They did a great job. There was a little snafu with the scheduling but they were able to fix it easily. Once they were out here they did a great job and I have not seen any mice since.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and the service turned out satisfactory. They were prompt and every thing from the time that I made the request. I put it in, and the guy was with me on phone, within 2 hours. He was here 3 times, and he solved the issue that I was having. This was the first time that I used him and Angie's List. He was a personable guy, his personality covered up for some of the shortfalls, but he came in, did what he had to, and left. I have had this house for 3 years, and you would see a mouse or two during the winter, and you would put a trap down, and it was done, this time, these things came in here like they were on a convention. I heard a rustling noise, when I was a sleeping and I turned the light on, and there was a mouse in the trash can. I saw where it went, and when the guy came, I showed him where the mouse went, and he told me that was the escape route, he also educated me on how the mice climbed into the bedroom from a pipe. He came in and within 3 or 4 weeks, I saw no remnants of anything. He said that he does not let them leave, he kills them. The problem got eradicated, so I was a happy camper. He explained me that what he was putting would not bother me or the pets, but it would disturb the mice. He blocked all the little exits. There was only one time, when he didn't show up when he said he would, and without calling.

Everything was fantastic, The tech (Billy) was on time, was very friendly and professional. Will absolutely use him again and will recommend him and the company.

The provider was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, polite and hard working. In the areas where the soil next to the house foundation was not accessible (concrete porch, driveway and patio), he bored holes through the slabs approximately 12" apart to apply the Termidor. His methods and tools were consistent with industry practice. I should mention that the price was an Angie's List limited time special of 50% off the regular price for termite treatment. However, I would not hesitate to recommend Roughneck Pest Control to my friends due to the positive experience and I would not hesitate to call them back in the future should I need services for pests other than termites.

Very well. Came out three times: (1) Inspect for any entry points and seal them (perimeter and inside of the house/basement and etc.) (2) Inspect work from previous look for trailings, droppings and etc. Install traps, bait thoughout the house and basement as well as potential hiding places (3) Inspect traps, add additional bait. Went well without issues, explained the process during each visit. Adds an additonal guarantee for 6 months in case of return. We feel confident that the problem has been eliminated. They do provide a time window as to when they will arrive.

We recently found winged ants in the house after we had a tree removed. Fearing they were carpenter ants we decided to bring the professionals for their opinion. I called Roughneck around lunch time and had the owner of Roughneck out at my house three hours later. After checking out the ants he told me they were swarmer ants and they will go away on their own. He is very knowledgeable about his field. He explained what swarmers are and how they differ from other ants. He left my house not selling any services or goods, saying they were not needed. I would definitely use/recommend this company in the future!

