JDV was super professional and a delight to deal with from their appointment scheduling to appointment confirmation and reminders. They even sent a text with a photo and info of the electrician who was scheduled to provide the quote. I was just planning to get an estimate but was so impressed with the thoroughness and professional of the electrician, Erick, that I had him do the work that day. He had everything in his truck to do the job (!) which saved me from taking another day off work. The quality of the work was top notch and Erick was just fantastic. I highly recommend this company.

Great! JDV is the best contractor of any type that I've ever used. Joe is pleasant, is on time, respects me and my house and gets the job done. I recently referred a friend who had an emergency situation, and she was extremely happy with Joe's work. JDV even sent me a check to thank me for the referral. I hope JDV is around forever.

It was not in stock anywhere locally. He contacted the manufacturer and they were back ordered but expedited shipment which took 6 week which was no fault of the electrician. Repair was completed shortly after fan was delivered.

He showed up and they did a fantastic job. The baseboard heater was having an issue. I have rental properties and so, they came down and changed all the baseboard heaters. They charged me $100 visiting fee but the total cost was less than $150. It was neat and he cleaned up the area even though he was not the one that made the mess. He cleaned everything up.

Joe and his partner are the consummate professionals. He checked and double checked to make sure he was putting the lights exactly where I wanted them. He's the first one I call when I need electrical work done.

JDV Electric is a very nice, family owned company. Kelly sets up the appointments and is helpful and understanding. Her husband came over to do our electrical work. He wore booties in the house, which was nice, and made sure to explain all the work that was being done.

In general, good. They answered promptly, were very helpful on the phone and had an electrician out within an hour or two. He was quite thorough and professional.. My main concern was that a good bit of our time involved sitting down at the kitchen table to learn about JDV's marking process, "straightforward pricing" and $9.995-a-month annual plan, – which I declined. I wanted a relatively simple problem solved, and it was. But the many marketing materials,magnets, referral cards, etc. seemed to take precedence in importance and time. I may use JDV again, but am a little concerned about the sell-sell-sell marketing approach. For that reason only, I give them a B. Otherwise, they were A all the way.

I received a personal handwritten thank you note from the owner himself thanking me for choosing JDV Electric. Included in the note was a $25 coupon! I am very pleased with JDV Electric & recommend everyone to use his service! I will be a loyal customer going forward.

Joe was excellent. Highly recommend. He called 30 min prior to arrival and arrived exactly on time. He thoroughly reviewed all the work that he performed and worked efficiently. He was very clean and wore booties the whole time he was in the house. He cleaned up all his work areas and made sure everything worked properly before moving on to the next project. He is professional and I could not have asked for a better experience.

I already knew what it was going to be because he had estimated. This is the best electrician in the whole wide world. He's that good. He's coming back. We're remodeling a bathroom and he's going to do the fan in there and the lights.

Joe called up after I contacted the Angie's List concierge services when I called 4 other electricians who never called me back. He gave me an estimate for the work, and scheduled with me to come back a few days later to do the actual work. He showed me the shoddy work that had been done previously. It took a 4 hours to get it all done, including snaking some new wiring through the walls, and replacing receptacles and switches. And he cleaned up nicely afterwards.

He was so professional and prompt in his replies. I was really surprised at his punctuality and professionalism. we discussed the problem at length ahead of time and then when he arrived on scene he calmly explained why he couldn't safely proceed. Long story short, I trusted him in my place and his opinion. Would definitely trust him again!

JDV ELECTRIC was very prompt, early in fact which I liked. He put booties on to protect my carpet, I thought that was professional and considerate. Explained everything he did,so I understood how things worked. The whole experience went very well.

Prior to moving to Philadelphia, I owned houses in Iowa, Colorado, and Illinois, and each of those homes at one time or another required electrical work. After working with Joe Voci , I can write without hesitation that he is the very best electrician I've ever used. We bought a condo that required the replacement of the main fuse box and replacing all of in GFCI outlets. In addition, because we installed a tankless water heater, we also needed additional circuits added to the electrical panel. Before the work began, Joe researched the water heater requirements and even called the manufacturer for specifics as well as secured all city permits and coordinated with our building's staff to insure that all was in order before starting. He is thorough and highly professional. He's also very personable--he communicates well, answers questions, is on time to the job, in short all the things one hopes for in professional craftsman. We will be using him again and recommend him highly.

I have nothing but praise for Joe and the company. We have an unusually messy and challenging job ahead of us with an old house that needs a lot of work, and Joe took over an hour once he got here, as part of the free estimate, to answer all my questions and do a thorough diagnosis of what we needed to do and in what order. This will be the second home we've lived in while renovating, and having dealt with dozens of contractors and service providers in the area, we've come to appreciate the value of providers like JDV: prompt and courteous, professional but also friendly, timely with follow up and excellent with attention to details. A lot of flexibility with planning and plenty of financing options too. We called JDV because our first estimate for the job proposed extensive, costly work, and we wanted a second opinion (and a second estimate). Joe's estimate was similar in all respects, confirming what we need to do. Because we have some credit remaining with the other provider, we will likely use them after all, but I would recommend JDV strongly and would definitely use them under any other circumstances.

He was on time, pleasant, and fixed it fairly quickly.
