Todd and John were very friendly, knowledgable and professional. They came in and got right to work and explained everything they were doing. The installation took much less time than I expected and they took the time to walk me through the new system. Eileen was also very professional when I spoke with her to schedule the appointment. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience. Their rates were also much better than the "big box" competitors out there. This is a local business that I will continue to use and recommend for all HVAC and plumbing needs.

The service took much longer than the estimate. The plumber showed up around 8:30AM and left our house at 1:00PM. When we first called, we planned to also have the kitchen sinks and faucet replaced. We were told If everything goes normally, the whole project should just take about 4 hours. However, when the project didn't go as we expect, we didn't receive any timely communication either from the plumber or the company. When I called the company to find out why it took so long, the person who picked up my call couldn't explain to me with a justified reason and the conversation ended with an excuse that she didn't understand the technical problem and someone will call me back. I didn't receive any call back until the following Monday. So when the plumber left our house, he wanted $380 and we only paid him $290. The owner finally called me on Monday after I called the company and told them the plumber left the tool at our home. The owner didn't feel any sorry for the poor service and the time we wasted on this. What I heard was just the company blamed it took longer because of the old faucet. ( Of cause !!! It was broken that is why we called your service!!!)

We had some difficulty with our water pressure being less than what it was prior and it took them a little bit to figure out what the problem was and at that point they figured out our water supplier had reduced the water pressure and they had to adjust the water pressure higher. It's awfully strange to me that we started having difficulties after they had done the work. But they did come out several times at no extra charge, they did work until they got everything fixed, so I can't complain there. It just seemed like an awful big coincidence. They came out numerous time free of charge and they worked until we got water pressure back to what it had been prior to their services, so overall I'm happy. The price was descent.

They may well do excellent work, but don't depend on them for emergency service! I called about 10:30 PM on a Sunday for help with a burst radiator. The answering service told me they would contact the on-call person who would call me back as soon as possible. Over two hours later and my phone hasn't rung. Maybe they did me a favor... BTW if you call the # listed on the AngiesList profile for after-hours service, you will get a confused employee who will not help you other than to refer you to the main phone #. This smacks of a very amateurish operation.

It went well. I appreciated their fast response. Rick and his apprentice were friendly and knowledgeable about the situation. Rick's polite and friendly attitude also was a plus. They gentleman were able to perform the job in a timely manner.

I have used them many times and will continue to do so. When I call ask for Rick.

The plumber arrived 10 minutes earlier than the 2 hour appointment window which was great. He was very thorough and professional and fixed two small leaks from our downstairs toilet, walked around inside and out to confirm if other leaks were present. This was in regards to a very high water usage for December. He found a leak from the outside faucet which he suggested should be replaced in warmer weather. He showed me the switch off value in the basement for the outside faucet and switched it off to resolve that leak for now. The job took 2 hours in all and I was impressed by the whole service.

Plumber arrived right on time and was very friendly. I explained the issues I was having, he asked a few questions, then he went to his van to get his tools. I needed two drains unclogged and he fixed both in 2 hours. He laid down carpet where he was working and kept everything clean. After he showed me everything was working, he was on his way! 5 days later I got a call from the office to make sure everything was still in working order which was really nice. I give an A+ for service and quality of work! I gave a B for the price because while it was great they gave me the Angie's List special deal without me actually buying the coupon on Angie's List (because I found them here), they did charge me a $50 snake fee - which I think would be just a common tool that people would expect them to use as part of their job. I don't have too big of an issue with it though because they got the job done well.

The guy who came out was courteous and professional. I thought the leak originally was coming from the shower valve, so he started by looking there, and he had to cut a hole in the drywall to get to it. He soon figured out that it wasn't the valve and that it was the shower arm. He repaired it with little trouble. He even gave me an access panel to cover the hole in the drywall. Unfortunately the panel doesn't fit perfectly, but that just means they get an A- instead of an A.

The tech was extremely nice to deal with and answered all the questions that we had concerning our old water heater and flushing of the pipes after the work was done. He was honest in his opinion and he didn't try to sell any services that weren't needed. We would definitely use this company again should the need arise for a plumber.

The plumber from Platinum quickly assessed the problem. When he was not able to get the handle off the shower because it was so old he quickly got the correct parts to get the job done that day. I was very pleased with his ability to get the job done in a thorough manner and to get it done quickly. He was prompt, courteous and knew what he was doing. This is the second time I've used them and I will use their services again. Great job.

Heater worked very well. Mike has done work for us for many years and is always reliable and honest and does a great job. I highly recommend him.

The shut off valve under the bathroom sink blew off creating a very wet situation. The shut off valves under the sinks in both bathrooms had been replaced in a DIY project to replace leaking faucets. The guys from Platinum came in and saw the situation and resolved it so that no more valves would blow off and put a valve under the kitchen sink because there was not one for the cold water. The guys were extremely nice while being very effecient and professional. The office is also very nice to deal with. Already have them set up to help with HVAC problem.

