Description of Work: I was able to negotiate a competitive rate for installing a toilet of my choice using the Angies' List message system - very convenient to deal with them. The plumber arrived within the time window stipulated, performed the work with minimal intervention (was well prepared and thorough), and left zero mess. It was a positive experience and I'd use them again.

Description of Work: They repaired several annoying plumbing problems that I had let go longer than I should have.. |A tub faucet was replaced, Kitchen sink faucet, and they found the cause of a leak under the kitchen sink and one in the 2nd floor bathroom. | |The only problem was the day after service, when I took a shower, there was a leak that came through the kitchen ceiling. I called the shop and a plumber was dispatched within the hour. He fixed the leak and I've had no problem since.

Description of Work: Made an appointment for an estimate. appointment set for between 8-9am on a tues 4/7 - 8:45 i had to call to see if they were going to show up. got a call back said they had an emergency could they reschedule for 3-4 in the afternoon. i agreed - call at 3:30 can make it can we meet tomorrow at 8 am weds 4/8 - said yes. they showed up - looked at the job - said he had to talk to boss and they would get back to me by phone or email . called them on Friday 4/11 to follow up on estimate- 4/15 and no call back or email - guess they don't want the work.

+ -1 moreWe heard a hissing noise seemingly coming from our basement wall. Any water damage would be devastating considering my mother lives in our basement. We did not discover the noise until after 8:00pm. Once we had the township come out and cut off our water supply it was after 9:30pm. That's when we started calling plumbers. The prices just to get people here to our home for an assessment were outrageous. We were growing increasingly anxious when a friend and neighbor suggested we call Platinum Plumbing. From that moment forward we were in great hands! Mr. Burger (the owner) made himself available on the telephone and put many of our fears to rest. We were actually able to sleep believing that no further damage could be done and that the guys from Platinum would be out first thing in the morning. True to his word, Mr. Burger himself arrived just before 7am and the work began. They needed to dig approx 5-6 feet down at the base of our foundation to repair the pinched copper pipe. They brought me down and showed me the source of the problem. I trusted Mr. Burger and his associate from the very beginning. They seemed genuinely interested in helping us and less concerned about making a quick buck. We did not get such a feel from anyone else we spoke with. Within a couple of hours we had a new copper pipe with all the fittings secured safely and protected. Mr. Burger and his associate put all things back in order and were maticulous in their cleanup following the work. We had no idea we could expect such service and professionalism from ANYONE. Mr. Burger greatly exceeded expectations and we HIGHLY recommend Platinum Plumbing to anyone needing a Master Plumber who takes great pride in his work and has not forgotten the value of customer service. Oh--and to kick it all off, Mr. Burger took care of all of this only hours before leaving for a vacation with his family! You cannot go wrong with Platinum Plumbing!
Description of Work: Repaired the pipe/waterline coming from the street into our home. This required significant digging and working through our foundation into our basement. In the end we discovered the pipe had punctured where the water line enters our home from the street.
