We had called 3 different companies for an estimate. StraightForward came in with the best price. Their quote for a high quality red cedar fence was almost half of the quote we received from a big home improvement store for a thinner spruce fence. The whole process was fast and efficient. Once we accepted the quote Gary came over and walked the property and noted every detail of what we wanted, then we signed the contract. We had some other work being done on our yard, so we called Straightforward once it was done and they came out in a couple of days. The crew was timely and professional and kept me up to date on how they were doing. They got the whole job done in one day, and left the yard the same as they found it, except our run down 20+ year old fence was now a beautiful new fence that will last many years!

We called straight forward fence and they sent someone out to take a measurement. They called us back later that day with several different estimates (different estimates for different material choices). We had a final measurement and price done. Later after the survey was completed they came and installed the fence in a quick day and a half. The fence looks great and the entire process was good.

Straightforward returned my call promptly and courteously. They were flexible on setting up the measurement around our schedule. Make sure you note the differences in the materials Straightforward uses compared with other contractors. I received another estimate within a couple dollars of Straightforward, but the materials from the other contractor just did not measure up. Deb and Marta in the office were very helpful; Gary listened to all of our questions when he came out with the contract. Our installation took three full days as it was a pretty big job. Nick and the crew were great and the fence looks beautiful. I highly recommend these folks.

The fence looks amazing and the experience was great. After moving into the house a year and a half ago my wife and i thought it was time to address the run down fence along one side of our property line. I went about it in the usual fashion and got four different estimates. Gary came right away and was able to give estimate without me being there. The estimate was the best combination of quality and value. I communicated with Marta and Deb at there office to confirm details and chose straight forward fence. The day of the install came and the crew was very attentive and did a great job. I'm very happy i went with straight forward fence and would highly recommend them. the only down side had more to do with township that required two permits to replace an existing fence.

After getting estimates from three fencing companies I contracted with Straight Forward fence to do the installation. The estimates were all relatively close with Straight Forward being in the middle. A gentleman came to give me an estimate several days after I called. He was very knowledgable and explained everything that needed to be done. I wanted to hire a local business so I chose them. The crew arrived one day later than scheduled due to bad weather on a previous job. They removed an old rotten split rail fence and a number of railroad ties along the base of the old fence. They worked non stop and completed the installation in one day. They were professionals in every sense of the word. The fence looks beautiful and I would highly recommend them to install fences in my townhouse community. They also left my property in excellent condition as well as my connecting neighbors property.

Straightforward Fence was the most professional fence company that I had out to my house for an estimate. In addition, every time I called the office there was someone that answered the phone and they were knowledgeable enough to take care of my concerns. The employees that came to my house to do the work were even better. The foreman went through the job with me before they started, checked in with me while the work was being done and thoroughly went through the work upon completion. I couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish.

The guys at straightforward fence were terrific. They explained in detail everything that they were going to do. When an issue came up they sought me out to decide how I wanted to proceed. What a pleasure they were to work with. Even the front office was very receptive and helpful with issues. Would recommend them highly.

I had an excellent experience with StraightForward Fence Company, and I highly recommend them. During Hurricane Sandy, several panels of my wood fence were destroyed, so I reluctantly had to purchase a new fence. I got six estimates, and in the end I chose StraightForward Fence Company. I liked their price, but more importantly I liked their professionalism and knowledge. I replaced my wood fence with a while vinyl one, and I couldn't be happier. The work was done promptly and professionally. I had several questions the day of the job, and the lead installer took the time to answer all of my questions. After the job was complete, the crew made sure to cleanup my yard and driveway of any debris. The fence looks absolutely fantastic and I couldn't be more happier with it!

Straight Forward Fence came out and evaluated the space, helped me plan where the fences and gates should be, gave options for aesthetics, came to my house to have me sign the contracts (with three small children, this is a life saver) and then performed the work. With this company, everything they said they'd do, they did. They worked consistently (no long breaks), they were neat and clean with their work, quiet (seriously, you'd not have even known they were there), and the work product is excellent. Not a single objection to any part of it. Of all the things I did with the new house (painting, lawn, fence, appliances) this was the check I was happy writing. My fence looks fantastic, and every single person from Marta and Gary to the team who did the fence, were a delight to deal with. Very professional outfit. OH--and they took care not to mess up the lawn, as they were working after a storm and the ground was mushy. I cannot be happier with them or my fence.

It went great. They came when they said they would come. They had good respect for the plants along the fence line. They were done when they said they would be done and were very polite.

Every call that we made to this company was answered quickly. An estimate was set up within days. The estimate was done very professionally and explanations of the various material choices, actual internal construction of the vinyl fence product that they use and installation and care of wood vs vinyl and was explained. We were able to see a sample of the vinyl fence and we were very pleased that it was not the "regrind" material that another fence company used. StraightForward uses steel supports inside parts of the fence and the posts are installed into concrete. We were not charged for difficult digging (another company wanted to charge thirty dollars per difficult dig ). As if I wasn't already sure that this is the company that we wanted, the owner, Gary, came out and went over all details again, walked the perimeter, listened to what we wanted and made suggestions when needed. He was patient and answered my MANY questions. In the end we chose a vinyl fence that has almond panels, white posts, an almond bottom rail and white top rail. We wanted the front of the property to be more decorative so chose a white picket-like detail to be added to the top of the panels. The pickets are white.. Thanks, Marta at StraightForward, for the suggestion to make the two posts that flank each gate a bit taller than the others to make the gate stand out. You may not be able to picture the fence but it is REALLY beautiful. We are already getting compliments! The install crew was clean, polite and really pleasant to speak to. They did a fantastic job. I'm so glad that we worked with all of the good people at StraightForward Fence Company!

