They were very good; very responsive. Unfortunately, my roof is too small and too flat so it just doesn't fit into the details of the Big Deal. They told me to call Angie's List for a refund.

It went very well, I was very pleased. They sent me a 3-d pic of how it would look. He took notes and measurements. I got the bid and we went with them. I made sure he would work daily and they did. They were on time and very professional. I love my new kitchen. They went above and beyond.

I was pleased with the response and quotation detail provided.

The contractor was punctual and professional when he came to my condo to take measurements and photos. He took the time to ask me what I was looking for in terms of style. He was also helpful in answering my questions about which walls could be knocked out and how to address issues specific to my kitchen. A few weeks later, I met with the contractor again in the showroom to reveal the design. They unveiled the design and walked through the written estimate with me. The estimate came in higher than expected (I had put a lot of "wish list" items on there that I didn't really need), but they were willing to work with me to bring the project down to meet my budget. They gave me copies of the graphics as well as blueprints. Overall I was pleased with the provider's professionalism, their willingness to work with my budget, and the quality of the graphics I was provided.

We were already involved in a project that took much longer than we anticipated, so even though we purchased this deal in March, it was delayed for about four to five months. However, once RCLLC was able to make an appointment, it was very smooth sailing. David Martin, the designer visited our home to look at the proposed remodeling project. He took pictures of our existing kitchen and measured the area. David also made suggestions. He took our ideas, his photographs, and measurements and indicated that there would be approximately two weeks to work up a design. The initial contact went very well. David was a good listener. I say this because once we saw the finished product, I could see how our ideas had been incorporated into the design and the 3D renderings gave us a good look at what our new kitchen would look like. Our visit to the showroom was excellent. We saw two kitchen models, got a look at samples of cabinetry, counter tops, flooring, etc.had a very thorough discussion/explanation of the proposed project. We were given pictures of our current kitchen layout and 3D renderings of the proposed new kitchen and a graphed design sketch containing very detailed measurements that we are still studying. Our questions were answered. We were also presented with a proposal, so we left knowing exactly what the project would cost. Overall, the $75 deal was well worth it. We felt very comfortable with RCLLC.

You get to deal direct with the owner during the entire job. Dave removed an old deck and built us a new one. Fantastic job and all details were followed to our liking. Deck is very large and is two floors up. Railing were perfect as well as inlays in the deck. Job site was cleaned up every day and all workers were great.. We have used Dave for other jobs and are very pleased with his work.

It was not great. It was not what I wanted. I wanted some creative ideas for this small kitchen. He gave me updated to the same kitchen, everything was in the same spot. He did not give ideas on how to move things around. I could have done the same thing he did if I had that program. I did give them feedback. I expected some sort of ideas. They were friendly, available, prompt, came when they said they would, made the appointment and did not disappear on me.

They did an excellent job on the design. We are building a home, so we are not going to be using them at this time. They provided an excellent service and I am considering them for the build process if I can get the home builder to consider an outside source.

It went good. It was the only one I ever had done so I didn't have anything to compare it to.

Dave showed up at the house and measured out the room. We then discussed my preferences and he gave me suggestions. I happened to have a design book and marked pages with items I liked. After a few weeks, his designer had mocked up the room as well as provided cabinet, tile and color choices. All were quite good. After a few go arounds, we got the design right. Due to timing, I waited to have them actually perform the work. We have since reviewed the plan again and have made changes to the diagram to better reflect the room. All in all, a great experience so far.

Remodeling Concepts was the only contractor, of the 3 I contacted via my search on Angie's List, who really went above and beyond, to service my specific needs... My home is approximately 25 years old and is in a community governed by a home owners association. As a result, when repairs are required to exterior portions of the home, there is a lengthy approval process involved as well as the requirement to use approved materials in approved colors. Because of the age of our home, the original aluminum siding is no longer manufactured, and a vinyl substitute siding was specified. Unfortunately, the siding that was specified was not available in this region. After contacting Tom of Remodeling Concepts, and explaining the situtaion, he came out the day after I called to give me an estimate. It fell absolutely right in line with what my homeowner's insurance claim agent had allowed me on the claim. Best of all, he could get the materials from his supplier. Several weeks later, after I'd received the approval from my HOA, I called Tom to schedule a time to come out and get the work done... and several days later it was done! Quietly, professionally and perfect!

We had purchased a big deal for the service. They were very nice people, but the experience was not entirely successful. We explained what we wanted to have done, and how much we wanted to have spent, and the design that they gave us was twice as much as wanted to spend. So we told them that it was too expensive, and we asked them to amend it, so that it could be to our budget, and they came back with a quote slightly less than what they had given us, and it was still more than what we wanted to spend. At this point, we just said thank you and left it at that. We thought they weren't listening, and when they gave us an estimate, we asked them why it was that much, and why the costs were of a particular amount, and they didn't do that. They did what they said they were going to do, and did it in a timely manner. Sometimes it was difficult to get in touch with them, and it didn't entirely feel professional.

