Description of Work: They had to put in hot/cold lines and new valves for a shower/bathroom remodel. The plumber was very knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. He was there to work on the toilet, but offered us advice on setting it in the tile correctly and the proper way the sink valves/hot/cold lines should be set. He offered the advice freely. I would absolutely recommend Carney.

Description of Work: Replaced complete HVAC system. From initial meeting and evaluation through install they were extremely knowledgeable, thorough, punctual, and clean. Matt evaluated our homes needs and the limitations of our present ductwork and sold us the best solution. He did NOT try to upsell anything that could not be justified with our situation ( poorly sized ductwork which we don't want to change.) VERY professional from start to finish. I got 6 estimates and they were the best all around provider. I will recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a system. Thanks guys!

Description of Work: Woke to no heat. They came and diagnosed a bad igniter. Appt scheduled for afternoon the same day but an opening occurred and they came in the morning. I am very happy with their responsiveness.

Description of Work: We received a quote for a new gas burner and ductless AC. The representative was very professional and knowledgeable. He was prompt and thorough. I appreciated that he was able to share a good bit of information on what we were interested in doing. He provided a very thorough written estimate and sent it via email which is my preferred method of communication. I would definitely use them in the future. We have not proceeded with the project yet because the cost was high but I would feel comfortable using them when we are ready to do the work.

Description of Work: I had a radiator pipe burst while the outdoor temps where in the teens. I called about 11am and they had someone there 2pm to isolate the bad radiator so I could still have heat in the rest of my house. This was on a Friday afternoon. The same tech gave me an estimate to properly repair the problem. It seemed like a lot of money but I had nothing to compare it to. They came back on Monday and completed the job. They were nothing short of professional from the first contact to the final clean up. I subsequently learned that while maybe a little higher than some other outfits, I would gladly hire them again if the need arose.

Description of Work: I had a leaking hot water heater, I called for service on a Saturday morning and was informed that unless I was an existing customer that I would have to wait unitill next week for an apt. I then explained that I have no water to my house and that we were new intown due to our active duty olbilgations and that as we had just moved from our prior duty station. The receptionist said that doesn't change anything that we still were not current customers and that was that. Needles to say I will not call Carney Plumbing for anything ever again and I will go out of my way to let everyone know how this company treats active duty service members in this community.

Description of Work: Our water heater failed Labor Day weekend. We contacted Carney, they put us off until Tuesday morning. They installed a new water heater at a price I thought was too high. On further research in industry sources the high side for this is $1100. We felt like we had been taken advantage of in an emergency situation.
