I was very pleased with the professionalism and cleanliness of the job. I would recommend them to anyone in my area. They were very timely with setting up an appointment and responding to come do the job. The $1,000.00 deposit was a great motivation to get this company to come out. I feel that this was a good support system to get the job done right.

Soon after I purchased the Big Deal, I received an email stating that they had received the request and someone would be in touch in two weeks to schedule an in-home appointment. A week or so later I received a call and scheduled an appointment. The representative arrived as scheduled and noted my preferences, took pictures and measurements of the current Master Bath and asked me questions about what I wanted. The representative was courteous and easy to talk to and seemed to understand what I wanted. He advised me that he would take the details back to the office and a designer would work up the plans and would get back to me in a couple of weeks. Several weeks later I received a call that the preliminary design was done. Remodeling Concepts requires this meeting to be at their showroom (as noted previously and is so that they can show you their showroom with examples of the type of fixtures they have suggested). I met with their designer and she went over the drawings, specifications and materials. She then presented the cost estimate if Remodeling Concepts would do the job. I thought the design was very good, the estimate was appropriate and they were professional. The Big Deal was to get this preliminary design and estimate for $75.00. I grabbed this opportunity because I wanted to redo my Master Bathroom, but had no idea how much it would cost. This was a cheap way to get an approximation. Remodeling Concepts seemed to be open to modifications of the design if needed. I would certainly get another estimate/design from then when I decide to actually have the remodel done.

David was excellent. He was on time and very polite. His staff was wonderf. I loved the design.

The design went well. There was some confusion about the meeting date. The email had a different meeting date than we were told on the phone. We like the design enough to proceed with the renovation. Although the staff and the company are young and somewhat new, we like the professional and easy to work style. They are receptive to suggestions and try to accommodate the customer. We ask for a timeline and itemized listing of material and labor cost before the work begins. Since the work has not yet been performed, I can't evaluate the quality of the work.

He was prompt and courteous and promised the plans within a more than reasonably short time following his home inspection/visit. Delivery of the plans was delayed by a few days due to Hurricane Sandy hitting our area and his being called out to other clients' homes to do emergency repairs, a delay that showed me his commitment to his clients' and prioritizing their needs in a way that I would very much appreciate had I been one of the clients suffering hurricane damage. Because I did not have either of the bathroom designs he proposed built, I cannot comment on work actually done in my home, but I can definitely recommend him for planning and estimating remodeling jobs and I would include him in those on a short list I would consider for the actual remodeling to be done due to his courteous, professional, timely and very satisfactory provision of not one set but two sets of bathroom addition plans.

The service was to design a renovation of an old, small, first floor bathroom containing sink, toilet and shower. The bathroom wall could have been expanded into a closet in the room next door. The design was provided within a reasonable amount of time. The design, however, did not meet my expectation (may have been a misunderstanding). The design included a bathtub, which I did not request. Further service was not requested.

We signed up to have our roof replaced using the Angie's List deal. Remodeling Concepts responded promptly and we were able to work out the details very quickly (we also had two skylights to be replaced and our house was slightly larger than the deal size). The team called ahead to schedule once the weather warmed up (we bought the deal in late Feb). They were very professional through the experience and finished in just over 1 day. We did notice one spot were the singles were not perfectly flush, which they fixed quickly. We were very comfortable with the finished products and have since had their team replace our shutters as well. The overall experience with using the Angie's List deal and Remodeling Concepts was excellent. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

The work hasn't started yet but so far so good on working with them.

Called Remodeling Concepts when an Angie's List promotion appeared in my in-box. Checked-out Angie's List and felt the company was reliable. They promptly scheduled an appt. and provided an estimate within a few days. Upon signing the contract and sending a small deposit the project was scheduled within a week's timeframe! Materials were dropped off the night before and Jack, the foreman, and his crew arrived as planned on the day of the scheduled work. Cold and snow on the roof-top did not deter them. They waited a bit for the snow to stop and went full speed ahead. I am completely satisfied with the end result. The roof looks very nice and the clean-up was above and beyond. You would of never known that shingles and black roofing paper were all over the place just a few hours before. I would suggest as a homeowner to do a once-over for nails in the driveway; just in case. Kudos to all!

They have drawn up a formal proposal. We were very pleased with the proposal they put together. I was very pleased with their overall appreciation of our space and their willingness to be very flexible with what we are looking for. They were mindful of our particular tastes and our concerns. They have been able to adapt to whatever suggestions or questions we might have. It didn't feel like we were being given a cookie cutter approach.

We are pleased. Very professional and prompt. We will probably use Remodeling Concepts to do the actual work.

Our experience was very good, and the company delivered what was promised - and on time. I didn't know what to expect, since this was a special Angie's List deal and the services offered were valued much higher than the price we paid. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased and believe the deal was an excellent value.

They quickly scheduled an inspection, provided a quote and started the work 1-2 weeks after that. It wasn't an urgent repair. They completed the work quickly and did a good job.

Dave Martinof Remodeling came to our home, gave us an estimate and promised to complete the kitchen by Thanksgiving, which was then aout 5 weeks away. We ordered the materals through Dave. Everything came in promptly and in perfect condition. Despite the short turnaround, the crews worked hard and finished everything the day before Thanksgiving. Everything turned out better than we could have hoped. The crews were professsional and courteous. They cleaned up every day before leaving. The price was exactly as estimated. At the outset, Dave said that if he promised something he would come through, and he is a man of his word. We love our new kitchen.

I told him it was no rush and he provided it for me in a timely fashion. He met with me and we discussed. He measured and we talked about what my budget would be. He was a very nice gentleman and he did a find job.

I contacted this company in the middle of February to get a quote on repairing a gutter and capping a small block basement window. They did not have anyone available until this week so I agreed. The day prior to the visit, a lady called me and asked me if I was still interested. I told her yes. She then asked if I am getting the work done. I told her I would never make a decision like that over the phone and without even having someone come out and look at the actual job that needed to be done first. She was a little pushy and kept insisting that it would be more convenient for them if I made a decision over the phone to agree to get the job done so their employee could get the necessary materials for the job. That made absolutely no sense to me! How could the tech know what materials were needed if no one ever came out to look at the job and give me an estimate???? He could've inspected the job and found that more or less was needed, made no sense at all to make a decision before an estimate was given? That was a red flag for me and I told her to just cancel the appointment. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and I have never heard of anyone asking to make a decision before an estimate was even given?? Very strange on this company's employee's behalf. Not sure if the company is aware that she is doing this but it potentially cost them a job.

They did provide a kitchen design with revisions

Remodeling Concepts LLC was used about two summers ago. It was just under $15,000. I like everything. Everything that they said, any item I had a problem with they took care of include the boss. The boss came out and got a lot of it. The boss came out the first day and he came out the last day.

Everyone in this company is professional and pleasant to work with. From David Martin, who came out and did the estimate, to Jack, the foreman on the job, the crew who did the work, and Holly, coordinating everything from the office. They came out on time to do the work and cleaned up after as if they hadn't been there. Everything looks great .

Remodeling Concepts LLC did what they said they were going to do, they were prompt, and fulfilled their obligations.

They were upfront and told me they couldn't do flat roofs.