We were very pleased with them. We were on vacation and we had a problem where the gutter was separated from the house, because when another company put in the roof, they didn’t put it back on right. So we called and they came out while we were on vacation, he said he would come and do it and he was very reasonable with what he charged. Normally, it would have been $227 but he charged us a hundred plus something. An A rating is not enough for these guys; they are an A plus all the way! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Good, so far! He looked over the proposed remodel and took measurements. He is waiting for me to give him the ok to start working on the estimate.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. Everything went fine. They came on a timely manner but it wasn't immediately because a third party was involved in it. This was my first time using them. They paid attention to details, to what they were doing. They were always involved, they had a foreman that was always working on the job. They did the job very well. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The estimate looked professional, at first. Unfortunately, there were some parts that made me very uneasy. When it came to liability, they, and I quote "exercise reasonable care during process, but cannot assume responsibility for personal property." This is what the contractor agrees to. This is a contradiction and it is unacceptable to us as a consumer. The payment plan is unspecific. They also state that they can stop work if payments are not received but they don’t give information on when that point is. I don’t think the contact was professionally done. I felt that the job estimate was somewhat over priced, even with Angie's List discount. The estimate was not itemized, and did not express what that discount was.

This started off great and turned sour, Dave came to the house and we had a good feeling about him. But follow up on details virtually never occurred in spite of multiple calls and emails. A few simple and appropriate requests were made and they were not addressed. Just not a good experience.

they came out and took measurements, asked what we wanted in a new kitchen and a week or two later we went to their office and discussed the renovation. We left with the drawings and a good idea of what it would cost.

We had a few minor issues coordinating on geting the work done. However, the vendor was very responsive as we worked through those. There seemed to be some communication problems between the office and the crews, but in any case the work was finally setup to be done. The crew arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled. The cost for the job matched the previously agreed upon amount. A month or so after the work was done, when we had a lot of rain, I noticed a long section of gutter was overflowing. I called the vendor and they sent someone out within a day. He inspected it, saw that there was a small problem and committed to coming back out the next working day to correct. He followed through on this and also checked the other gutters while he was here. The problem has been fixed satisfactorily.

Very well. Measurement went fine, designer did a good job. They do require you to come to their showroom to pick up the drawings -- which is fine -- but it was difficult to schedule hours on a weekend. Other then that, all was fine.

Dave came out to our home to give me an estimate for the bath remodel and he was very helpful with extra ideas of how the space could be used better. I had already gotten 4 other estimates and Dave was a lot more helpful with ideas and not just writing down measurements and listening to my ideas. It gave me a lot more confidence when we decided to hire them for the project, we felt more comfortable with them than with the other companies. From day one the workers that came to the house to work were extremely punctual, courteous and the clean up every day was excellent. The project manager, Tom was on top of things every day and would e-mail me and let me know each phase of the project as it was being done. We could not be happier with the way things turned out, the craftsmanship is perfect. They didn't give us any reason to complain about anything. I will definitely hire them again for any future projects and would highly recommend them to friends and family. We are in need of a new roof and siding soon and they will be at the top of the list for this job.

I did not have a face to face with anyone but the rep who took the measurements, who was punctual. The rep asked few questions, and because I wanted changes to the kitchen layout, I thought they'd be back to me with questions after measuring, which as not the case. Prior to measurement appt., the designer sent out a questionnaire which I answered as best I could. I was invited to the showroom, but not interested in going after the price was quoted. Everything for a potential kitchen contract was supplied to me after I did not respond to the invitation to go to the showroom. (A quote and the rendering) My husband was HOT that I purchased the "deal" from Angie's List, knowing that we were not in a position to start a project like this anytime soon. (Which was asked on the questionnaire.) I believe the cost of the rendering would be applied to a contract with the company, but it is not a good deal for people who are not set on buying, esp. those who want a couple of quotes before signing with a company. I based my overall rating on emails and phone calls only.

Our quote was emailed to us. On the email there were links so that we were able to see everything that was going to be used on our roof. It made it very easy to pick the color shingles we wanted and see what was going to be used. We were told that the roofing crew would be at our house between 7 and 7:30 am and they were right on time. Our house was covered with tarps to catch the pieces of roof that were removed. The roofers were fast and efficient, they had the whole house shingled in 1 day. Twice during the roofing process the site supervisor took us around the house explaining what was being done and what things we should look for. He was more than happy to answer any questions we had. He expained that one of the items on the quote was not going to be used on our roof because the way our roof was originally installed it was not needed. Once the roof was completed the roofers went around the yard with a magnet to pick up any nails that may have fallen off the tarps or missed the tarps. They did have a dumpster in the driveway to collect all the used roofing and other trash. They even cleaned our gutters. We were very happy with the job that Remodelling Concepts did on our roof.

My house is a Swiss type chalet so 90% of the house is roof with windows on the front. After they had installed the roof I noticed that there was a bulge in the roof from the ridge beam all the way to the soffit. I called them and they sent a guy back to check on it. He took a quick look and told me I had a bowed rafter. They refused to do anything about it! I dont know why they would have continued with the roof because they had to have noticed this. So now I have a house that I was hoping to put on the market in the next couple years that has a huge bow in the roof that Remodeling Concepts refuses to do anything about.

We liked their plans. They were able to come out pretty quickly and did not have a problem with getting an appointment.
