaced the well pump and the controller. They were amazingly neat. They covered their shoes when they came in the house. I can't say enough good things about them.

All went well, work was completed in a timely and professional manner,

Dennis and his crew arrived early Thursday morning. They unloaded the new boiler from the truck and got it into the basement taking great care to protect carpets and walls. They removed the old boiler and used the same care with carpets and walls to remove it from the property. He and his helper got most of the installation done that day, I was informed that it would be a two day job before it was started. They returned early Friday and finished the installation, and tested the operation. After they had left I noticed a small drip from one of the fittings behind the boiler. I called the office just to report the leak, and Dennis came right over to look at it and started the repair. It turns out that one of the threadings from the older pipe had broken through after being heated. Overall the price was very reasonable and the service was exceptional.

DENNIS AND HIS SON, ADAM ARE 2 OF THE MOST POLITE AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE WE HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN THE BUSINESS! THEY ARE BEYOND RELIABLE, AFFORDABLE, AND ALWAYS COMPLETE THEIR WORK IN A TIMELY WORKMAN LIKE MANNER! OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THEM HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF PLEASANT! THEY WIRED OUR ENTIRE POLE BARN AND ARE ALWAYS READILY AVAILABLE FOR ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING QUESTIONS AND/OR SERVICE!
