When Gary Came out for the estimate he gave me all the info I needed to obtain a building permit. This involved a few stops to a local law firm to order a Plot plan, the water department to get a sanitary sewer easement construction permit waver and lastly the township building permit. Because they gave me all the necessary paperwork and application forms filled out in advance, this process was seamless. They kept me full informed as the installation date arrived and the weather cooperated. The work was done efficiently and with care . They fully cleaned up the property and removed and took way my 30 year old broken chain link fencing with them. I was fully satisfied with the job and would recommend Straightforward Fence Co. Inc. to residential or commercial property owners in my neighborhood.

Very positive experience! Gary, the owner was professional and detailed. His price was right in the ballpark as my other estimates. It wasn't for the full yard but on both sides of the house in the front and side. His installers were polite and hard working. Conducted themselves very professionally and did a great job. I felt like I was in good hands. Saw a definite reflection of Gary's work ethic. After the one side was done i noticed a problem with the alignment. It was installed in the wrong spot. Off about 8 inches at the one end. When I pointed it out to Ian, the forman, he did not bat an eye but very professionally and politely said he would correct it. Which by the way was not an easy task. It required moving posts and adding pieces. He went the extra mile and never, not even for a moment, made feel like it was a pain at all. The only negative would be that they ran long on the job prior to mine so they showed up at 4PM instead of morning which caused them to work into the evening which was a little bit of a nuisance but understandable. They returned early the next day and finished up the installation. The fence is straight and plum and sturdy, an overall pleasant experience!

On the day they were supposed to come they arrived promptly and worked until it was dark. My property is very rock strewn so the job took longer than anticipated. There were no complaints by the workers. They were completely professional and curteous. They arrived promptly the next morning and completed the job, excepting the three back ordered fence post tops. We were told they would be back and installed the missing tops within the week. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone who asked about them.

I used them but I didn't get them from Angie's List. I actually saw a fence when I was driving down the street and I happen to like the fence and I saw their name and then later on when I was looking on Angie's List for something else, I happened to see them on their list. They did a very good job with my fence, they were very courteous, very fast, and their price was the best. I had three people come out then and two other fence companies. They came out right away, answered all my questions, I was really kind of in a hurry because I had a dog that really needed to go out and it was a pretty big dog and I couldn't walk him all the time, it's going to be a pain in the neck walking him all the time because he kind of walk me because he's getting bigger and bigger so they fit me in the schedule. They said that they couldn't get me in for a while and I said if they could make an exception and so they did make an exception for me and they fit me in. It was a busy time of the year but they put me in and then I found the fence on the internet that I like and they actually made that fence for me. They made the exact same fence for me and I think that was pretty cool. They gave me a book of all the fences they've made so they actually have to make this fence and they did it in like less than a week and I thought that was pretty neat that they kind of customize the fence for me. Their price was very, very good. I had to call back a couple of times because I had a couple of questions and the owner came out and talked with us and then he came out again and his deal was really good. I would recommend them to anybody. I told them to put it up against my neighbor's fence because they have like a cyclone fence, so that there wouldn't be a gap between our fences and they didn't do that and so my neighbor was complaining afterwards because he had to go get out and get some more cyclone fence and put it up against mine. I was in the house and I wasn't paying attention, I wasn't out there watching and by the time I found out about that, they had the poles put halfway down so I couldn't have them take it back out again.

Everything went well except for the estimator measured the fence and the lot behind me was getting a house built and when they did their fence it was 3 feet at one section set back. The new owner told me they measure your prpoery line short by 3ft and told me if i want to move my fence back he would allow it. I was a little dissapointed and can not do anything because it was over4 months after being installed.

The fence was installed and everything is great. The employees are extremely responsive and helpful.

The straightforward team and Gary were great from the start of the project till the fence was up. Gary came out on Saturday to meet with my wife and we had a price by Tuesday. With in a Month the fence was up and looks great. I would recommend Straightforward to any of my friends or family.

Great. Financing was available with no interest. Application was simple and easy.I did not even need to be on site. 1.5 days later the fence was installed. No mess, no fuss, no issues.

After the initial inspection and estimate, Gary, the owner, met with me and finalized all aspects of the job. The price was very good in comparison with other estimates and the warranty and quality of the materials excellent. The three man crew removed the old fence and installed the new one on a Friday and Saturday. I'm very happy with their work and they were very neat both doing the installation and cleaning up after themselves.