We do not even know where to begin, they are AWESOME. We placed a call after lunch when the disposal fell. We were worried about a leak or cracked pipe. Water was everywhere, which needless to say was not fun to clean up. So we called and Platinum Plumbing accommodated us and showed up at our home to fix our problems that afternoon. While they fixed our disposal by installing it the proper way, the serviceman noticed our dishwasher hose was not placed correctly. So, he gladly fixed that as well. This means no water standing in the bottom of our dishwasher anymore! He was professional and very nice. We cannot thank you enough and will definitely use them again! We found this company on Angies list and chose them because of all the outstanding review, so thank you to the reviewers as well.

Platinum was great. They got a plumber to my house within 2 hours of my call. He spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best way to approach the situation and performed high quality work. The price was reasonable as well.

They did it again...saved the day...that is. At 1 o'clock this afternoon a pipe burst in our finished basement. My husband turned off the main water shutoff because we could not get to the shutoff for the pipe. Todd came right out, replaced the burst pipe and moved the shutoff to the the other side of the ceiling joist where our hands could fit to reach it (our builder was an idiot!). Platinum is the BEST and I will certainly use them again...though hopefully not for a while lol!

Water was turned off but the shutoff valve still leaked and the pipe runs up and over an newly installed exterior door, so the water didn't drain out. Joe fixed the broken pipe and also replaced the shutoff valve with a new one with a bleed screw so water can be shut off and drained out of the pipe. I was glad they were able to get to me during that very busy 0 degree weather. First time I used this company but I'll definitely use them again. The plumber provided excellent service.

I had a horrendously clogged drain leading from two of my sinks and extending I guess 4-6 feet down the pipe. The techs worked harder than I have EVER seen any other contractor work within my home. They were absolutely incredible and gave 120 percent effort for the full time they were here (6 hours). This was not your typical clogged drain by any means...probably the worst any plumber would see in their lifetime! These guys were determined to give me a working kitchen sink before they left. They truly were my saviors and I can't thank them enough! I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and would gladly recommend them to ANYONE...even my mom...and that's saying something!

I called on a Saturday to look into getting the leak taken care of. The initial operator put it in as an emergency, so I would get a call back. I received a call later and talked in more detail about our issue. She told me that it would really be better if I just waited since the emergency rates were much higher. She told me she'd call at 7am on Monday to arrange a time. On Monday at 7am, my phone rang and she told me a plumber could be there between 8 and 9. At 8:15, he arrived and assessed the problem. He had to get the water shut off, and so I called the borough to get someone to do that. Once the water was shut off, the replacement took hardly any time. Throughout, he was professional and courteous and I would definitely use Platinum again.

Platinum did a good job removing the old water heater and installing the new water heater. The crew clearly strived to do a good job. They did attempt to install a damaged unit but when I protested they did take the damaged unit out and found a new undamaged unit to install. Update: As I said, Platinum did a good job and the crew clearly wanted to do a good job. I would not describe the dent as small and it was extremely obvious. I did not purchase a scratch and dent appliance so whether it was cosmetic (what Platinum asserted but could not really know) I should not have to debate whether it is installed or not. I would consider Platinum for future work

The company was very prompt in responding the evening I called, and had someone out here first in the morning to fix it.

Prompt and professional; A-/B+ is a more accurate grade. Only quibble is they left quite a bit of saw-dust scattered around the basement. Everything else was perfect.

I woke up Sunday morning to find that the heater had stopped working sometime during the night. The outside temperature was in the 20s and it was expected to be a cold day. I called and spoke to Platinum's on call service around 9 and heard back from them by 9:30. Even though it was Sunday morning, Joe was at my house by 10:30. He came in and had the problem identified in a matter of minutes. The filter was so clogged that the heater turned itself off to avoid overheating. Joe showed me that all I needed to do was push the Reset button. I felt pretty inept to have called Platinum over something I could have fixed myself. What I couldn't have expected was to have them waive the charge! Joe said since it had only taken a few minutes, they weren't going to charge me! This is the kind of company you stay with. I'll definitely use them again.

We have a double sink with a garbage disposal one side. On Easter Sunday the sink started to have problems draining. It would back up first into the other side of the sink and then eventually drain clear. Since it was functioning, to a degree, we opted to call for service on Wednesday and they made an apointment to come out on Thursday 10am-12pm. Joe arrived about 10:15 and asked me what was happening and then ran some water to test the problem. He took apart the drains and visually checked for any blockages in the "bends". he then added drain cleaner to the main drain. After letting it sit for few moments he proceeded to snake the drain with an motorized auger/snake. He went a lot farther then we could have done. He then resembled the drain pipes and test the drain. The water went down in a wirlpool and gurgle, something it hasn't done in a long time. He did also point out a that the drain pipes while not "out of code" they could be improved to pvc and to a better system. somthing to consider for the future. He also recommended a product that we could use to help keep our old pipes working a little smoother. Something called Bio-clean.
