The experience was great from the get go. Gary was very professional but also very friendly. He was very accommodating and very accessible. He answered all of my text messages promptly even in the evenings and on the weekends. He was very informative and knowledgeable. He took my changes in stride and made great recommendations. The installers were great and cleaned up nicely. I would definitely recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Gary, Marta and Debbie are a pleasure to work with. They always pick up when you call and seem to have all the information particulars for your case always handy. They helped us every step of the process - selection, quotes, permits, installation etc. Very flexible to change the contract when one of the permits proved challenging, and also added another partial fence installed with the new fence. Very pleased with their work and professionalism. Hope to work with them again on the next job!!

From estimate to the finished product, Straightforward was excellent to deal with. When we started the project, we were not sure what we wanted and were nervous about the size and of the job. Three hundred fifty feet of fencing with five gates and all the details involved seemed overwhelming. Larry, who did the original estimate, spent a lot of time with us. Even though we knew they were very busy with estimates, we never felt rushed. Gary, one of the owners of the company, then came out to do the contract and to patiently spell out all the details of the job. When we ran into some problems obtaining a permit because we first needed approval from the municipal authority before the township would issue the permit, Marta, the other company owner, was extremely helpful. Finally, once that was taken care of, the job was started. It took three days to complete. The existing fence including the posts had to be removed and disposed of before the new fencing could be installed. The crew chief, Sam, and installers, Luis and Miguel were super! They worked steadily for three days through sweltering heat to get the job done. Any questions we had were answered and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were professional throughout the process and a pleasure to deal with. Another favorable mention goes to Debbie whom I spoke to numerous times when I called with questions and updates about our permit progress. After my experience with the owners and staff at Straightforward Fence, I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone interested in having fencing installed.

Job was scheduled right away (within 2 weeks) and completed in one day. Three guys on site, very clean and professional. Compared do having materials delivered from a box store and doing the work myself, this was money well spent. Materials alone would have been $2,000 and for an extra $1,000 I saved a lot of time and sweat. Only small issue is the fence seems a little "lightweight" compared to my old pine panels (but it looks 100% better, so still worth it).

Everyone involved was great. Nick and his workers worked from early morning to late in evening to get job completed. Prior to performing work, I had my property lines professionally surveryed and marked. They installed fence acoording to my specifications perfectly. Also helped with township permit paperwork which was very helpful. New fence looks great, provides wonderful privacy and neighbors like it too.

From Bill, the estimator, to Deb at the office, to Gary (owner) reviewing all paperwork with us to the installation crew - everyone wa a pleasure to work with. They did their best to get us on the schedule as soon as possible. They were fair in their pricing. Their installation crew worked quickly and efficiently the entire day. I had seen there signs all over my neighborhood and now I know why. They are true professionals with the customer in mind always. I would definitely use them again in the future!

StraightForward exceeded my expectations. The guys who installed the fence were fantastic. They were very professional and very quick. The price was outstanding. Their quote came in several thousand less than the next closest quote. My wife and I are thrilled with our fence. We got a 6 foot privacy fence to protect our toddler from a very busy street behind our house. When I told them why I wanted the fence they literally came out within three days of signing the contract to install the fence. By far and away hiring StraightFroward is one of the best choices we ever made. I cannot recommend them high enough.

It went extremely well. The initial and follow-up estimates were punctual and accurate. The installation was professional and clean. Since the existing fence was 20 years old, I had expected to have to stain the new sections to match the old one. The company owner had taken into account a "match" of the two fences when he did the estimate. The result was wonderful; I had to return $200 worth of stain that I did not need. StraightForward Fence Company exceeded my best expectation regarding costs, quality and workmanship. I'm a very happy customer.

The estimator arrived at my house at the exact appointment time and Mr. Sherwin, the owner, came a few days later to inspect the property and verify the details of the project. The crew was very well organized and they removed and disposed all of the old fence. The price was very fair and competitive and the quality of the installation was excellent. I am very pleased with the look and quality of the fence. My neighbors also commented that the crew did a ?beautiful job? installing the fence. I am very pleased that I chose Straight Forward Fence and would definitely recommend them (and use them) again. My highest ratings!