The installers were prompt, courteous. did outstanding work, cleaned up after themselves, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I will recommend Straight Forward Fencing to anyone that is looking to have a fence replaced or installed. From estimate to completion the whole process was as professional as I could have expected but seldom see when I have dealt with many other contractors in the past.

Overall it was a very good experience and I would use them again. I would definitely recommend them to others as well. My in-laws are particular with contractors and tough to please. They have used them extensively and highly recommended them.The estimator seemed seasoned and was quick and thorough while explaining options to me.The woman who answers the office phone could have been more friendly.I was told the job could be done 3 weeks after I signed a contract. That was very reasonable. The contract part honestly was a hassle, I don't live near their office and couldn't get free until a Saturday to go to their office and sign it. I do understand they wanted to go over the details of the contract so they could perform what I wanted.On the Saturday of our appointment, I had an issue and couldn't meet them at the scheduled time. The great thing was the owner, Marta, said she could meet me much closer to my house to sign the contract later that afternoon. She also guaranteed me a discount through their spring promotion, and gave a discount because I paid by check. That was awesome. The price was great. It was the same as if I had gone to Lowe's or Home Depot and done the job myself. The fence material is of much better quality (twice as thick posts as Lowe's, bottom panel is twice the width and has angle iron in it for stability). The day of the installation the guys were on time. I thought they seemed young, but they were very experienced installers, and knocked the job out in a few hours. The fence looks fantastic and is solidly constructed. They cleaned up everything, and even made the dirt piles in my lawn disappear. My neighbors and friends are very impressed with the look and installation of the fence. I would definitely use Straightforward again.

Found Straightforward Fencing on angie's list and called them for an estimate. They came out to give us an estimate and we were happy with the price that they quoted us so we made an appointment to sign a contract right away. They started on installing our fence in about 4 weeks. The crew were on time each day and worked very well to install our white Newport style fence. We had a 8 foot gate installed on one side of the house and a 3 foot fence on the other side of the house. We love the fence and it was installed on time and we had no problems at all with the crew. It took them 2 days to install the fence. The crew was very good at cleaning up after themselves and did not cause any problems at all with noise. We would recommend Straightforward fencing to anyone looking to have a fence installed. They did a great job for us. We are very happy with our fence and it looks great. It makes the house look wonderful.

I had fence installed on just part of my yard. I had another company tell me the job was too small for them but Straightforward Fence Company was very helpful. Everything went very smoothly. I never needed time off from work. We met for an estimate at a time that was good for me and the fence was installed while I was at work. The fence looks beautiful. The wood is very good quality. I am very happy and will use this company again.

Everyrthing from the first phone call to the guy coming out for our estimate was very smooth. They kept me posted with any changes. In the end it ended up an issue with our dog for the reason we could not use this company.

We recently moved into a new house, and needed fencing for our dog. The back of the property was already fenced, so they joined fencing on the sides to the existing fence. They also replaced a few broken pickets on the existing fence. Initially we were told we would have to wait for four weeks, but they were able to fit us in two weeks earlier. They arrived promptly and did the work in one day as promised. The installers had not been informed of the agreement to replace the broken pickets, but when I insisted that this was agreed upon, they went ahead and did it. I believe that their pricing was equivalent to others in the area. It was by no means cheap, but fencing never is. Most of the cost is labor, and four men worked all day--drilling through rocks and tree roots--to get the job done. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have visible fencing installed.

Company was very professional and competitive on price when initially contracted for fence installation in November 2010. However Company became very unprofessional and provided lousy pricing and service when I contracted for a smaller follow up job to move some of the fencing in May 2012 They refused to acknowledge obvious errors made in the June 2012 work they performed and wouldn't acknowledge short-cuts they made during the initial installation that I subsquently discovered. I had the technical errors they made independently confirmed by both the manufacturer of the fencing and an independent industry reference. This company will provide competitive pricing and great customer service until the job is started. After that they take the money and run, which is why they try and obtain payment prior to you being able to review the job. Their initial pricing favorabillity vs. their peers ends up being more costly in the long run.

Preparing to sell my home and needed a portion of my fence replaced before showing my home.Straightforward fence was receptive and met my needs. The job was scheduled to be done before I expected.They were pleasant to deal with and the job was done to Perfection!! The old fence was removed and the area surrounding left clean.Definitely would use their services again and Highly Recommend them!!

They came out May 17th as promised and finished the work in 2 1/2 days. Everything was done exactly the way we wanted it, Theworkers were very professional and the quality of the work was exceptional. The workers were very neat and everything was left clean. From the day we called for an estimate, everything was handled promptly and efficiently. We changed our minds on the type of fence several times during the process and they were very patient with us and always got back to us right away.

StraightForward Fence company rocks! The whole process from them obtaining a quote and having the fence installed went smoothly. They have a lot of fence options, explained everything, and answered all of our questions. They prepared the permit paperwork for the township so all we had to do was drop it off. Let me start by saying this is the second time we have used Straightforward Fence Co Inc. We were so Impressed with the work they did at our old house we didn't hesitate to hire them to do the new fencing at our new home. Just as before, the work was completed exactly as we asked and looks great. The lob was done quickly but very professional. We will continue to highly recommend them. I contacted Straightforward to have an estimate done for a fence. They arrived on time to complete the estimate, but strangely could not provide the actual "estimate" that day. It took about 3 days to get back to me with the estimate, which I find to be strange. When contracting a company to complete a job, an educated person in that field should be able to complete an estimate on the spot, not take a few days to complete it.
