It went great! They did a great job - clean, fast and efficient. In a short time, they installed a new vent, cleaned it all and made sure the outside connection was secure. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Kevin and Josh were amazing! I am so pleased with their work. They were professional, knowledgable and courteous. Kevin called me first thing this morning to let me know he would be late because of an accident on 476. My appointment with him wasn't until 12:30, so really appreciated the heads-up from him in the morning. As soon as Kevin and Josh were on their way to my house, they called me to give me an exact arrival time. Once they arrived, they quickly got to work. They were able to find all sorts of things that had been done incorrectly by previous contractors, which is why I was having so many problems with my new dryer. Kevin cleaned out years of debris from our dryer vent, and fixed the exhaust exit from the house, so it wouldn't keep clogging up in the soffit. Josh was able to completely reconfigure my dryer exhaust pipes to cut out 10 feet of unnecessary line. He was also able to move my washer and dryer back, giving me a lot more room in my laundry room - a nice bonus! Now my dryer works perfectly and my drying time is cut in half. Their work will quickly pay for itself. I will be calling them every two years now for maintenance service. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Kevin and Josh!

Kevin and Josh arrived as scheduled, calling in advance to let us know that they were on their way. They worked carefully and efficiently, completing the job in one hour. They cleaned up after the work was completed. Josh gave us good information on how to minimize further lint buildup and left a reminder sticker on the dryer to contact them in 2 years, something we appreciated. Both men were friendly, courteous, and very professional. We highly recommend them for this very important home service!

Josh and Kevin were prompt and professional. They worked quickly and were thorough. Josh took the time to tell us how to maintain the dryer and the vent and explained how we can make both last a longer time and work more efficiently. He was polite and courteous throughout the experience. Arrived a bit late but he had to deal with terrible weather and US Open traffic. Once there everything was great. His partner explained everything about how dryers work and how frequently we should get vent cleaned. Next visit should be less because the additional pipework is was a one time deal.

We've had an issue with the dryer light coming on (message says check vent). Issue started last fall. Their service diagnosed issue then and it worked until now. They tried a different method this time around, which should work better. Very professional company, prices very reasonable. Very trustworthy.

Two men worked efficiently and thoroughly, and cleaned out a large amount of lint from the dryer vent. The dryer wasn't working well before the cleaning, and worked like new after it. The men were professional, pleasant, and did the job very well. They also left the premises clean after the job. I highly recommend them.

Our dryer was working properly, but giving us an error code indicating that we had an air flow problem. We purchased a Big Deal from ProClean to have our dryer vent cleaned. They made 2 visits to our home, and instead of getting our vent clean, they actually blocked the vent completely and gave up, (keeping our money!) After their second visit, our dryer would not dry anything at all - it actually made the clothes wetter. We called Murphy's Dryer Vent Service and explained our problem and what ProClean had done. Kevin and Josh came out promptly and on time. They used the proper equipment and had our entire vent cleaned out from one end to the other. They had no problems going around the bends in the vent. They also gave us some interesting tips to maintain our washer and dryer. We were highly satisfied with the service we received from Mruphy's Dryer Vent Service, and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Sent Murphy's an email through their website and heard back from them the next morning. They were extremely professional and took the time to talk me through my concerns, ultimately talking me out of the job I was expecting to do. When I do need to my dryer vent cleaned, I will be calling Murphy's.

Appointment made at my total convenience. Gave estimate over phone (and stuck to it). As a female, I never like being home without my husband when repairmen show up, but had no choice. Uncle/nephew duo showed up. Very friendly, very professional. Just normal, nice people. They quickly found a huge hazard, showed it to me, fixed it with a part they had on the truck (did not charge extra), then cleaned the length of the vent. Took 45 minutes, cleaned up after themselves, offered to take garbage out, applied Angies discount, gave me tips on how to keep vent clean, and drying time was reduced from 2 hours to about 50 minutes. Will use them again.

