Very professional.

They arrived when promised, with the necessary materials and equipment. Unfortunately, because of their "lead isolation" I was unable to observe their actual work. (This is why my "overall experience" is only a "B".) I believe that this was unnecessary, but it was established by the Pella person so Infinity was not to blame. It seemed to move ahead in a timely manner, and when they were done there was no evidence other than the presence of the new windows to show that they had done work.

Estimate was received in a timely manor. Contract was very specific including timeline and schedule of payment. Crew was excellent. Very professional and highly experienced. Carpenters had decades of experience. Carpenters worked very meticulously and took great pride in their work. We had them price job having us (homeowner) do the caulking. Carpenters took the time to ensure we knew the proper way to caulk before they left the jobsite. We were very happy with the job, and plan to use KLA again.

We remodeled our own kitchen, which has three large gabled end walls and a cathedral ceiling over two different rooms. We were going to dry wall ourselves and quickly realized it would take forever and probably come out bad, since it's such a difficult area with sixteen foot high ceilings and transitions from old to new framing, we decided to get professionals to do the drywall. We got three estimates. The first estimate just took quick look around, asked very few questions and was in and out in 10 minutes. The second estimate asked a lot of good questions and did more detailed measurements. The third estimate (KLA), was very detailed. Fred asked many questions and took detailed measurements. He also recommended that we consider plaster, since it could help to hide some of the framing differences. He even went so far as to take several pictures as a reference for himself when doing the estimate. We enjoyed talking to him and felt very comfortable. The estimates came back. KLA was the same as the other highest price, but they were doing plaster where the others were doing drywall. They also provided ample references and insurance (which was not the case with all three estimates). We called several references and all were very happy and could only say good things about KLA. All references called had KLA build their entire home. The only complaint we had about the estimate was the payment schedule, which they adjusted to be fair for both parties. We signed the contract, gave a deposit and they were on-site as promised four days later. They were on time and very professional. The blue board was hung by KLA employees. They were excellent, courteous and very pleasant to work with. The plasterers were subcontracted, which was disclosed in the contract with full information, so we could research them also. We had a good level of trust with Fred, so we didn't bother researching the sub. The day the plasterers arrived, Fred was on-site with them, reviewed everything with them and was accessible to them via phone after they started. Fred even followed up with us and them mid day to ensure everything was going well. The plasterers did excellent work and finished in one day. We are planning other jobs and KLA will be the first GC we call.

I had an awning installed a year ago and have had a problem with it. The man never warned me about the awning not being a good choice for my area due to wind. The awning was roof mounted so it was an expensive job. I called Infinity about a extended warranty and there was nothing they could do. I feel I was miss lead when choosing the awning.
