Murphy's Dryer Vent Service

Pat and son came out after my dryer thermostat broke again and wasn't heating up. They opened up the piping and it was pristine. They didn't charge me for cleaning which was honest and noteworthy. Gave me some tips on how to get a more efficient load. Definitely recommend.

Had a problem with my dryer and when the repair tech showed up he told me it was a vent issue and recommended Murphy's. They scheduled me up within a few days, confirmed, arrived on time, and finished up within and hour or so. They not only cleaned out my dryer vent, they repaired it in a way I would not have been able to and gave my wife and I some tips we were unaware of that will save the life of our dryer in the long-term. Their price was reasonable for the labor and the parts, they were totally professional and would recommend them to anyone needing dryer vent service. They came highly recommended to us from Mark at Ace Appliance repairs. I placed a call to set up a date for them to come out. They called me back right away and scheduled me asap. Confirmed the night before via call, voicemail and text message. Arrived earlier than expected and started the job right away. They showed and explained to me what was wrong from beginning to end of job. They even took the time to explain to me what to notice next time if i'm having the same issue. The repairs were extremely affordable. Great service, quick, professional, and respectful workers. I will be calling them for any future needs / repairs and would recommend to others. These guys take a real pride and a sense of professionalism in their work. I had some additional issues with the dryer vent not being properly aligned which they fixed. I had been aware of this but wasn't sure how to address it and they found a way to clip it in so that it would not fall out of alignment. Also, the dryer vent had become partially unhooked from the dryer and lint had piled up behind my dryer, something which I had not been aware of. They vacuumed up the excess lint and properly connected the dryer vent to the dryer.

They were fast, professional and courteous. The entire process was explained. Both techs were helpful and cleaned up after themselves. I could not be happier with the results.

Pat and His son were amazing. We weren’t sure what was needed to fix our dryer vent, we explained everything that was happening. They came out took at look and determined just cleaning the dryer vent all the way through to the outside was needed. Pat and his son were able to do it right on the spot. They use compressed air instead of a brush to clean the vent, when all was cleaned there was 2 basketball size balls of lint that came out (most likely the complete vent was never cleaned out) Truely amazing and what a difference it makes. The dryer now dry’s a full load of clothes within 40 minutes. We no longer have to run it twice for 60 minutes. Pat was very honest with answering all my questions and even went a little further out of his normal territory to get my dryer working properly. I will recommend them to everyone and definitely have them back out in 2-3 years for another clean out from dry to outside. They will be my dryer vent cleaners!!!!

my initial call was returned the same day and service scheduled promptly. On the service day, team was on time, polite and efficient. The work was done within 15 minutes. Reasonably price given that I had never had the vent cleaned.

Very professional. My dryer had been running very hot, and I thought it was time for a new dryer. Wanted to replace the vinyl hose so that installation could take place. So I called Murphy's, who came out two days later. They inspected the current hose, and replaced 1/3 of the vinyl with steel (the other 1/2 couldn't be replaced without cutting through drywall. They also cleaned the entire system, something that hadn't been done in over 20 years. I thought my dryer was running was because it was 10 years old. Wrong - it's not running cool and effective. And I didn't need to spend $800 on a new dryer!

Excellent work. Previous cleaner had punctured exhaust vent leading to lint all over the back of dryer and exhaust tubing. They cleaned everything up, repaired the punctures in exhaust tube and cleaned up after themselves.