From my initial phone call to arrange a cleaning through the completion of the job, Kevin and his partner were professional, polite, personable and prompt. When I first called late in the week, I expected to wait for service, but I was offered an appointment for the following Monday. We agreed on a time, and Kevin said he would call when leaving the job before ours to verify his arrival. On Monday he called at exactly the time he had promised, and he arrived precisely on time. After exchanging introductions, Kevin and his partner went right to work. I had some questions about our system's set up, and Kevin took the time to provide the answers I needed. The job took about 35 minutes. The men were careful as they moved their equipment through the house, and they cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. When the job was finished, they even took a moment to show us what to look for in the future as warning signs to prevent possible problems. Overall, my wife and I could not have been more impressed. We will definitely use Kevin again.

Excellent! After receiving many quotes from skilled and qualified handymen, I was advised that the only way to get my new appliances to fit within my small laundry closet was to install a behind the wall dryer vent, which came with a $1K + price tag. Desperate and not quite ready to settle, I called Kevin. He answered the phone on my first attempt, asked insightful questions and stated he would "solve my problem!" ...I liked him right away. He was not only professional, but his warm demeanor made me feel hopeful and confident. He and Josh showed up two days later (right on time) and got busy altering the installation of my dryer. Once complete, Kevin took the time to explain how to properly use my new appliances, demoing how to use both machines and offering valuable insight....which as a new homeowner, I found extremely helpful. At this point, the job was done and the service was paid for; however, Kevin and Josh were so personable, we found ourselves chatting for a bit. They offered their opinions on the 10+ paint samples we had splashed over our walls, our lighting fixture "dilemma" and enjoyed a tour of the house. While in the kitchen, Kevin noticed a leak from the ceiling....right under where the laundry room was located. Before I even had time to observe the leaking water, Kevin and Josh were up the stairs to save the day. Turns out, my boyfriend had installed the washer to the wrong pipe, which caused the leak (did I mention we are first time home owners?). They identified the problem, and reinstalled the washer to the correct pipe...while accepting no additional money in return. If I could provide an A+ review, I would. Kevin and Josh was professional, personable, talented and made me feel like they had my best interest in mind during the entire experience. I got their name from Angie's list. Called and made an appointment. They arrived a few minutes early and completed the job in hort order. the price included tax and net of a discount for using Angie's list.

My dryer was taking a VERY long time to dry the clothes. Had a repairman out to "fix" the dryer. Dryer was fine, it just needed the vent cleaned. I went onto Angie's List and found Murphy's Dryer Vent Services. I called on Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday. They called before coming, arriving on time. They were very friendly. They got right to work and were finished in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this company. I will call them again in a couple of years to clean the vent again.

I emailed Murphy's Dryer Vent Service at night and Kevin called me back the next day. They scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. They were on time and super nice. Josh and Kevin really know their stuff. They gave me a super reasonable quote after looking at what needed to be done and did the work then (that day - WOW!!). Very clean, explained everything and were super fast. It looks GREAT and we now have permanent venting (no more of that flexible dangerous stuff you can buy in a box from Home Depot). I feel very safe now. These guys are the rock stars of venting. I will be using them for vent cleaning in the future and will recommend them to all my friends.

It was a great experience. They showed up right when they said they would. I explained what I wanted done and they took a look at the whole dryer set up and mapped a strategy for what needed to be done. They called me to look at the project and explained everything they were going to do. They replaced the existing plastic corrugated piping with a new metal smooth pipe. They also had to replace the outside vent. When the project was done they showed me everything they had done. I was impressed that they had an outside vent that was brown and matched the paint on my house! They gave me instruction on the best way to wash and dry my clothes in order to maximize the time between cleanings. They also explained how I know when I do need the lines cleaned. They were quick, efficient and very personable.

My husband had attempted to clean out the dryer earlier this year with a shop vac, but apparently he missed quite a bit. Our dryer started overheating this weekend, and we were afraid to even use it. I called Kevin immediately, and he was willing to talk me through cleaning it ourselves, but we decided we would feel more comfortable having it cleaned by a professional. That was the best decision we could have made. Kevin and Josh fit me in on Monday, and they were wonderful. I couldn't believe how much stuff they removed from the vent that we did not know was there. It was caked on, and they explained to me that it was caused by using to much detergent in the wash withour rinsing thoroughly enough. They were a delight to work with! I highly recommend them!
