Very experienced, very professional, easy to talk to - answered all questions simply and directly. No big speeches to make me feel like I knew nothing and had to trust them - they explained things concisely and showed me photographed examples from past jobs to explain concepts to me. Gave me a great price and guaranteed their work! Completed it on schedule and answered all follow-up questions. I would hire them again - for a different project, of course, since what they fixed already is fixed!

This contractor and his workers did an excellent job repairing my cellar wall, waterproofing my cellar and concreting a previously dirt section of the cellar. I can now say I have a "basement" instead of a cellar. They were prompt, at arriving each work day and went above and beyond in helping me to prepare. I hired them for a second job and I am just as pleased with the results.

The is an owner operated business . The owner is very hands on, took the time to understand the needs and was able to suggest the best solutions . The fee estimate was clear and there were no add ons unless discussed in advance related to additional scope of increased work. This was a big job and I was very satisfied with the manner in which Phil and his team performed. I would happily recommend The Basement Expert Inc. and Phil to others and ,more importantly, I am currently engaging them on another project.
