Derek was ontime and very polite. He quickly assessed the job and explained to me what needed to be done. He prepared a quote and when I agreed he finished the job i no time so I was able to get on with my day.

Great...no charge for service provided I signed up for two years of heating and air conditioning maintenance.

Not only did he fix the heater, but he also discovered that the heating vents in my bedroom had never been opened; nobody ever figured out that there was a problem like that! Now I am warm and toasty, and I wish I could call these guys for ALL my problems! They are even kind to my dog.

Visit was extensive and thorough. Tested all his work and did a great job, even though the first solution didn't pan out. He was a very nice guy that I would definitely hire again. Price seemed a little high, but I needed the work done asap.

We called Platinum Plumbing because we had a leak & needed faucets replaced as well. Our neighbor spoke very highly of them, so when we called, Derek came out that very day and fixed our leak and returned the next day and replaced our faucets in both kitchen & bath. Derek did an Awesome job! He was very prompt and professional and the next time we have any plumbing needs we will be calling Platinum and requesting Derek!

Very impressed at how responsive and easy to work with they are, great service installed our new ac unit the day after estimate. Technicians were professional, and respectful of our property. Two minutes after I searched Angies list they called to see how they could assist, came out the next day for estimate. Overall great company and pricing, will definitely use them again.

The company was very professional and responsive, with an actual live person answering the phone and setting up the emergency appointment very promptly. Matt was very professional and approachable and was able to diagnose the issue fairly quickly and explained the situation and options very thoroughly (which I like). We took his advice to replace 40 feet of pipe vs. just repair the broken section since the quality of the existing pipe was poor, but in the end they couldn't replace the whole length of the pipe without doubling the amount of work since all of our utility lines were running so close to the sewer pipe line. They did their best to repair/replace a 15 foot section and reduced the estimate/quote accordingly, which I appreciated. I spoke to my neighbor who had sewer line work done a few years ago and he said their pricing was reasonable, and I would use them again because of that, and because they frankly were reliable and trustworthy, two qualities you don't see a lot of these days!

The first few steps with this company went well. Very courteous office staff and a prompt arrival of a plumber to walk thru the job description with me and develop a quote. A good start, to be sure. There are three reasons why I did not hire this contractor. First, the quote included opening up a wall between the bathroom (where work would be done) and an adjacent laundry room. Neither of the other two plumbers that offered me competing bids speculated that this would be needed (including the plumbing company that I eventually worked with - it was simply never required). The second reason (which in part I am expecting relates to the first) is that the cost was approximately double that of the other two bids that I received from two competing contractors (both of whom have an A rating here on Angie's list). Finally, I had requested an updated copy of their worker's compensation and liability insurance, which I never received (these are critical needs for any educated homeowner).

These guys are the best. First they came in an emergency within 90 minutes when our sewer backed up. They came early to run a camera. The work was better than expected, done cleanly and professionally. They are responsive and high quality. Other plumbers don't return telephone calls. Kevin gets back in 30 minutes. Strong recommendation.

On time - quick repair and still holding

It took a bit of effort to get the faucet replaced, the plumber did an excellent job but even better, he diagnosed the problem for it failing in the first place and likely prevented worse water damage occurring in the future. Would highly recommend Platinum plumbing

Amazing! Cant say enough great stuff about the platinum folks, from estimate to install they were professional and fair priced. They heard every concern we had and accommodated them with the right solutions, well above some of their competitors. Service after the sale was perfect, Andrew responded to every text and email regardless of time of day. Even provided some value added services well beyond the scope of the project within the timeline to address some issues we were having with plumbing.. if you need plumbing and hvac services, put platinum at the top of your list!

Outstanding. The technician (Matt) performed the repair quickly and took the time to show me how to properly drain the pipes in the winter (I was unaware that there is a little screw on the shutoff valve that you open in order to drain the water from the pipes). He also noticed that the vent on our recently installed water heater was not secured; he went to his truck, took out a metal piece of duct, and properly fastened the vent ducts with screws for no charge. He said this was a safety issue because the vent could have gotten dislodged from knocking into it, which would have vented carbon monoxide fumes into the basement. Matt told me about the other plumbers at his company and said the owner previously did only new construction projects but has now opened a line focused on repair work. I trust the technician and plan to use this company for my future plumbing work.

Great job all around. they came to my house on time and quickly to provide quote. they waited patiently for me to get back to them. they gave me ideas on how to reduce overall cost by addressing some of the things that needed attention via warranty claims, for example lifetime warranty on some of the component parts that needed to be replaced. they worked with me for a date to get the projects done, and they were there on time on scheduled date. the person who did the work, Kevin, was excellent. Very neat, took care to not create any messes, covered the floors and other surfaces where he was working, and got the job done very quickly, much more quickly than I expected. Extremely professional and courteous, and the work done is excellent.

Excellent. We received a home warranty with our home which was worthless! I kept going to the basement to re-light the pilot light. I called Platinum and they said that they could send out a Technician that day. Kevin the Technician was friendly, put tarps down to protect the floor and wore booties. He was clean cut and explained everything that he was doing. He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend Kevin and Platinum Plumbing & Heating!

Very good, without any complications

Showed up on time for appointment and walked through the work to be completed. Said would get an estimate to me within a few days. I sent an email with some follow ups/questions regarding the job and still have not received an estimate ~2 weeks later.

Kevin F was very pleasant. Came to my house the same day I called. Came in, took a look, told me how much, and I gave him the go ahead. He completed the job quickly and professionally.

Had no heat when I turned it on for the first time. Platinum was able to come out within 48 hrs ( it wasn’t terribly cold yet & a small space heater was enough). They came as scheduled, diagnosed the problem, and tried order the part. When their main supplier wouldn’t be able to get for 10 days, I located it online and Platinum encouraged me to order it. When the part arrived, they came out the next day and made the repair. I’m very happy how the whole process was handled and Platinum will be the first company I’ll call the next time I have any HVAC or plumbing problems.

Platinum's men arrived as scheduled. Had to break up approx. 2 1/2 sq ft of basement floor and dig down to drain pipe. Install a test fitting, pressurize the system for the inspector and then put everything back as it was. Everything went very smoothly. They didn't re-cement but that wasn't part of the job. I couldn't be happier.

I thought they were great! They were fantastic. It was over the phone, but they were super helpful with everything. It was specific made. They got back to me, which I actually thought was fantastic.

Tom, was right on promised time, explained me clearly what needs to be done and was very professional in approach. He replaced only what absolutely required and also fees were nominal. This was my first experience and would definitely rehire this company for any of my future plumbing needs.

Tom was great. Kept me up to date always. He was knowledgable and professional. Got right to the problem and figured out that the jets were not setup correctly. They all needed to be tightened and realigned. Checked all The plumbing and piping.

I was very happy with the company and the technician, Todd. They "fit" me in last minute because I was concerned there was a leak. Todd showed up promptly and within minutes had diagnosed the issue, Within a few minutes the problem was resolved and the leak was stopped. Additionally, Todd asked if there were any other concerns I had...and I did. I asked him to look at a water pressure issue. With two quick turns of the wrench, my pressure problem was resolved. This was my first experience with Angie's list and I was 100% satisfied with this plumbing company!
