Project went well. The arborist came out and not only assessed the situation but explained the process and what was best for the trees and shrubs on our property. He was also up front about what we could do ourselves and when we should do that. I appreciated the honesty and responsiveness. Our tree looks like a new tree!

i can’t sat enough about this company. They revmoved the trees and did more trimming than I expected. My yard was clean and I was able to see my yard again I would definitely use this company again.

work done in accordance with bid; tree removal was very sucessful but crew left a mess for me to clean up on driveway & street. Stump grinding was very sucessful although fence gate was damaged - crew attempted to repair which i appreciated but it was not done well - i had to spend 45 min repairing it myself.

No one ever showed up to give a estimate. I hired someone not on your list.

Richard Till, the arborist came and gave us an assessment for tree pruning and diagnosed the problem in one of our trees. He was very prompt and professional. He also told us the best time of year to have this work done and we will have Davey Tree out to do it.

Rep came out and gave an enthusiastic, knowledgeable review of the work to be performed. Gave a verbal summary of the estimate. Presented a copy of the estimate. Looking over the estimate later, I noticed that it included an "auto-renewal" clause that they would perform some of the work every spring, automatically. The rep never mentioned this clause during his verbal summary. I didn't want the annual services and asked if a proposal could be written that did not include that clause; rep said he could write it this way; I asked him to. Never heard back. Be upfront about the terms of your contract. If you don't want the job, just say so.

I use them all the time. They're an ongoing account. We've left the house that we used them for but I'd give them straight "A"'s across the board. No problem with them at all. They were punctual. They were very good. We used them for years. They're a little pricey but everything else was very good.

I had to call them to remind them after about a month. Then it took like 2 weeks after that to get another quote for the big tree. They were just late getting their quote and it was just so high, I figured they didn't want to do it. Pricing was on the high end. I got 2 other quotes after that and one was 5 and the other was 8, so 12 was high. The responsiveness was good all the time. I called them and they were like "Oh my God! I forgot about that." Then it was 2 weeks. Punctuality was good.

It was a lot but they did an incredible job. It was worth it. They did a lot.

Had the best experience with the company starting with Douglas Fairgrieve who gave me the initial estimate to the actual crew who did the work headed by Jason Alrutz. Everybody was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and took pride in their craft. They seem to have invested in their back office technology with appointment reminders and online payments made the experience well organized and seamless. Doug also resolved issues promptly and fairly as when it was needed. Would recommend them without hesitation.

They made some very good recommendations before doing any work. The dying tree was tested to confirm whether or not is should just be taken down and thankfully, they determined that it wasn't as bad as it looked. They removed all of the dead wood from that one and hopefully it will perk up again this spring. They were very professional and always took time to answer my questions. When they were finished they cleaned up the yard so well that you'd never guess they were there. And the trees don't look 'pruned' now, they just look natural. I'm very happy with their work.

Davey is a very professional company. They did a great job on trimming the big branches away from my rooftop. The tree was shaped nicely. The also trimmed a few bad branches off of another maple tree....Wold highly recommend

Been and customer for at least five years. Service this year has been absolutely terrible. It appears that the agent only applied applications for fertilization and weed control on only a portion of my yard. Half of my yard looks absolutely terrible. Weeds, dead grass and insects only on half of the yard. Never had this problem before with the company. Complained to their customer service center and received no satisfaction from them for local rep. Advise not using this company. It appears that they have very little regard for their customers and fail to inspect what results their employees are getting. Again, I have been a customer of this company for many years but their unresponsiveness in this matter is forcing me to terminate this business relationship.

The good: The person who gave me the estimate and quoted me a price was very nice, fair and helpful. When I had to call back and say the work done was terrible, he was helpful and agreed to have people come out and fix it. The tree work they did was good, what we had agreed on, and was a fair price. The bad: Whoever did the landscaping work did a terribly careless job. The nice shrub beds I had in the front were completed hacked up, all different lengths, and all debris left in the bed. In the back of the house, the work looked somewhat better, but the plants they put in were basically dead, and the advice I got was to "water them and they should come back". Summary: If you need affordable tree work, these guys are likely a reasonable option. However, I STRONGLY recommend not using them for any landscaping.

They have been doing stuff for us for years. They did fine. We pay $45 for fertilizing. The prices could be a little lower. Their punctuality was good.

They're good. They're wonderful. They are the only ones that have figured out the problems in the lawn after using several lawn services for lawn treatments. They stand behind their work. They've done a lot of work for me. They're just wonderful. They're the best lawn service by far. They have an arborist named Mal Stevens who is wonderful. Everything is too expensive but I have to give them an A because they have come back repeatedly to fix it. I think that's worth a lot of money. Quality is an A+. I would absolutely use them in the future. I'd only use them. I've used many lawn services and they've never done what they promised to do. This company calls you before they come. They're really great.

They did a fair job. There wasn't anything wrong. It just wasn't really what I wanted. They were gone by the time I got home.

I have used them in the past, had excellent service and referred them to others, but not again. I had called them to have an appraisal done for a tree that had already fell. The guy came out, went to look at the tree to give me a written appraisal. He met with me and said things like, "well I don't know what to tell you until we get in there and look around". (Thought that is what he was there to do) Anyways he said something like "it will take 2 guys about 4 hours to complete the job and it would probably be over $1,000.00. I told him that I had a tree taken down before that was no more 30 feet away and it was not that was $850.00. When he told me that I made the assumption that he really did not want to do the job so he was lifting the price so I would refuse. After I thought about it for a week, I called them up to give them another chance. The lady that answered the phone was nice and listened to my concerns. I wanted to know if someone else could come out and see what needed to be done and give me a price. She said that she would talk to the manager and see if he could come out. When she got back in the phone she told me that she would have ne talk to the original salesman and I told her what good would that do? She said sorry, best I can do. I then said to her that I referred Davey to my family and friends by the way the last job went, again she told me sorry.... So, I will let everyone that I know about this company. To me, they only want to do certain jobs and if one seems to be too difficult they will price you out of the bid. So I have learned to be careful of first impressions going forward. Companies need to prove themselves over the long-haul, nit just a snap shot

Service is good. I am notified before each application in case I have other things going on at the house. Since I started using the service, I've not had a problem with weeds.

They were okay. I wish I had known they were here to pay attention to what they were doing but I think they did what they said they were going to do. They don't normally send me bill if they haven't done the job. I know I was scheduled at some point but that was it. They never really said that they were going to be doing this tomorrow, they just did it and sent me a bill. It's pretty hard to see fertilizer on anything so I happen to just kind of go with that. Their prices are not wonderful. They kind of came unscheduled, you can't call the up to say come Thursday and do this or that They're just going to show up whenever they want. You can't schedule them. You tell them you want it done and whenever they get around, they do it. You can't really say they're punctual because you never know they're coming.

It has been good. They come out periodically.

I have them for 3 or 4 years. They seem professional. Our shrubs look great. I don't like switching companies all the time just for price and they seem reputable. They come out if I have an issue. They are discussing what problems you have. They will answer your questions. The guy was very polite and everything. He was very knowledgeable. They were good. I think they were highly priced than others.

I was very satisfied. What stood out the most about their work was the thoroughness. Their price is a little high.