I just purchased a new home and wanted the yard fenced in for my three dogs. I called and made an appointment the day after settlement. I met with Larry and he measured the area, went over my options, and called me with the cost two days later. I decided on a 6 foot vinyl for the yard with two gates and a 4 foot black chain link fence around the vegetable garden with one gate. I felt the price was very reasonable and met with the owner Gary to sign the contract. Because of the reviews and price I didn't feel the need to get a second quote. Due to the wet weather we were experiencing the timing was 3 to 4 weeks. Three weeks later I received a call stating that someone would be at my home Monday and Tuesday to install the fence. Nick and his crew arrived on time Monday morning and while his crew was taking the fencing off the truck, he and I went over the order and walked through the backyard. By Monday afternoon two thirds of the vinyl fence was installed. By Tuesday afternoon both fences were installed and looked great. They worked non stop for two days and the second day was very hot and in the high 80s. I was extremely impressed by the work product and work ethic of Nick and his crew. My nephew commented that he'd been watching them and they "really knew their stuff". I would definitely recommend Straightforward Fence company to anyone needing a fence. My yard truly looks beautiful with the work that they did. I couldn't be happier.

From the individual who came out to measure the property, the owner who presented the contract, the installer who worked late into the night, and the co-owner who picked up our check and took pics of the finished product, all were professional and pleasant. They were eager to please, and actually made this a very nice experience for us. I highly recommend this company!!!

Took old fence out. Put new fence in. Took everything old away. I didn't have to do anything from start to finish.

Straightforward fence removed our old wood fence and replaced it with a 6 foot vinyl fence. The man who did the estimate was very professional and prompt. The work was scheduled promptly and completed in less than 2 days. The installers were professional and polite. We installed the fence nearly two years ago and it still looks great, even through Sandy. The price was very competitive. I would highly recommend this company. Great experience.

it went great, they called the week before & let us know what day they would do the work..arrived on time & stayed & completed the job in one day, cleaned up & did a wonderful job.

Fence was installed with few issues. only issue was it took a couple of return visits to get the self closing gate aligned properly to close. since then we have had no issues/problems. the fence installation survived hurricane Sandy without any problems or panels moving.

This company is very professional from the owner to the installers. They work hard and efficiently and are very experienced and polite and professional. They clean up after and ask if we had any questions or concerns. The job was done in one day and the results are very nice. the fence and gates look great. I would recommend this company and I will use them again for additional fence needs.

We never received an estimate.

They were exceptional in every aspect of dealing with them. First, I called them and they were very responsive. They DID what they said they would do WHEN they said they would do it! Second, they were very understanding and competent: They took the information over the phone and immediately processed it and got back to me with an overall estimate. They set up a time for an on site review, and they showed up when they said they would. Third, they came to install when they said they would, and they were very professional and efficient. They were obviously prepped by Gary, who came out for the review, and went about their work in an efficient, professional manner. They didn't have to ask me a thing, they knew exactly what to do. and they did it in a very competent manner. I was really impressed with them. They are a first rate operation, from the owners, to the office staff and the field professionals.

I was incredibly pleased with everything about my experience with Straightforward Fence. Unusually enough, they were recommended by another fencing contractor who didn't do work in my area -- everyone I dealt with was both nice and professional and their price was the lowest of the three I received. I have already recommended them to two friends and will continue to do so.

They were great and I was happy with the experience. They got started when they said they would. The workers who came out were great and they did a wonderful job. I wished though that they were able to pull up pictures from previous jobs so that future potential customers could see their work.

When I first contacted them for the new fence installation, they responded to my inquiries quickly. Their price was competitive. It was about $100.00 lower than another company I requested the estimate from. However, this is the company that puts on a completely different face after the project is done. If you expect a trusted company that you can call later for some repairs, then stay away from this company. Once they finish the big project and get your money, they will disappear. They told me upon completion that if I had any sinking posts or needed any adjustments, I could just call them and they would fix it. That was a lie! I ended up needing some minor adjustments. I called them. They told me that they would call me back. Nothing! I called them again and they told me that I had to pay for the adjustments. I agreed to pay and they said they would call me back. Lying again! In my opinions, this is very unprofessional. If they don't want to do it because it is a small amount of money, then just say so when I called so that I didn't waste my time waiting for their call. I am glad that I have waited that long until now to give them their deserved rating.

Everything was done in a timely manner; responding to the initial call, providing an estimate, scheduling the work and completing the work. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs fencing.

When we decided to have a new fence installed in our yard I contacted three different companies for estimates. One company said that they would not be able to come out for an estimate for about 3 weeks, bummer. Another company was able to give me an estimate within a week but their estimate was hundred of dollars more than the estimate I got from Straightforward Fence. Straightforward Fence was able to come to our home for an estimate within a few days of contacting them and the estimator was very knowledgeable about the fence products that they had to offer us which helped my wife and I decide what fence options worked best for our taste and budget. They were also able schedule the install within a few weeks. The crew that showed up to install the fence arrived promptly and they were respectful of my property and the property of my neighbors. Had it not been for the beautiful new fence that they had installed, I wouldn't have known that they were ever there because they did not leave one speck of debris from the installation. I would definitely recommend Straightforward Fence.
