Having had no response from the electrician I called originally, I found JDV Electric, specifically Master Electrician Joe Voci. They showed up when they said they would, they kept in touch with me, and they did a clean job. They covered my rugs and wore booties over their shoes. These people are personable, know what they're doing, and do a professional job. Joe got all the necessary permits required by the city, and advised that I would be contacted by the inspector. The first electrician I called never said a word about permit. I would definitely use Joe Voci again, and have recommended him to my family and friends.

Joe was extremely professional, courteous, and informative. He communicated with me via text the night before to confirm the appointment and was at my house 10 minutes ahead of schedule the next day. He did the job quickly and cleanly while being very respectful of my home. He explained everything that he was doing, and answered all of my questions. When I asked him what things actually needed to be done now and what things were less important, he gave me a straightforward answer. I will definitely be using him in the future when I need any other electrical work done.

Joe called in advance, was exactly on time. He and his partner, Ty, were friendly and professional. I had purchased an Angies' List package for a home electrical inspection. They did the inspection quickly and thoroughly. It took about 45 minutes. Then Joe when back to his van to price out the various options we had discussed. He sat down and talked through the prices with me and explained each option. I am a first-time home owner so I am not really sure if these prices are competitive, but they seemed very reasonable.

My experience was okay. The technician did everything he said he was going to do but the inspection was not as thorough as I wanted it to be. I had an outlet that was not working and he did not get to it. He gave me some prices for some additional outlets and I thought those prices were inflated. He was very professional.

Very professional experience. Mr. Vocci explained the scope of work and pricing before proceeding. He took his time, was very efficient and a very neat worker.

This was an emergency call on a Monday morning after an late night storm. We called 10 electricians from Angies list. Our fridge outlet short circuited. The fridge is built into the cabinetry and we were unable to pull out and plug into separate outlet, making the situation immediate for someone to come out. JDV slipped us into a spot between 1-3 but called around 9 am stating they were able to come earlier. All other electricians were very nice but unable to accomodate us. Joe and his associate diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be more challenging than initially anticipated, and fixed same day. They were professional from the receptionist to the technician. Thoroughly explained the problem to me. Cleaned up after themselves and wore booties on shoes. Very professional. Also, most importantly pulled fridge from tight fit in cabinetry, fixed outlet and pushed back in without damaging anything! Very happy customer. Thank you! Rated price fair because we felt that it was a fair price for the work performed.

They responded very well with that. They didn't charge me very much because it was only a quick job. They did their job alright. I have no issues at all. They seem to be honest in their appraisal and they were able to do the work that I requested in a nice and timely manner.

The work turned out very well. I use them all the time. They know what they are doing, they are very punctual and come when they say they are going to come. They are very clean and clean up after themselves. I appreciate all they do and I know when I call them I am going to get what I want. They are very enlightening. I have learned a few things from them, such as I can't have an electric stove in my kitchen. They are very educated and do the job. If I have questions about anything else or any further jobs they will tell me right there. I can't talk enough about them and would recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. I don't go to anyone else for jobs anymore so I can't comment on the pricing. To me their pricing seems to be alright. I no longer check with other people.

He can to the house and was professional just stated he was unable to perform the work need due to the way my wiring was setup.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They were very professional. They called before they came. I was satisfied with their work.

They arrived on time and went right to work. They were extremely professional and very pleasant. Joe explained the problem with the wiring and told me what had to be done to fix it. He even put on a switch plate free of charge, that may not have been much to him, but I truly appreciated it. Not only will I call on JDV Electric for future work in my home, I plan to recommend JDV Electric to my family, friends and co-workers.

All went well. Joe communicated the options and makes it easy to select what was the best way to go. I would use Joe again and now consider him by electrical contractor of choice.

Need to replace kitchen exhaust fan. They attempted to order the fan and said that the plant is moving and it will take several weeks to get the part. He told me he would stay in touch with me and the manufacturer. No contact in about 10 days and I'm waiting to see what happens. Luckily it's not an emergency.

It went very well. Did a beautiful job. I will definitely use him again and will recommend him to others.

I originally brought a coupon on angie's list to have a ceiling fan installed. JDV responded immediately and an appointment time was set up. The contractors arrived promptly and ready to work. The contractors informed me of any and all wiring issues and once they installed the ceiling fan they asked if there was anything else I wanted him to look at. I showed him two outlets in the master bedroom that needed switching out. I got an immediate quote which was very reasonable an they complete the job the same day. I was really impressed with their price, quality, workmanship and professionalism.

It went well. My fiance did most of the work with them but they were very professional with their quote. They did not lie about anything. Anything that was done above and beyond was covered, like they said, "Okay. Well, if you want to do this, this is going to be an additional." There was no smoke and mirrors. It cost a lot since we had a very old house. It was about $7,000 or $8,000. Our house was built in the '50s and so basically, it was a nightmare of spider web of wires up in the ceiling. So, they took those out, put new junction boxes in, put outlets where they were supposed to be and brought me up to code. A lot of those were my fiance's area but I was just happy as a woman to have enough outlets to my kitchen. We are actually talking about using them again.

It went fine. Professional and friendly service, like always.

Joe completed installation of 2 ceiling lighting tracks one of which had to be integrated with existing track and one which required a wire mold installation. JDV is not inexpensive but, I do believe in the adage that you get what you pay for. I certainly did! Joe responded quickly and professionally and completed the job within my very narrow timeframe. The result is perfection. I was wowed by his absolute dedication to giving me what I wanted. Without my knowledge and without additional cost, Joe took it upon himself to replace my existing track with new so that the color matched perfectly. Would I hire him again? I already have. A great guy and a real professional!

We had just moved into a brand new home as the first inhabitants. The home was bank owned and there were several things that were not finished correctly before we purchased it. One of these issues were some electrical items that were written up by the township inspector. The electricians showed up within one day of calling them and were punctual. They got the job done quickly. However, the price was ridiculously high.

The quality of work is excellent. The care of customer is superb. He is clean and neat, made sure his shoes were clean before entering the house, Prices were great. (All other estimate started at $4000 except 1 came in at $3200. however that man was quite disrespectful at the time of estimate) When I hire a contractor I look for 3 things. Price. Quality. And respect for me and my property (professionalism) JDV Electric more than satisfied all 3 of those