When my mom, little sister, roommate, and I first started getting bitten, we were unsure completely of what it was that was biting us. Our house is extremely clean and organized and although we knew we were being bitten while we were sleeping, we didn't see anything under our mattresses or around our beds. After a while we concluded that we must be getting bitten by some sort of mite, and we spent a lot of time washing all of our linens and throwing all un-washable bedclothes in the dryer on super high heat. For a while nobody was getting bitten in my house except for the roommate. Later on the roommate moved out and all of the sudden everyone in my house started to get bitten again! We realized that whatever was biting us probably came into our house when the roommate moved in her foam mattress from her old apartment. After doing more cleaning the only person getting bitten was my mom. We were pretty busy at the time and tried not to worry about it, but then one morning my mom woke up screaming because she actually saw the bedbugs that were biting her underneath her sheets! Panicked, my boyfriend and I helped carry the whole queen sized bed and mattress outside and trashed the whole thing, then thew away all the non-washable bedclothes and washed everything else. When my sister got home from school we realized she had been getting bitten in her room too, so we cleaned out her whole room as well. Then we bought this product called diatomaceous earth which is supposed to kill bedbugs and we sprinkled it all over our house. Then we decided to have everyone sleep in my room, which was the only room that seemed to be bedbug free in order to try and starve the bedbugs that were in my mother's and sister's room. My sister stayed in my room for about two weeks and then moved back to her room, and didn't seem to be getting bitten since moving back. My mother stayed in my room for almost two months and when she moved back in her room she wasn't getting bitten either. We all thought we had finally solved the bedbug problem after about half a year! About a week after everyone had moved back to their normal places though, I started to get bitten, and shortly after that my sister started getting bitten again! At this point we felt there was no other option but to hire an exterminator. We went on Angie's List and found a lot of good bedbug reviews for Roughneck Pest Control. Even though it was about 10:30 at night when we called, we got a response from the owner, Bill, within an hour. He called and asked us to explain the whole situation. He was very understanding and calming to talk to. He reminded us that bedbugs were a phycological bug and that the damage they do to you mentally is a lot more than the physical harm. He told us that the best way to handle bedbugs was to try and stay as calm as possible and live your life as if everything was normal as best you can. Then he gave us a description of some of the different chemicals, tactics, and processes he uses, and explained how they're different depending on each situation. Then he gave us an estimate based on our description which was below other quotes we had heard, and told us he himself would be coming out the next day. On the day of the appointment he came exactly on time. First he talked with us for a little bit while we re-explained everything that had happened and all of the things that we had done to try and stop the bedbugs. The first thing he did was congratulate us on our efforts and explained that probably what happened was we effectively killed off all of the living bedbugs, but there were unhatched eggs laid around the house and that they had hatched and were now feeding and breeding all over again. He reiterated that this was a process which requires as much calm and optimistic attitudes as possible. He explained that he works with his customers throughout the entire process and that he always responds to calls and texts at any time of the day or night no matter how insignificant a matter it is. "Even if it is four in the morning and you're just freaking out crying because you are afraid of sleeping in your bed, I will pick up and help you through it, and help you to calm down. I am here with my customers through the whole thing." After that Bill asked us to give them a tour of our house and point out any places where we had noticed activity. As we walked through the house and we explained that in certain rooms such as mine and my sister's we hadn't even found a single bug, we just knew we were being bitten. He told us that was ok and also that based on the work we had already done ourselves and the clean and organized manner of our house he was going to bring down the price of the job because the amount of work he was going to have to do was lowered because of our efforts. This was unheard of to us. Once the tour was over we came up with an appointment plan. There are three separate treatments he told us, and after the third treatment he begins a 6 month warranty. Often times, he said people will have to have a fourth treatment, he said it was normal because bedbugs are very persistent and there are almost always stragglers. If he has to do a fourth treatment he told us he would just restart the 6 month warranty. Anytime the bugs come back within that time the warranty restarts. Bill told us that between now and the day after tomorrow when he'd be coming for the first treatment that I should empty the shelves that were underneath my bed and empty any clothing drawers that I had. He also told us that bedbugs hate witchhazle, so if we wanted to avoid being bitten between now and then, we should put a bunch on our bodies before bedtime. The first treatment came the day after the initial tour visit. Bill came back with an assistant and they sprayed the whole house starting with the bedrooms and then working their way through the downstairs. While they were spraying in my room, me and my mother were ripping the sheets off of my sisters top bunk when I finally saw a bedbug alive in her room. After that Bill called me into my room and showed me where the eggs were stuck to the top back corner of the shelves underneath my bed, so far back I never would have noticed them. After they finished this first spray, I stopped noticing any bites at all, even though Bill said that we probably would be bitten at least for the first few days. The only thing that was very hard for me about the whole process was that as Bill explained, the only way to tell if the treatments were working was to sleep in our beds like we normally would, so I was basically bait, and that was nerve wracking, but Bill was very understanding about it. The second treatment Bill did was less intense and quicker. After the treatment he explained that we may start to see some activity because that chemical sort of reawakens the bedbugs, and I did see two, but they were high up in the corners of my bedroom walls and when I tried to squish them they seemed like they were already dead. We were not bitten again through this whole time. The third treatment turned out to be more of a checkup than a treatment, Bill went through the house to check that everything was ok and then told us he was going to start the warranty. He said not to worry that we were re-infested or had missed some major section if we get a bite or two, because he said there are always stragglers. I did in fact get bitten, once per night, for two nights after that third visit, and I was really worried because I was scheduled to go on a long trip and didn't know if I was going to have to cancel the trip so that I could stay as bait to complete the process. I called Bill crying at 5 in the morning after the second time I had gotten bitten and he told me not to worry about it, that I should go on my trip, it's just a straggler and it would be dead by the time I got back, and if not, he'd just come back for another treatment. I have been back from my trip for about two weeks now and haven't gotten bitten once, and my mother and sister have not gotten a single bite since the first treatment. We haven't seen any bedbugs or eggs or evidence of any activity. I would strongly recommend Roughneck Pest Control for bedbug problems. Bill was extremely thorough, knowledgable, understanding, nice, prompt, reasonably priced, and even pretty funny. If you have a bedbug problem, you should call Roughneck Pest Control.

