From the very beginning of the process, remodeling concepts was a pleasure to work with. The job was finished in a timely fashion. Very pleased with the end product. I have already asked them to come back to help me remodel my bathrooms.

Purchased a new home and we were told that there was a broken vent collar and they repaired that. Went ahead and purchased the BD and had the company come out to take a look at the roof. I noticed that there was a leak in one of the vents in the bedroom. I called them back for the water spot and they sent somene back to let us know the water spot wasn't an issue and it was free of charge. They did great work and very easy to deal with.

We are planning to put our house on the market next year so I wanted the roof maintenance package to take care of any little things that might be an issue. The ONLY issue I reported as a problem was a possible leaking vent collar. I realize these deals are a source of potential sales for companies...but when it is a blatant sales attempt, I get annoyed. Dave came out and checked out my roof then showed me some pictures he allegedly took from my roof...including one that showed black asphalt shingle over a curling/buckling cedar shake. His diagnosis was that I needed a new roof and he provided an estimate for this, including a higher cost to do this work because of the cedar underneath. When I purchased this home in 1990 the roof was replaced. I saw it completely removed to bare plywood. There were no cedar shakes. I asked him to show me the place where he took the picture and he could not. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I thought maybe the roofing plywood had separated and curled. But he couldn't show me where he took the picture. I told him I just wanted the maintenance to be done. He told me that he wasn't even the one to do the maintenance. Another guy was sent out to do the work on another day. I could hear him working up on the roof for 20 minutes or so. Being afraid of heights, I didn't climb up to see what he had done. But he clearly had renailed some things. Didn't replace the vent collar that I had mentioned...but I am not sure the sales guy even spoke with the worker. Being new to Angie's list and this being the first deal that I purchased and used, I was a bit leery of trying this again. It was not an experience that built trust.

Dave was on time & on budget. I needed my deck built within 30 days after another contractor failed to show up. Everything was perfect and on time.

Haven't scheduled the work yet.

Both jobs--each of which took all day--were performed with a minimun of disruption. The grouting dust was contained and the new grout looks terrific. In the case of the door to the deck, it had to be completely removed from the frame, the damaged area repaired, and the door replaced. I can't even tell that the door was taken out. The workers arrived on time and were very professional--if we need to have work done on our home in the future, Remodeling Concepts will be the group we will call.

I really liked working with these people. They were pleasant to work with and everything was done in a professional manner, on time and as expected. I will use them again for other projects and definitely recommend them.

My problem was on my roof but in side my home so I had a different issue that need to be addressed with this service call.

The owner came out and went on top of the roof, gave an estimate in addition to some advice on what I needed to do b4 they came out. I had some masonry work that needed to to repaired prior to remodeling concepts coming out. They came out on a Thursday morning about 7am and finished around 8 830p and finished cleaning up the next day. I had a few real minor issues that needed attention and they were taken care of promptly with no problems. Clean-up was impeccable, work was professional and the workers all respectful and diligent. The owner came around days later for final inspection, went up on the roof and suggested some ideas for my next project. I'm so happy about how this went that I had to take videos b4 and after in addition to pics. They were very organized in staging the material and the trash pickup. If I only knew how to post those pics!

The workmen arrived at 7am as scheduled. They laid plastic sheeting around the house to catch debrie. The work was done efficiently. When they were finished they cleaned up the yard of all waste including using a magnet to pick up loose nails. I was amazed that the work was completed in one twelve hour day.

I was very pleased with the way the inspection went and with Dave who completed the inspection. I felt he was fair and honest and I would use this company again.

Found Remodeling Concepts LLC through Angie's List via one of their "Big Deal" coupons for . Called their main line, courteous and prompt customer service got us an initial visit right away. Some trouble in communication over the next couple of weeks (mostly our fault for not being available due to busy schedules), but finally locked down an install date and the type of shingling. Roofers showed up exactly on time, got right to work, and even with having to replace all of the plywood over the sun room (had condensation moisture damage), the job was finished by early afternoon. Quality of work was excellent, been through two rainstorms since and not a single leak. Reasonable price for the extra plywood and removal service, total cost was still an amazing bargain for the quality work that was done. Highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again.

We met with Dave Martin, owner of Remodeling Concepts, who explained the details and cost of a roof replacement on our ranch style home clearly and concisely. We then purchased a $5499 coupon through an Angie?s List special offer. We ended up with a roof estimate for $8859 that included Owens Corning architectural shingles (our roof was larger than the square feet included in the coupon offer). Compared with our other estimates of $12K and $14K, this seemed like a good deal. Most calls to the company were answered by Hollie, the office manager. I can?t say enough about her responsiveness and follow through. She provided me with locations where I could check out the shingle colors on new roofs and consistently kept us up to date on any schedule changes (it was very rainy). The work crew arrived on time and they went to great lengths to protect my prized flower garden by erecting plywood covers. The roof replacement was completed in one day and the cleanup was completed very well. The only problem was the huge truck that delivered our shingles. We have a very narrow driveway and the delivery truck cracked part of our macadam at the driveway entrance. When I mentioned it to Dave he was very upset. He explained that he specifically requested the delivery company to use a small truck, since he knew the tight width of our driveway. We really appreciated Dave?s follow up when he patched the macadam cracks himself, having prior experience in blacktop paving. This is an honest and up front company. They are professional and offer personalized customer service care that is rare in business today. We are pleased with our new roof and will certainly use Remodeling Concepts again!

