+ 0 moreInstead of taking the tree down piece by piece as estimated the workers decided to knock it down a hill carefully and cut it into pieces from there. A dangerous job I imagine and one you could tell was a catch 22 as it was a dangerous tree but also concern about property damage to our house that needed removed.
Description of Work: Had a very dangerous tree that was at risk for damaging our house and fence. Due to fence it was difficult to get equipment to move the tree. We got an estimate quickly and the tree was removed within a few days. This was done with no damage to our property.

+ 0 moreVery poor customer service. If they had told me that they cut my cable line when it happened, I could have called Comcast immediately. As a result, I was unable to get my cable line replaced until the following day. P.S. The date of service in July is approximate, since I didn't write it down.
Description of Work: Davey Tree Company was hired by Duquesne Light Company to trim back tree branches in the right of way in the back of my property. Before they began, I talked to them to see what they were going to cut. They pointed out my cable line, which runs through one of the trees they were planning to trim. Later that day, I had no cable service for my TV or computer. When I went back to the area where they had worked, I saw my cable line dangling -- It had been cut. The Davey Tree employees had to have noticed that they cut the cable, but they didn't even bother to knock on my door to apologize. Very unprofessional!

+ 1 moreWe have used Davey Tree for several years. The services we have received have been excellent. Our local representative (Brian Tarbert) has been helpful and professional. We have always been very comfortable with the people who do the work too. We would still be using this company if we had not moved away out of state. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Spring mulching and trimming of trees and shrubs. Also, seasonal spraying of fertilizer and other treatments for trees and shrubs.
