Josh was professional, personable, and reasonable. After he left we noticed that the sensor on the dryer was no longer working properly. Josh came back within a couple of days and fixed the problem quickly. In addition, he apologized for the inconvenience. Apparently, there was a lose wire that became disconnected during the servicing of the dryer. I would recommend Murphy's Dryer Vent Service if you are in need of such a service.

Arrived promptly and was quite professional, and nice. Was very knowledgeable about my situation, which was a second floor laundry with a rather long duct running from the center of the house to a vent on the outside, about 10 feet off the ground. Actually, I would even say that the technician was enthusiastic about his job and cleaning out our dryer! He got right in there, did some gymnastics go get over the dryer, which is in a cramped space, cleaned everything out, adjusted the hose connection from my dryer to the wall to maximize air flow and put it everything back in its place. He also gave me some tips to reduce dryer lint ?sticking? to the duct work, such as use less detergent and don?t double up on both dryer sheets and fabric softener. Lastly, he got on his ladder and sucked as much of the lint out of our ducts as he could, which I don?t think have been cleaned in nearly a decade, and he said it showed. He said he got our air flow up to 1,650 (which I assume means cubic feet per minute), above his recommendation of 1,500. He said we should notice the top of the dryer running cooler, and the whole system running more efficiently, reducing drying time. Clean-up from this messy job (on the outside of the house) wasn?t perfect, but that?s because there was snow on the ground and he couldn?t, or didn?t attempt to, to get some of the lint he dug out of the duct off the ground. Now there is a lint film everywhere which hopefully I can clean up with a hose when the weather gets better, but I?m OK with it because I think it may have been impossible to clean the job site up any better given the situation. I have to write again that the enthusiasm was refreshing, thanks!

The service person also offered some advice about use of the dryer and its equipment, such as, for example, using too much detergent will cause the dryer to work overtime and every couple of months we should wash the lint filter with soap and water because just removing the lint leaves behind minute particles that make the filter less efficient.

Not much of a story, just friendly, competent, reasonably priced service. Our dog liked him, so he must be all right.

We called them. They came the next day and completed the work within a reasonable time. The technician was very friendly and curtious.

They were very responsive. They are tops in performance and personality. They were very easy to deal with. They know what they are looking for and can locate the problem and get it fixed. He knows the local codes and everything passed.