Used a deal certificate we purchased from Angies. We were going to be away on vacation when they planned to do the work, so they offered to do the job while we were away. When we came back , the job was done, and the new gutter performed flawlessly. I would definitely used them again for gutter work and any other type of work they do.

I'm not sure if I would use them again. It seems to be a problem with many companies in the Philly area; using labor that is not English speaking, and their legality in the US is questionable. This is a quote from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services website: "You must show that you can speak, read, and write basic English to pass the Naturalization test." So, when I walk out the door, because the employees are moving my ladders around, and ask "who's in charge?", then get NO response except blank stares, I'm gonna wonder about the situation. They did not speak English, not even a little. I think it's a wonderful thing that you can come to our country and start from almost nothing, work hard, and make something of yourself. But I also think it should be done properly, so that you do become a citizen, and you DO pay taxes, and share the same burdens the rest of society shares. Anywho, the work was okay; they didn't replace some of the areas I thought questionable on the roof - I hope I don't regret that decision down the road! Overall the roof looks nice, and the company was respectful, but not having anyone at my house for over an hour who spoke english (and my Spanish isn't that good), was awkward and just wrong. And honestly, I hate the thought that these men might be working for a LOT less than they should, if they're not here legally - and that is taking advantage of them, which is an awful thought as well.

We were very pleased with the overall job. They responded to our call quickly and had a good knowledge of their product, cost options and product alternatives. We felt confident in proceeding. The job was adequately staffed and prepared in advance. Thus, while it took two days, it would have been longer if they had skimped on workmen. They were also responsive in following up on some small items involving molding and caulking. They also resolved some estimating issues in our favor. The windows are great and we have had no problems.

I recommend them to my friend. I trusted him and gave him the job. I didn't compare prices. I have heard from people who have paid more for their roofs and I have heard from people who have paid less.

Had a prior estimate before calling Remodeling Concepts and the price was ridiculously high. Also, had to endure a 3 hour "presentation" from them. Called RC and Dave the owner came promptly as scheduled (actually, a little earlier) and had the estimate done, written and presented to us in 25 minutes. Work was done a couple weeks later and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The quality of work, the price and efficiency was superior. Thanks Dave, Jack and crew for all your hard work. We will definitely consider Remodeling Concepts in the future for any other work we may need to have done.

Remodeling Concepts was one of 3 companies I contacted for an estimate for a small siding job (cover some wood sections of our home and garage - most of the house is brick and stucco). They were very quick to schedule the appointment and the gentleman who provided the estimate was very professional (his name escapes me at the moment). Overall, though we chose another company whose price was lower, I had a very good impression of this company and I would definitely call them for an estimate for future work.

Punctual to visit, view, and estimate job. Final bill exactly what Dave had estimated. Dave obtained all permits, inspections. Reinforced footings under current patio to code. Built roof, framing, two doorways. Removed iron railing on adjacent porch and enclosed to elbow height. Installed ceiling on patio enclosure to match ceiling on porch. Installed ceiling fan, track lighting. Installed additional electrical outlet. Screened patio + porch. Installed stair rail from porch to connected patio. Finished framing, bottom kick panel, facia, and porch enclosure with siding. Finished outside former shed foundation into pad for barbecue. Installed gutter along entire back of house including new porch enclosure. Inside, removed 1/2 wall between kitchen and sunken family room. Installed countertop and finished all woodwork & framing to match both rooms. Moved electrical on wall and installed switches for patio enclosure fans, lights on remaining wall under counter. The entire job went well. Electrical subcontractor was excellent. Siding took longer, delayed completion of job slightly. Still finished within our acceptable time frame. Dave was very easy to work with, accommodating to any of our questions/changes. His on-site foreman, Tony, was equally easy to work with and very neat. Kept the worksite in good order.

Before choosing a contractor, we got 5 different quotes. Dave came out and was very straight forward with the products and the pricing. He didn't put any pressure on us to decide right away, which I liked. His prices were fair and we got a good feeling about his company. They removed our old siding and gutters and did a nice job of keeping the yard clean. The scrap from the new siding and gutters was kept under control too. The work started and finished in the time frame that was quoted to us originally. All of the workers were very professional and polite. Overall we were very pleased with the price and the finished product. We have people stopping to tell us how nice our house looks now. We would hire Dave and his company again for future projects.

They showed up on time for the roofing job and completed it in a day. Nice work. Could have done a better job on cleanup though. Gutter replacement went very well, and they went the extra mile.

I called the office of Remodeling Concepts on 6/15 in response to an Angie's list offer to replace the collars that go around our roof vents. The offer was $99 for up to 4 roof vents. The young lady who scheduled the appointment was very professional and pleasant.The appointment was set for 6/25 at 9:00am. Dave (owner) was prompt and arrived 15 minutes early. We discussed the work to be done and he asked if I had any other concerns about the roof. I had 2 loose shingles on a small section of roof over one of our windows. Dave went straight to work, replaced the 3 collars and repaired the 2 loose shingles. Our roof is 18 years old so I asked him to take a look and let me know his opinion on its status. Dave came to the door with camera in hand and showed me pictures of the work he had done and several pictures of our roof. He said we probably would get 1 to 3 more years out of the roof. Dave was a real pleasure to work with and he did a great job. I highly recommend him and his company to anyone considering a new roof or repair. AAA+ company.