Efficiently and as promised

With my measurements, they were able to give me a ball park estimate over the phone with in a few days. Their price was slightly lower than the competition. The decision to use StraightForward Fence was based their Angie's List and BBB rating as well as price. Then I received a visit for a quote and a double check of the measurements. This very closely matched the estimate I got on the phone. the difference was due to changes I made. Then the owner visited me for a triple check of the measurements, and to contract the details. He also provided guidance about dealing with the township for the permit. Ordering the fence was delayed several days, by me, due to easement variance issues. The whole process, from first contact to finish, took about 4 weeks (including my delay). Installation took about 14 hours over 2 days. They did a great job installing, and cleaning up. They were very professional, respectful and courteous. The fence is of high quality and looks great. I would absolutely recommend to a friend. A+

Contacted them through the Angie's list email system. Gary , the owner, got back to me very quickly. He came to do the estimate. He was very organized and professional. We were happy with the estimate and had them do the work. They came in about a week to 10 days to install the fence. The crew that came to do the work was very hard working. It started to rain after they had taken down the old fence. They stayed and installed the new fence, even though it was a cold damp rainy day. Fence looks good.

Arrived when promised and did excellent job on all phases of work. Work completed in 1.5 days. Fence looks great!

Crew did an excellent job of following the slope of the property with the fence they manufactured (can only stair-step on sloped property with the pre-manufactured fence), kept close to the ground for pool requirements and provided a straight, true, vertical and very attractive fence. They also did a nice job of tying into my neighbors fence to close off a gap. Very pleased with the finished product.

From the estimate to the final of the work, this company was great. The job was a rather large job, about a half acre to fence around. Once they showed up they didn't stop or pull guys off the job until it was complete. Three days and done!! Now we can let the pups out without worry and the fence was installed to pool code. So when we are ready to put in a pool, we don't need to redo anything. AWESOME company.

My experience with this company was excellent up until the job was completed and there was a problem with one of the gates not shutting correctly. The good- Their price was fair, their workers were courteous, they exceeded my expectations regarding placing a fence around a very large tree in the fence line. Gary, the owner, even came out to look at my property before the job because I was so concerned about the tree and how we were going to work the fence around it. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and very knowledgable. When the fence was done and installed I loved it! Now for the bad...shortly after installation I noticed one of the gates not closing correctly. I called Straightforward and they said they would send someone out to fix it. However they did not inform me when the person was coming out to fix it. I received a call the day AFTER their employee was out to fix the gate instructing me not to use the gate so the post could set. Too late!!! I called them back and explained I did not know someone was out and had used the gate that morning to put the garbage out and when I went to close the gate it slammed shut (where it had not even been shutting before). So I am guessing the post moved when this happened because it had not set completely. My point being, if they had called and said, we will have someone out there today, don't use the gate for a couple of days, I would not have used the gate. Now the gate is not shutting correctly again. I have had made 2 calls in the last few weeks. The person I spoke with said I will be sure they get the message and get back to you. I have not heard a word! I have even waited a week since my last call before writing this review because I know they are busy this time of year. I would not even be upset if I got a call back saying they would have someone out when they can fit it in. However to just not respond at all is very unprofessional and has quickly changed my opinion of this company. I cannot recommend them when I can't help thinking that once they have your money they don't stand behind their product.

Straightforward Fence was great. Gary came out and did a quote quickly, and also managed to build my fence within two weeks of signing the contract. My yard is an awkward shape, and they did a great job of maximizing the backyard space while not impeding use of my driveway and garage. He told me which plants I needed to trim or move before they came out. All in all, they did a great job, and were much cheaper than the other quotes I got.

Everything pretty much was handled with great ease and quickly. I was on a time deadline and they met it with day's to spare. Everyone I spoke to was polite and helpful. The work is great and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. They not only met my expectation they surpassed it with flying colors. Thank you all at Straight Forward Fencing for my home to look pretty again in that area and to make my daughter's graduation pics & party to be a beautiful place again. :)

Prompt and professional - calls/messages were quickly returned; they called in advance of installation and the crew not only did a good job but consulted with us before and during the installation process. They were organized, cleaned up and left no mess afterwards. Very pleased.

Marta and Rich were extremely easy to work with and professional, even going out of their way to pick up the paperwork from the municipal office when they did not have to. The paperwork and credit application were quickly and efficienctly handled. The workers carefully removed our old fence, cleared a pathway for the new one (even removing stubborn ivy) and installed the new fence, which looks terrific. They thoroughly cleaned up our property after the work was completed, barely leaving a nail from the old fence. Most notably, the workers cut down a branch that was sitting on our old fence and removed the tree fragments, all at no cost. In fact, when we expressed a concern about any damage caused to the new fence following the tree branch removal, Marta guaranteed in writing that the company would cover any costs associated with repairing damage caused by the branch removal. This was above the call of duty and greatly appreciated. I would recommend Straightforward Fencing without hesitation.

Great job!!!! Worked all day, and made sure fence was straight and level. Took the extra time for a very professional job. Good clean up after finished.

The company came to my house and took measurements on March 25. The man said he'd get back to me in a few days with a price. Never heard back .... nothing .... So unprofessional!