I ordered through Angies List and I received a call within 20 minutes of that order. He came out at my convenience and explained to me that all I had were flying ants, not termites, which was a relief. Then he went around and sprayed every inch of the house, including pipes - any place an ant can crawl. Then he sprayed outside around the foundation just to be sure. I have not had another ant since. They were amazing.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. If you treat for termites, you really never know but he was very professional, he was a very nice guy, and I was happy with it. The proof will be if I have termites again but I was impressed with him, I think he did a good job. I think he was very knowledgeable, very easy to communicate with, and just an overall good guy. I had termites so I had to get somebody quick and so I went on on Angie's List and it looked like it was a pretty good deal compared to taking it on to Terminix or working with something like that. The timing was right so it worked out. If the termites do come back, I have a guarantee so they'll come back. I'll definitely use them again.

After doing my research and speaking with several exterminators providing bedbug exterminations from all over the tri-state area we decided to go with Roughneck Pest Control for a few reasons. 1. I sent Bill a picture and he immediately identified the bug as a bed bug (others told me that I would need an in-home inspection first which I would have to pay for.) 2. His ability to make you feel comfortable on the phone within minutes by explaining his knowledge and process 3. The guarantee on the contact can not be compared to any others. Roughneck will continue to service your problem until you are satisfied and your issue is truly elimated (Thank goodness for this because those pests are resilient!) The first visit was just a few days after our first conversation because we had to prepare our household goods according to procedure which was a pain but easier then expected (place everything in the infected rooms into bags, does not need to be washed immediately, and seal by tying then only open for washing). Then we received two additional visits to ensure that the bed bugs were gone which is standard process. Unfortunately, it took several more visits over the following months to finally kill off all of the bedbugs, which Bill had explained could happen depending on the size of the infestation. Bill was extremely flexible with his schedule which really made this annoying process a little easier to deal with. We called him on a week night at 8:00pm and by 9:00pm he was at our door ready to spray! We are beyond pleased with his professionalism and services. If we had not gone with Roughneck we would have likely had to pay triple or quadruple the price because our guarantee via other companies would have expired when we continued to find those resilient suckers still in the house. I would recommend Roughneck to anyone who wants a guaranteed impeccable service with knowledgeable employees.

Called to schedule appointment Bill answered call personally and scheduled appointment for following week. Due to series of unfortunate events appointments had to be rescheduled -- Bill personally came out on a Saturday morning to rectify and refunded all monies paid (thru Big Deal) -- Bill's comment "values his customers and their business - not how he does business". He was professional, asked if we were having any issues and took the time to explain what he would be doing and how often it should be repeated. Very polite, professional and precise.

Bill and his helper were very courteous and informative and professional while treating our house. They went that "extra mile" and handled some Bees that were swarming in our front yard and also took care of some crickets that were in our basement.

They were good. It was a one-time work. They were fine. They came when they said they would.

Bill, who is the owner of the company, came and sprayed for ants on 2/19, and the deal included a follow up a week later. When he returned a week later I informed him there was no change in the amount of ants I was seeing. He sprayed again and went out of his way to make a third visit, free of charge, to make sure they were gone and that I was happy. The fact that he scheduled an extra visit showed dedication and a willingness to make his customer happy. I will definitely use him again.

He did just what he had told me and did not pressure me to buy more services. It was such a pleasure to work with this guy, I have been in the housing business 30 years. He was very punctual and professional... and cute!

They got rid of them and gave me a year warranty. I couldn't have ask for better guys. I liked them so much, I signed up for a monthly service with them. They gave me discounts. They came out like four times and the owner came out himself to make sure everything was right.

The first day they set traps, and sprayed the eves. The second day they returned to empty the traps. They charged me for removing two squirrels, but I did not see any evidence of any squirrels being caught. I feel like they were trying to scam me. They eventually got the squirrels out of the eves, but I will not be using them again, nor can I recommend them.
